I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not send your Dyson for a repair if you ever want to see it back. After sending My Dyson for repair, I was told that they are not able to fix it, they attempted to sell me the new one, which I did. I asked them to ship my original Dyson back, which they said they will in like 7 days. It has been almost 2 months, and after multiple chat and phone conversations with Dyson Team they refuse to send it back. Horrible experience all together!

I missed the return window and regret this purchase

I bought the Dyson Clean & Wash Hygiene expecting a premium product that would make floor cleaning easier. Unfortunately, it has been one of the most disappointing purchases I have made in years.

The cleaning performance is average at best, while the maintenance is excessive. After every use I have to empty dirty water, remove wet debris by hand, wash multiple parts, clean the roller, and then listen to a loud 30+ minute drying cycle. The self-cleaning function does not leave the roller properly clean, so additional manual cleaning is still required.

I purchased the product under Dyson's trial period, but due to moving house I only started using it regularly after the return window had expired. Had I tested it earlier, I would have returned it immediately.

I regret both the money spent and the trust I placed in the Dyson brand when purchasing this model. If given the choice today, I would choose a traditional vacuum cleaner and mop over this machine without hesitation.

Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene Wet and Dry Hard Floor Cleaner

Coming from Dyson, I expected more. But this is the biggest POS I have ever purchased.

It doesn't clean against the wall or cabinet; it just leaves a trail of detritus behind that you have to go back and clean up. The front or sides just push dirt and crap into that space.

The included detergent (or whatever Dyson is calling it) is a complete non-starter. No matter how much or how little you add to the water, this piece of garbage just make gobs of foam; and it gets everywhere. And it takes about 8 rinses to get it out of the roller. (Actually, I've tried using it a couple more times and I'm still getting gobs of foam! Unbelievable!!!)

My biggest regret, outside of purchasing this in the first place, was to wait too long to first use it. I'm out of the 30 day return period, so I'm stuck with this piece of crap.

Anyone want to buy it from me. I'll take $1.

So Very Disappointing

I bought a Dyson Big Ball some years ago for my vacation property so it gets used maybe 8 times a year, this vacuum was not inexpensive but has turned out to be disappointingly useless So much for my trust in a supposedly reputable company. Dyson products are expensive and expected to live up to a certain standard. This machine is clumsy and difficult to use. The beater brush does not work on any type of carpet and scatters debris on flooring. I do not understand the purpose of the brush on this vacuum. The vacuum is cheaply made, does not right itself and constantly binds on its cord. I would never again buy a Dyson product.

No Support When Parts Are Missing From New Vacuums

My wife really enjoys the Dyson vacuums. That said, we purchased two Dyson vacuums. When we opened the box, the tool holders were missing from both. Both vacuums were registered with Dyson for warranty. I have contacted Dyson over ten times to obtain the missing parts. At first, the customer service person would put in an order....then it would be cancelled. Now, they won't even put in an order and tell me to go buy the part from a retainer. I'm not upset at the customer service people, but Dyson (as a company) does not stand behind its own product. They will certainly sell you a vacuum, but will offer zero or false support when there is a manufacturer issue. Dyson warranty support is worthless. Zero help, but a lot of time trying to get the part that was supposed to be in the box. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Be warned - Dyson does not back up its own product.

The warranty doesn’t cover anything. You’ll receive a vaccum in pieces

I bought a vacuum, paid $ 400. After 6 months, the vacuum cleaner broke down completely. I called Customer Service, and after a 1.5-hour video call, the representative confirmed it was faulty and told me the replacement would arrive in 8 days. To my unpleasant surprise, they sent one part, the motor. I called, complained again, and they sent another part. I called again, and after complaining for an hour, they told me they would send the other part next week. How is it possible that they send the vacuum cleaner in pieces? It's like a Lego set. Customer service apologized, but they didn't send a new vacuum cleaner. I've been without a vacuum cleaner for 3 weeks and I'm collecting parts as they arrive... DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. The warranty doesn't replace anything; it's a complete lie.

Worst Customer Service Experience – Damaged My Device!

I bought the Dyson Supersonic Nural HD16 in June 2025. By late April 2026, it stopped working correctly because the runtime dropped drastically. I sent it in for repair, but it was returned two weeks later dirty and still broken. Dyson claimed they "couldn't replicate the issue."
I sent it back a second time. This time, they returned it dirty, deeply scratched, and physically damaged!
When I called support, the experience got worse. The first representative offered a 20% discount on any full-price item. They refused a refund or upgrade, offering only an exchange. However, my original color is out of stock, so I am forced to choose a color I do not want.
To make matters worse, a second representative called back and changed the story. They said the 20% discount only applies to vacuums or the exact same hairdryer—no other haircare tools.
Dyson used to mean quality, but their service is now a complete nightmare.
Avoid this company!

