I had a problem transferring my domain from network solutions to another provider, it seems they couldn't do it properly. No matter how many times I requested it. But the customer service representative I spoke to on the phone was very nice. And resolved my situation for just thirty dollars.
The hosting itself may be acceptable, but the vDeck control panel is one of the most frustrating hosting interfaces I've used.
Simple tasks like creating a staging environment, setting up a subdomain, or creating a database took hours because the UI provides very little guidance. Error messages are generic, validation rules are unclear, and there are almost no contextual hints or documentation where they're actually needed.
I had to make 10+ attempts just to create a database and database user due to confusing validation rules and inconsistent feedback. A modern hosting control panel should make these tasks take minutes, not hours.
The overall UX feels outdated and unintuitive. Network Solutions would greatly benefit from redesigning the vDeck interface with clearer workflows, inline validation, better error messages, and contextual help. It would significantly improve the experience for developers and website administrators.
Sapna really helped me with my renewal issue. Thank you again for that.

I bought a domain for one year.
A month later they charge fees turning all my add on "on" in my account what i didnt do my self. I contact them and after 2 hours on a chat i habe the confirmation they will refund me and cancel the "add on". (And they never refund me like scammer just to shut my mouth).
Today they take another amount in my account that i wasnt supposed to have because the month before their employees was supposed to turn everything off but they didnt...
After 3 hours on the chat they email me sayin we are not refunding you...in a email you can't reply... avoid this company if you dont like to have 70$ take in your account without your permission.i explain them i did a stroke last week and they took the only money i have for eating this week....look like they prefer to be ritcher and dont give a them about their mistake not mine.... Now i have to cancel my card at the bank.
This website is a scam.

My WEB and EMAIL host disappeared.
Since NS provides my Domain management and they now provide Email and Web hosting I tried to move my lost services to them using their WEB site. I got lost and had to call them. Didn't got far talking to the android that answered but was forward to a nice lady with the name of Maria. She patiently spent about 30 minutes with me moving things over and configuring the various setting to get by Email and Domain pointing at the needed places. After several tries to connect my email client to NS, all is well.

customer service is what every company is about and
my recent experience with Network Solutions was very good. The transition from IPage to Network Solutions can be hectic, but those on the front lines made it exciting! Good job!

Unfortunately, I had a nightmare experience with Network Solutions. I had an account at another company that was bought by Network Solutions (NS) and all of my problems started after that. All I wanted to do was transfer my domain name and email from NS to another company. NS made it as difficult as possible to do that. It took many months and a great deal of money paid to a tech expert to finally break free from them. I could not deal with the situation myself because there was no way that I could do this on my own, and my husband, who is tech savvy, tried but couldnt't do it either.
Here's what NS did: Every time they said that the transfer process would be complete with this new step, it wasn't. There was always another step we had to take to get free from them. This situation continued from February through July of this year (2026).
Each time this happened, we had to wait a long time to speak with a representative and most times, our call had to be escalated. However, none of these people could either explain or stop the problems from happening. This is why I had to hire and pay an experienced tech friend to finally complete the process of getting free from NS. It cost me over $1,000, and it would have cost much more if he had charged me his regular price.
I see that many people have had a good experience with this company, and I would be very appreciative if NS can explain to me the very difficult experience I suffered. with them.

Network solutions deleted 15 years worth of saved folders. Stay away from them at all cost. One of the worse companies I have ever done business with,

A genuinely terrible expereince with customer service. The agents are good people but this company does not provide them with the resources they need to do a good job. I have to contact many times, my cases are lost, phone calls cut off, chats end before resolution. One agent says I'll hear back in 48 hours, then nothing for days. The reason they say is because the chat was ended from my side but this is not true and the transcript proves that the chat was properly completed. Another attempt tells me that now I have to pay 59.99 for assitance to recover lost emails but when I call the paid assistance they tell me its the wrong service and of no use. I'm sent back to the group that told me wait 48 hours, then pay, then can't help, then 48 more hours. Then so much time has passed that the emails can no longer be recovered. It's an endless loop of being passed from one person who is not fully trained to another. The emails were lost when the server got too full, but I received no notice that it was getting too full. Then, boom, the folders are lost.
I've been with the orignal company Startlogic for over 20 years. But it has gotten so bad after being passed to iPage then Network Solutions that I have to go to another company.

I want to preface this by saying this is NOT a reflection on the tech support I spoke to. They were 4. This IS a reflection on Network Solutions!
I created my domain with PowWeb 20 years ago and never had an issue with my emails.
iPage then took over and still no issues. Then problems began when Network Solutions took over. I noticed subtle changes in how they handled things,'taking them from easy to convoluted but ignored them.
I signed up my domain name only for professional email for two users, no hosting.
The tech went through the changes to add each email account and passwords. All looked good on their end.
In setting up Apples Mail none of the settings they provided would work! It kept saying invalid user name/password or domain. After exhausting all variables for email settings I was finally able to log on to my webmail, ONLY after having to renter my password because their system did not record the original. Bottom line is I had to re enter the password for BOTH accounts because their system did not record them correctly the first time!
We DO NOT use webmail! Theirs is so convoluted compared to others I don't see how anyone would use it.
After all of this I went to set up Apple Mail again with their various settings. NO GO!
The tech said I would have to contact Apple tech support since this was a custom domain.
I have already tried Apple's settings with no luck. I also updated the certificate but no go. Apparently it's something to do with Network Solutions settings but they have no idea and said it appears to be an issue with their "Professional Email".
For now my business can only check mail from their web mail... a real issue!
I do NOT recommend Network Solutions for taking something so simple to extremely convoluted and next to impossible to use.

Your HUMANS are awesome! Both Christy and Gideon were helpful, patient, and proficient. On the other hand, the Ipower BOTS truly SUCK! They repeatedly ask the same questions regardless of how you try to re-frame the issue. Sooo..., down the rabbit hole you go, around and around, all the while trying to get to a natural living being. 2 hours of my time today were spent on just trying to get into a human being, When I did get a real live person, THEY WERE GREAT! Thank you for still employing these individuals to assist a low tech low vision old fart like ME!:)!

The Support agent I interacted with was very knowledgeable and helped me quickly resolve my DNS and IP technical issues plus mail box functionality that needs its MX Records updated since my website is hosted on wix.com.
