I tried booking a hotel room 5 or 6…
I tried booking a hotel room 5 or 6 times thru Agoda (via Trivago...at two different times). Every time I reached the payment section and started putting in my credit card details....it suddenly said "Sorry! Someone else has just booked that room!" and then pushed me to a more expensive room. ie...I very strongly suspect they never had the room available at the cheaper price and were simply using the low price as a form of bait to get me onto their site. Low-grade scammers I believe, and rather disappointed Trivago is pushing traffic their way.

Very good experience
Very good experience.
Price was better than booking.com, but you can still do better as trip.com had cheaper deals. I only booked with you because you are shopping partners of British Airways, thus I am able to collect AVIOS points on my booking.
Will definitely recommend & use again in future. 👍

I have been booking and changing to…
I have been booking and changing to better hotel on Agoda site now for past few months. I have had no problems or any issues so far. Also Sometimes they have good coupon deals which seems reasonable for the hotel stay .

As expected
As expected, terrible service from Agoda. They forced me to cancel my reservation because of a broken window. Here’s how Trip.com handled a similar cancellation:

Despite our repeated efforts to negotiate with the hotel, including requesting them to arrange alternative rooms, we were unfortunately unable to secure your stay there in the original room type.
Additionally, as a sincere gesture of our apology for the inconvenience and disruption caused to your travel plans, we would like to offer you:
4560 Trip Coins (valued at approximately USD 45). The Trip Coins will be reflected in your Trip.com account within 24 hours of your acceptance and will remain valid for 18 months. These coins can be used toward future bookings for hotels, flights, or any other products and services on Trip.com.

They do not honor their cancellation policies. They will write that cancellation is possible at the owner's discretion. Very shady.

Dates are changing when you book
I’ve already reported it: when I select dates (i. e. 20-26.10), it searches for them, but when I go to a hotel page, it changes the dates to 20-25.10. I made a booking to the wrong dates because of that, good that it was with free cancellation. I had to book the same hotel on a different service because of that