I bought the Dyson air wrap Coanda2x…

I bought the Dyson air wrap Coanda2x and it came defective from the very first use. It would turn off constantly. I called Dyson did a zoom video tutorial and … Nothing. They said they would send a part to fix it and I said I wanted a new one. A brand new $750 machine should not need repair. The process was horrific. They made it so difficult. I sent it back. Then, they said it would take 14 business days to get the new one. I got the new one… THE SAME THING happened. Are you kidding me. I call again and i asked for a refund and they did not want to issue a return label for a refund. They said it was going to take 3 business days to escalate the situation. What situation? I paid $750 for a product that came defective twice and you don't want to return my money even though i only had it for 2 days????? Terrible customer service. Never buying from them again. I also have a dyson hair dryer. Never had a problem with that product . Bought a Corrale and it did not stay on either the first time i tried it out if the box, Don't buy from them. If you are going to buy something from Dyson, buy it at Ulta. They have better customer service tgan Dyson!

Dyson warranty return lost in transit – extremely dissapointing experience with Dyson customer service

My Dyson hair dryer stopped working while still under warranty (approximately one year remaining). I first contacted Dyson support and was initially advised to bring the product to a service center in another state, which was not feasible, even though I live in New York City with plenty of Dyson shops around. Only after further communication was I offered the option to ship the product back for inspection/replacement.

Dyson provided a prepaid shipping label, and I followed all instructions, purchased packaging materials by myself, and shipped the unit. I have the UPS drop-off receipt and tracking information as proof of shipment.

The tracking shows the package has been dropped-off at UPS store, though UPS is claiming that it has left the location for more than 2,5 weeks, so it is either missing or stolen. After contacting UPS directly, I was informed that because Dyson generated the shipping label, only Dyson can initiate a claim with UPS.

Despite this, Dyson customer support initially instructed me to file the claim myself, which led to significant delays and time spent communicating with UPS. Dyson has not made a claim themselves or provided a resolution.

Every communication through e-mail with Dyson customer service is frustrating and leads to no solution, they just keep repeating the same lines, but not making any progress in trying to resolve the matter.

Known defect, no parts, no ETA — “premium” in name only

Bought a Dyson vacuum directly for nearly $1,000. Within months, it became almost unusable.
Customer support quickly confirmed this is a known and widespread defect (diagnostics were efficient, to be fair). However, the experience went downhill from there:

No replacement parts available
No ETA, and no visibility on when parts might exist
No willingness or ability to replace the unit (despite repair involving ~80% of the device)
I was told to call back myself periodically to check if the part is available

Meanwhile, this exact model is still actively sold.
This is not the level of service expected from a premium brand. It’s what you’d expect from a low-cost manufacturer with no accountability. Very disappointing.

I decided to order a Dyson hairdryer…

I decided to order a Dyson hairdryer directly from them as a gift my someone. The delivery date was ideal. I received an email with a tracking number. Each day I tracked the item it showed the shipper rescheduled it. After talking to some snobby customer service agent who sounded like a robot (I checked, he wasn’t) and got nowhere, I got curious and finally called the shipper. Turns out the package was lost the first day but they just kept sending me “delivery rescheduled” emails. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. I cancelled the delivery, that is when and if they find it, and was told that I must call Dyson back to let them know I want a refund. Boy, I’m really looking forward to that…

DYSON DEFECTIVE

I have owned 5 Dyson cordless vacuums and the latest 2 are HORRIBLE
The heads designed for carpets has a defect on the ridged swivel stabilizer covers (2) on each side... they break off and CANNOT be repaired regardless of what you are told. Without them the vacuum slides all over the place! Both are newer models. BUYER BEWARE YOU WILL BE REPLACING EXPENSIVE HEADS EVERY 6 MONTHS.

Luxury prices with bargain-bin customer service.

I am honestly beyond disappointed with Dyson and the way this entire situation was handled.

My boyfriend purchased an AirStraight for me as a gift from the Dyson Fifth Avenue store in New York City. He actually already knew which color I originally wanted and planned to buy that version. However, the salesperson/manager strongly encouraged him to purchase a different “special edition” version because it came with a personalized presentation box. After putting so much effort into selling this specific version and convincing the customer to buy it, it is honestly absurd that Dyson refuses to help once the customer experiences even the smallest issue afterward.

This is a $550 hair tool. I think anyone can understand that when someone spends that much money on a luxury product for you, you naturally want to truly love every part of it — including the color you will be using every single day.

The device itself was NEVER opened, used, touched, or damaged in any way. The only issue was the color choice. The personalized box was not even part of the problem. We repeatedly explained that we did NOT want to exchange the personalized box at all. We simply asked if Dyson could make a small exception and allow us to exchange ONLY the untouched device for another color.

