Fundamentally bad product

Fundamentally bad product. Obviously the company has spent a lot of money on marketing and sales. But the product itself is just bad. You cannot cover and area of more than 3m2 without pattern repeats. Given the astronomical pricing you'd expect at least some investment to have gone into ensuring the products are of high quality.

I've covered a total area of 60m2 in Seychelles and what would have been a relatively simple job turned into lots of wasted time having to go through boxes, open planks, find that the plank is identical to the last one, go through another box.

UPDATE following Floorify's response:

Floorify's reply misrepresents my complaint. My issue is not that I had to open multiple boxes — of course a 60m² installation requires many boxes. My issue is that across 25+ boxes, there were no more than about 7 distinct plank designs in total.

Their advice to "mix several boxes" only works if different boxes contain different designs. They don't. Mixing boxes of identical planks still leaves you with identical planks. You cannot distribute variation that doesn't exist.

Do the maths: 60m² covered with roughly 7 unique designs means each design repeats dozens of times across the floor. On a pattern like Seychelles — with very distinctive dark areas and knots — those repeats are impossible to miss. Claiming the product is "specifically designed with a high degree of plank variation" is simply contradicted by what's in the boxes.

A response that addressed the actual limitation — the small number of unique prints per range — would have been more honest than implying I installed it incorrectly. My original review stands: at this price point, the lack of genuine pattern variety is a fundamental product flaw.

Large tile click flooring – bouncing issue

I purchased Floorify large-format tile-click flooring for my home, which is brand new and has hydronic underfloor heating.

From the beginning, I experienced a noticeable “bouncing” effect in several areas, making the floor uncomfortable to walk on. I initially assumed this was an installation issue and paid for additional levelling work, but the problem persisted.

What has been particularly frustrating is the lack of resolution despite proactively engaging with both the retailer and the manufacturer to resolve the issue. The process involved extensive back-and-forth and focused heavily on technical factors such as moisture testing and heating protocols.

There is a clear disconnect between how the product is marketed and the level of technical requirements later invoked when problems occur. Floorify promotes its click flooring as easy to install, including guidance suggesting it can be installed by homeowners themselves. However, when issues arise, the expectations shift towards professional moisture measurements and strict technical procedures that are not clearly emphasised upfront.

It is also worth noting that:
– the same flooring performs perfectly in an upstairs en-suite (no underfloor heating)
– A different Floorify product (herringbone) performs well in the heated areas

This suggests the issue may relate to the suitability of the click system with large-format tiles and underfloor heating.

Despite providing detailed information, photos and videos, I was never given a clear conclusion or a practical solution.

As a result of these ongoing issues, I will now need to replace the entire kitchen floor.

Overall, the product may work in certain conditions, but in my experience, it has not performed as expected in a typical residential setting, and the after-sales support has been disappointing.
