If I could put 0 stars I would, I paid for 3 months with this dating site, and then they make it so I cant get into the app. Saying that no one with my email is a member, so I cant even get on the site and I had just started talking with a woman, there is no customer service and no one to complain to about this, this dating app. Sucks, dont do it!!!

This dating app is horrible. There was no response when I sent in questions to customer service.
I ran into so many fake accounts.
It was like going to a jr high school dance. HORRIBLE!!
I signed up for 3 months but deleted my account after a few weeks.

I signed up for an account and was never actually able to log on for the first time because I was blocked for some reason by match. I sent them three separate messages telling them I was blocked from even logging on and got three automated responses telling me I needed to log in and fix the problem. These people are complete idiots over there. This website lost a customer because it can't even respond to the complaint

Many scams, people asking to join onto telegram. Obviously many SCAMS very unreliable. Waste of time reporting anything expensive mistake!

I was last on here in 2010 and it was a good experience. In 2026 though it's absolutely overrun with scammers. Some will immediately ask for your email, others will engage you in seemingly genuine conversation, and then ask for your email or whatsapp.
Match need to purge the site, the scam profiles are quite easy to spot after a while, and follow consistent structure (One pic, barely any written profile)
As far as I'm concerned, Match is a dead site still charging for a service they can no longer reliably provide

There are no humans or phone numbers for customer service. I spent 2 hours putting my profile up and even got verified. When I tried to log back in, it didn't recognize my password so I tried again 2 times thinking I typed it wrong. Then it blocked me. I tried for 2 weeks to explain this to customer support and it would send an automated replay with completely incorrect issue solutions. After I sent an appeal they sent me an email saying I am permanently banned! For putting my password in wrong 3 times in a row!! wow.

I joined Match last month. So far l have chatted with 4 women who didn't live that far from me. One of them asked for my phone number and l gave it to her. I was expecting her to call me. But instead, she calls me on WhatsApp using the voice call. She had a African accent and so l ended the call and l reported it. Another one sent me a picture. I checked it out and the picture was a AI fake. Other two l was chatting with on Match and both disappeared in the middle of the chat. I found out both were scammers and checking to see if your account is active. I don't know why Match allows this. I guess their only concern is making money.

I paid for the membership to see my likes. It said I had over 60 likes but it only showed me 3. It continues to send me notifications like I get new likes but, always just shows the same 3. I asked for a refund after a week and an auto response says they don’t do refunds.

I created a profile, and when I attempted to login I had been banned when the only thing I had completed was photos and minimal information. I requested information as to why I was blocked/banned, and I was directed to look at the rules. I reviewed the rules, and it was still unclear as to the reasoning. Therefore I requested a bit more information, and I was threatened that the case was closed, and if I attempted to create a new profile, I would be blocked/banned. They stated that no further information would be provided and the case was closed. I’m a 55 yr old women that is your average older person, I was totally confused to what happened and question what kind of service Match is if they respond to people in this manner. Oh well, bye bye Match.

Set up free account. Can't log back in, because Match.com can't verify two cell numbers I gave them.
Means I can't even deactivate my account. No help through customer service.
It's all about the money now. 10 years ago, it was basically free.
It's trash now.

Match is the worst dating site ive ever experienced. 90% of the people writing me were scammers and after I turned off the autorenew on the subscription, it mysteriously turned back on and I was charged 251 dollars. Match ignored my emails and there is no phone number. I had to cancel my credit card so they would stop charging me. I am afraid of match.com now. It has become the scammer website of dating.

It’s been impossible to get a hold of Match. I have emailed many times explaining my issues and they have never been resolved. I seek Caucasian women and most of the women I get are not Caucasian. My complaint is as simple as that.
Match has been very non-responsive. I don’t know how they have a good reputation although I know there’s considerable feedback that they are not satisfactory.
Then again or any dating sites trustworthy?

I have been a member for over a year. Using the app has been a genuinely horrible experience. The number of false profiles is staggering. Requests for communication off app without even getting to know you first (with almost obvious malicious intent) is out of control. I recently canceled my subscription and daily I get notifications that someone likes me in my email when I log into the app, no views and no likes. Clearly an algorithm designed to retain a subscription. Support from the MATCH team? Non existent! Ability to contact them - virtually impossible. Do not waste your money or time. You will be frustrated.

The app is designed to keep you on the app not find a meaningful relationship. And it is filled with accounts of ‘peoples who are not who they say they are. Scam hotbed.

Absolutely no local results to searches. Support is non-existent. DO NOT SPEND MONEY OR TIME HERE.

Ok i am on there at the moment,i have been a paid subscriber for 2 months.Please do not give this scam french scum bag company any money..I am an above average 58 year old and its an utter scam...as an experiment i sent over 200 likes...1 reply who disappeared after 10 mins.Likes from other end of country and zero dates.I met my ex on Our time a couple of years ago and had chats and dates with others.Today it is a scam and nothing like where i had some good times...end of!!!.Do not join do not pay i cannot say it enough.i am not paying for another month and have instructed bank to stop payments with 4 months left.DO NOT PAY the French scam company.
This is actually the first review i have EVER written about ANY company and it takes a lot to get me riled but this site does..Match also own Plenty of fish and Ourtime...DO NOT pay for any!!!!

Biggest waste of money. They keep telling you to upgrade for more money. They have 3 packages, unless you buy the expensive package you cannot see who viewed you or text anyone. What a ripoff.

I had never been on a dating app before and I signed up and paid for one month to see if I liked it. 5 days after signing up, I got an email saying I had been banned for using automated data. All I did was switch from my cell phone to my laptop and do a little editing to my profile.

I went through the ban appeal process and 4 days later I got an email saying that my email did not exist as an account with them. I filed a second appeal and attached evidence of their correspondence with me and that I did indeed have an email account with them. That was 2 weeks ago and I have not received a response. My subscription expires in 2 days.

I reached out to customer service to cancel my subscription and they said I needed to log into my account to do so. I can't log into my account because I've been blocked from using it. I decided to dispute my original credit card charge and leave the 4 gentlemen I had been corresponding with thinking I had ghosted them.

Their system is set up in such a way that if you switch devices you could be banned or blocked permanently. I can't really review their entire website accurately because I wasn't on there long enough to experience it. I can say that you can be banned and blocked from using your account for absolutely no reason and they have a terrible customer service response. No matter what I sent them, the automated response says you have to go through the ban appeal process, which I have already done twice.

I looked this problem up online and I am not the only one this has happened to. Some people had never even gotten to post their profile and they've been blocked permanently. Be aware of this possibility before you sign up!!

I was banned for no reason and they refused to tell me why !!!!
