I rarely leave one-star reviews, but my experience with Beliani has been one of the worst I've ever had.

My 4,000 Euro order was mishandled from start to finish. Beliani missed the agreed delivery date twice, despite repeatedly confirming the appointments. Because of their failures, my delivery was delayed by nearly an entire month, forcing us to rearrange our schedules and take unnecessary time off work.

Customer service was equally disappointing. They were slow to respond, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving the issues they created.

To make matters worse, I paid €160 for their assembly service. The installers were shockingly unprofessional. I spent the rest of the day correcting their mistakes because several items had been assembled incorrectly. They even asked for 50 euros each (in cash) to remove the boxes, otherwise they wouldn't.

The most serious issue involved the cantilever umbrella. It was assembled so poorly that it became unstable, eventually broke, and nearly injured my young nephew. We provided Beliani with detailed photos, videos, and a full explanation of what happened, yet they refused to accept any responsibility. They also refused to replace the product or provide a refund, they simply wanted to give us store credit as if we would ever get anything from them.

When a company makes repeated delivery mistakes, provides poor customer service, performs unsafe assembly work, and then refuses to stand behind its products and services, it leaves customers with very few options.

I have now filed a dispute with my credit card company and will let them handle the matter.

I cannot recommend Beliani to anyone based on my experience.

We are so happy with our chair from Beliani, it’s very comfortable and works exactly as advertised. My wife needed a recliner after her back surgery so this was perfect best thing it also helps her get up as it leans forward too. But the best best thing is it’s soooo easy to put together fits like a Lego which is so awesome. Maybe need another one for me ;-). Thank you

There was an issues with the item I ordered, but the after sales service was great and the compensated with a nice present.

The item smelled like horrible chemicals and it took a ton of effort to get it send back. the customer service does not want to cooperate to return items.

Purchased this great quality storage bench, which I'm using for multiple purposes. Its large storage area holds multiple blankets and pillows, with room to spare. I use it as a foot stool (covering the top with a light blanket), a coffee table (using a serving tray), and spare seating at my dining table when I have extra guests. It serves all purposes perfectly and looks beautiful doing it. Delivery was fast, the bench was fully assembled (except for small feet) and it was very carefully packaged. Love it!

What scammers, never again ordering from here. i placed my order on 31.03 and while it was supposed to arrive in 2-3 working days, it's been over a week and half now and there's no trace of the order

At first I was a bit hesitant about this company because of the mixed reviews, but I am so so happy with the order and product quality! Very satisfied, good communication and amazing prices. Very fast delivery too!

Ordered a chair from Beliani.nl expecting decent quality, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish.

First, despite ordering from a .nl website, the delivery took a full week, which already felt slow for something I assumed shipped within the Netherlands.

The bigger problem, however, is the build quality and engineering of the chair itself.

During assembly it became clear that the design tolerances are poor. The armrests do not align properly with the backrest, leaving visible gaps and uneven connections. Even after tightening everything carefully, the parts simply don’t sit flush, which makes the chair look poorly manufactured.

Another issue is the small plastic screw covers that are supposed to finish the look. These do not stay in place and keep falling out, which makes the chair look unfinished and cheap.

Overall the chair feels like a product where appearance was prioritized over proper engineering and quality control. For the price, I expected much better fit and finish.

Buying directly from this store is an incredibly frustrating experience. The website is fundamentally broken; essential buttons simply do not work, even after trying four different web browsers. It's impossible to track your order, and there is no true guest checkout—even though I paid via Apple Pay, the site still forced an account creation without my consent. It is a complete mess and a terrible user experience. I highly recommend avoiding their direct website. It’s a real shame, because the mattress I previously bought from them through a third-party marketplace is actually nice.

Now I have no idea where my furniture is or when it will arrive. I paid for a service, but all I got was a headache. Why is this treated like a normal thing?