At first, customer service told me they could help and possibly make an exception. Then they sent me to the Paramus, NJ location, which turned out to be a service center that does not even sell products. After wasting my time driving there, they told me I would need to contact the original Fifth Avenue store instead.

I called customer service again and specifically asked for written confirmation stating that an exception could be made so I could show it to the store employees. The representative agreed and assured me the email would include those details. Instead, two minutes later, I received a completely generic email simply repeating company policy about personalized items not being eligible for exchanges or returns.

So why promise help over the phone if you are just going to send a copy-paste policy email afterward?

Then the store told me customer service needed to handle it. Meanwhile customer service insisted only the store could help because the item was purchased in-store. Customers are pushed back and forth while nobody takes responsibility.

What makes this even more frustrating is that companies like Apple and many other major brands are known for actually valuing customer satisfaction and trying to accommodate reasonable situations whenever possible. Dyson, unfortunately, seems far more focused on making the sale than maintaining the relationship with the customer afterward.

If business success was only about taking people’s money and refusing to help them afterward, even the cheapest companies in the world could call themselves “luxury” brands.

Dyson seriously needs to fix the disconnect between its stores and customer service teams because this experience was exhausting, unprofessional, and incredibly disappointing — especially from one of the most high-profile Dyson locations in the world.

Luxury prices with bargain-bin customer service.

I will never purchase another Dyson vacuum.

I have purchased 4 dyson upright ball vacuums over many years. Always felt they were the best vacuum out there because I own dogs. My last 3 were Dyson Ball Animal 3s. They WERE good vacuums but this latest model purchased in November, 2025 is horrible. They redesigned the vacuum head, it is less wide so more "swipes" and higher so it doesn't go under any of my furniture. When I received it the vacuum head kept falling off. They did, however, replace it easily. I am just really disappointed in the overall design and will not buy another. They must know their quality has declined because you cannot post a review on their website.

Their customer support is lacking any…

Their customer support is lacking any form of realistic response. I have bought two of their vacuums in the past month. A v15 detect and an animal three. The animal three is a pain to use. The wand is not functional so i bought another vacuum. A v15 detect for times when we need more flexibility. The battery life is very short.
I went to the website to buy an extra battery. Forgot my credit card and did not want to get up to get it. This vacuum was over 700 dollars. The next morning, the very same battery was now 150 dollars and not 99 like it was just a couple of hours prior. Rip off artists taking advantage of people. Do not support this company. I informed them of the problem and they tried repeatedly that i had the wrong battery and eventually they admitted that they can jack up the price any time they want. Buy at your own risk!

Motor Failure

I purchased the Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner in March 2022 through Hepsiburada, with Dyson Türkiye as the official seller, by paying approximately 4,699 TL, expecting long-lasting and trouble-free use. I used the device regularly for about two years, taking proper care of all maintenance requirements, and I did not experience any issues during this period. However, as of May 13, 2026, the device suddenly stopped working completely after the motor began making an unusual noise and operating intermittently.

After experiencing this issue, I contacted Dyson customer support and was informed that I would need to send the product to service and that the repair fee would be approximately 4,500 TL. Following this, I contacted Dyson via email and asked why such a high service fee, almost equal to the original purchase price, was being requested for a product that had been out of warranty for only one year, especially considering the already premium price I had paid at the time of purchase.

In the response I received, I was told that the warranty period for cordless vacuum cleaners begins on the purchase date and lasts for two years, and that once the warranty period has expired, service support can only be provided through the standard paid repair process. I was also informed that contacting different support channels would not change this decision.

Later, a customer representative called me again and suggested that I purchase a new pre-filter and test the device once more. I followed the recommendation and purchased the suggested pre-filter, but unfortunately the issue was still not resolved and the device continues not to work.

Considering the original price of the product, the duration of use, and the care I have shown in maintaining it, I do not believe it is fair to request a repair fee almost equal to the product’s original cost for a motor failure occurring after such a short period of time. I find it difficult to understand how a product promoted with phrases such as “long-lasting performance,” “powerful motor,” and “premium quality” can develop a motor failure in such a short time, and whether this truly reflects standing behind the brand’s products. In addition, the extremely high repair fee being requested has further increased my disappointment.

I kindly request Dyson Türkiye to reconsider this situation with customer satisfaction in mind and to provide either a free repair or a free replacement for my device.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, we have been without a hoover for 3 weeks.

Dyson incorrectly sent us an Air wrap rather than a replacement Hoover. We obviously let them know, but they've been unable to send us out a new hoover until our broken one is received. This was sent back 2 weeks ago.

Our issue has been passed to the complaints department and there is no other way to communicate other than email and it can take upto 3 days for them to respond. We asked if we could have our money back (within 28days) and they still can't confirm this or we would go and purchase another hoover.
