I struggled on Fiverr for about 2 months trying to nail down a new logo and I couldn't find someone that had the creativity to design something. Part of the issue is I didn't know exactly what I was searching for. Thats why 99designs was perfect for me. Within 1 week, I had seen over 100 different concepts for a new logo. I choose my favorite and the revision process with the winning designer was fantastic. For anybody struggling to create a logo for their company, 99designs is the way to go.

No skills AI designer easiest make money. I don’t even have Photoshop installed, but 99designs is my goldmine because there is zero limit on entries—I can spam and submit unlimited AI designs to the same contest! I just type words into an AI tool, generate 50 flat images in minutes, and flood the client's inbox.

My best win was entering a strict "No-AI" contest—I used AI secretly anyway, and neither the client nor 99designs' vetting system noticed anything! I won the prize money so easily and I'm so happy.

If you want an easy online side hustle without learning any real design software, this platform is the absolute best! Thank you 99designs!

I received over 1,750 entries to my design a logo contest, which was totally unexpected. The ability to see lots of ideas from hundreds of graphic designers is unparalleled. I paid the basic package but I would highly recommend upgrading to a blind contest, as it prevents designers from seeing and copying one another's work. You'll get more originality. Also, I made the mistake of rating logos I liked from the get-go, ultimately I then had hundreds of 'similar' designs as designers had noted my preferences, then I received a bunch of complaints from designers saying 'so and so' had copied their work. It was a lot, I just wanted a logo, so be warned, go for a blind contest or at the very least don't rate the entries until the second round, when you've selected your six finalists. I am very happy with my logo. Job done.

The speed of response was amazingly fast. The designers are talented and helpful.

I am a returning customer, and I had a good experience on 99designs in the past. For this competition, the designer made very slight changes to the design we liked, adjusting colors and combining concepts from his different submissions. We were happy with his work and asked if, once selected as the winner, we would receive the colored version in EPS format along with the other files. He confirmed that we would. However, after we chose him as the winner, he only sent us the selected file and asked us to reach out to him to pay for the additional files. He should have been upfront about this from the beginning, and had he been, we probably would have chosen a different winner.

This site is full of AI slop designers now. It doesn't seem like there is any vetting if someone is an actual designer.

You definitely would not want to lose him to any competition nor to any other company, period!

Hang on to him, 99designs, as it is literally because of the exceptional customer service I just got that I asked Jeffrey B. if I could speak to a manager to give him a wonderful review and he said that I would receive this link to do so so I'm doing this just minutes after speaking with him.

It's because of him that I plan to use 99designs again, God willing, and I also plan to tell others about this company as it was recommended to me by a friend!

If you want high quality design by real people avoid this platform, it pushed us behind on our launch date and consequently ruined a lot of the joy of starting a new brand. Do not recommend

I Paid 650€ / 760$ for one of the packages, later on I realized all the designs I got in the contest were AI generated, brought it up to customer service and the “solution” was to pick another one of the AI designers.

I worked on 99designs for over five years and, during that time, built a strong track record on the platform. I won 35 design contests, completed 15 direct projects, and consistently received 5-star reviews from clients. I took pride in delivering quality work and maintaining good relationships with every client I collaborated with.

Unfortunately, my experience ended on a very disappointing note. My account was suddenly closed without any clear or valid explanation. I reached out to support multiple times, asking for clarification or at least some indication of what might have led to this decision, but I never received a meaningful response.

After years of dedication and proven performance, this lack of transparency and communication is frustrating and discouraging. It raises concerns about how designers are treated and supported on the platform.

Based on my experience, I would caution other designers to think carefully before investing significant time and effort here. While it may seem like a good opportunity initially, the lack of accountability in situations like this makes it a risky long-term platform.

A model of competitive contest brings out the best in designers

We wanted a t-shirt designed for an Ultimate Frisbee team (not a business - just some friends playing amateur sport!) Put up our brief, and started soliciting designs, and quickly got designers (who submitted REALLY bland, boring, flat designs, btw) reporting us and other designers for asking for a 'logo.' Every example on their 't-shirt design' page had complicated designs with graphics and art, but Customer Service gave us very conflicting information that said we could not have any graphical elements. Evidently this is very common where poor designers complain and moan about t-shirt design including 'logos' if it has ANY kind of art with it. So ridiculous. In what world would anyone bother to spend hundreds of bucks on a t-shirt design that can only have text?

In the end, we told them whatever they wanted and kept working with the designers who put actual work into the design. Thankfully we got 2 very good designs to choose from (and a BUNCH of garbage) from designers who understood what we were looking for - and we ignored whatever nonsense the reports were about. If their policies and customer service are so unclear once you've already paid them, there's NO WAY i would ever risk my money working with them again. Arbitrary application of policies and conflicting information - just don't take the risk. Your money and time are worth too much.
