The bedside tables were out of this world. Not a single scratch or damage. They were not cheap but worth any penny!

We discovered Detjers through a few interior designers and were immediately impressed by their collection. It’s a bit of a drive for us to visit their store in Valkenswaard (though they also have an online shop), but it’s absolutely worth it.
The Chandigarh chair has a rich history, and Bjorn and his team have truly done justice to the design. The craftsmanship is excellent. The wood is high quality and it looks fantastic in our new home. A special shoutout to Pedro as well for delivering it in perfect condition and taking the time to explain how to care for the furniture.

I came across Detjer and from the very first moment it just felt right. The phone contact was so warm and pleasant, they really took the time, which immediately gave me confidence.
The process afterwards was smooth and quick, everything was clear and well organized. You can really tell this is a small family business where service and personal attention still truly matter.
From the first phone call with Bjorn and Pedro to the final delivery, everything went exactly as you would hope. The communication was easy, friendly and reliable. The delivery itself was also neat and well handled.
We bought a cabinet, a coffee table, dining chairs and a stool, and we are genuinely very happy with everything. The quality is beautiful, and you can clearly see the craftsmanship. It looks amazing in our home.

Very good Customer Service but unsatisfied with product
The customer service was very responsive and very good when I had to make an exchange due to damage on one of the items. However, I am overall disappointed with the material quality. The table top of the office desk 90 I ordered is made of plywood and doesn’t feel sturdy. This is not specified on the website and for 649 Euros, a 90cm desk can be expected to be made of solid wood, which would naturally last longer and age better. The lack of transparency feels somewhat misleading and disappointing.

Regarding the tabletop material, we understand your expectation. From our experience, solid wood that is shipped from Indonesia to Europe can regularly move or warp due to differences in temperature and humidity. This is especially the case with larger and thinner flat surfaces, such as tabletops. For that reason, high-quality plywood is often chosen within the furniture industry for these applications, as it offers more stability over time. We finish this material with a refined teak veneer to maintain a warm and natural appearance.
That said, we understand that this may not have been clear enough in the product presentation, and we are already reviewing how we can communicate this more clearly.
