extremely disappointed don’t hire them
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Consumer Law Group handling my husband’s detained immigration case. We paid thousands of dollars and provided all requested documentation promptly. Throughout the process, communication was extremely difficult. We repeatedly had to call for updates, and I often did not even know who was actually handling his case.
What frustrated me the most was the constant focus on payments. I was repeatedly contacted and asked for additional money, yet my husband, who was detained and desperately waiting to speak privately with his attorney about his case, did not receive the attorney communication we expected. He kept waiting for a private attorney call that never came.
Most importantly, the attorney we were told would represent him did not appear as we expected at the critical court hearing. His bond was denied, he ultimately accepted removal, and he is now in ICE custody in Louisiana awaiting deportation to Brazil.
I understand that no immigration attorney can guarantee a particular result, and my complaint is not simply that his case was unsuccessful. My complaint is about the level of communication, preparation, attention, and representation we received after paying this firm thousands of dollars. From my experience, I felt that collecting payments received far more attention than communicating with my detained husband and our family about his case.
This has been an extremely serious and life-changing situation for our family. Based on my personal experience, I would not hire this firm again.

I was called in to help a recent widow who fell behind in her payments due to the loss of her husband.
These unscrupulous syndicate took several thousands of dollars from the widow and almost lost her her house.
They claim to be licensed in New Jersey
We asked to see their license but never received it.
These operators have been reported to the Bar assoc. of Florida & New Jersey .

I strongly urge anyone considering this law firm to look elsewhere. They make grand promises to take your money, but they do not deliver on the most basic professional responsibilities.
Financial Exploitation: We were quoted $16,000 for two cases. After paying the initial consultation and a $2,000 retainer for each case, the "beautiful words" and promises made by the attorney on the phone vanished.
I spent hours gathering paperwork and emailing it to them, only to be harassed by automated texts and emails days later asking for the same documents. They never acknowledged receipt of my files.
You cannot speak to your attorney or even a paralegal. Every time I called, I spoke to a different person and had to explain the entire situation from scratch. I was repeatedly told I would get a call back, but those calls never came.
On the day of the immigration hearing, my nephew’s lawyers were not prepared. Most shockingly, the attorneys failed to submit on time the required paperwork to the judge and the immigration officer, The Immigration officer asked the attorney which email address that she used and kept given him the wrong email address he then had to stop the attorney by saying you're repeating yourself with the wrong email address when I just finished giving you my correct email, he was willing to take a look of the paperwork while the court was going on.
They explicitly promised that if a deportation order was issued, they would appeal at no extra cost. This was a lie. As soon as the order was issued, they demanded more money to do the work they already promised to cover.
This firm is unprofessional and useless. Do not waste your money or risk your family's future with them.
