My experience with VOVIA has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

I was allowed to purchase a bag that was actually out of stock, yet I wasn’t informed until 10 days later, and only after I contacted customer support myself. Instead of shipping my order, I was told the bag would not be available for another month and was asked to choose a different bag.

This is simply unacceptable. If an item is out of stock, it should be clearly marked as unavailable instead of allowing customers to purchase it.

After several days of back-and-forth communication, they finally agreed to issue a full refund. However, they offered no compensation for the inconvenience, and they didn’t even provide a refund confirmation or transaction/reference number, so I have no way of tracking when or if my money will arrive.

Their customer service was slow, unprofessional, and failed to take responsibility for their mistake. I would not recommend buying from this company based on my experience.

I left the following review on their website, and they later contacted me, offering either a full refund if I returned the bag or a free replacement bag. I asked if I would have to cover the return shipping costs, as it would be really expensive. They confirmed that I would, and suggested that I simply choose another bag instead. I really don’t need another cheap, Made-in-China bag, as I already have one that I paid for. Also, they deleted my review from their website:

"The bag is nice, but for the price, I expected much better quality. The metal hardware is disappointing - the gold finish started wearing off in some areas on the very first day. The stitching is also quite visible, and overall, the bag looks a bit cheap."

Extremely disappointed with my experience. My order was returned to the sender due to a shipping issue, and despite contacting customer support, I still haven’t received any response. It’s frustrating to be left without any information or solution while my order is no longer on its way. I expected much better customer service and communication.

About a month ago I was looking for a birthday gift and chose one of their woven designs. I had a few questions about size and fabric, so I filled out the contact form on their site. I received a reply within a few hours. The package arrived in about 10 days, which was faster than I'd expected. My friend was really happy with it and mentioned the weave looks even nicer in person than online.

About two months ago I ordered this woven bag after seeing it on Instagram. I honestly didn't expect much because I've been let down by online purchases before. When it arrived roughly 10 days later, the weave was actually more intricate than the product photos suggested. The gold hardware had decent weight to it too. I've used it almost daily since and the stitching is still intact with no fading on the metal parts.

Ordered on May 27th and didn't receive my bag until 3 weeks later because the package was returned to sender due to a "package size issue" on their end and had to be reshipped. Already a frustrating start.

When the bag finally arrived, it wasn't what I expected so I requested a return, well within their 30-day window. Instead of following their own published return policy, they tried to talk me out of it by offering a 30% refund, claiming return shipping would cost $25–30 because I'm "outside the EU." I'm in Germany. They're in the Netherlands. We're both in the EU.

Their return policy clearly states full refunds to the original payment method with no mention of partial refunds or extra fees for EU customers. What they're doing is misleading customers into accepting less than they're entitled to.

Avoid if you're not prepared to fight for a basic return.

I bought the Ciara Vintage Coffee as a birthday gift for my sister and she loved it immediately. The color looked beautiful and the bag felt much more premium than I expected. She’s already used it several times and said it’s easy to style with both work outfits and casual clothes!

Order went very smooth. ordered the canvas version because I wanted something a bit lighter and more casual for daytime. It’s such an easy bag to wear. It feels relaxed, but still polished enough for work or lunch.The canvas and details make it look a little different from the usual bags you see everywhere, which I really like!!

I bought the Ciara Essential mainly because I needed a work bag that could fit my laptop without looking like an actual laptop bag. This one does exactly that. It fits my laptop, charger, wallet, keys and a few daily things, but still looks elegant.I’ve been using it for work almost every day and it honestly makes getting dressed easier. It goes with everything. By the way, delivered in 8 days!

After a few weeks of using this bag, the color still works with my clothes and the shape hasn't changed. I think I'll keep reaching for it - not just for one season.

Order went smoothly. The canvas bag feels relaxed, polished, and a bit different. Just right.

Impossible to get your money back if you want to send the item back.
Have to send it to China, pay for it yourself and then ask for the money back.
Do not recommend. Dishonest sellers!

I bought a bag worth over $100, but I never received it. I even reached out to them multiple times. They tried to comfort me with kind words, but they didn’t take any action to resolve the issue.

that started cracking after only 3 uses. Clear manufacturing defect. When I contacted VOVIA, they refused a full refund, claiming their internal '30-day policy' overrides European law. This is a scam. According to EU Directive 2019/771, they are obliged to provide a 2-year guarantee. They are registered in the Netherlands but ship low-quality goods from China and refuse to follow EU trade regulations. Avoid this shop if you don't want to waste your money on garbage."

Lastly a fashionable bag that will not hurt animals or my wallet. Win win in my book.

Lastly, I have also found a stylish vegan bag, which provides me with the luxurious experience without feeling guilty about wearing animal leather. I am in the midst of enjoying my purchase to the fullest!

The bag looks great and arrived in perfect condition. Would recommend, especially for everyday use.

Clean, modern and spacious. That's the kind of quality you want to buy more of.

Really happy with the quality, feels quite premium. Definitely worth it for the price.

Frankly speaking was not anticipating such a nice texture with a sustainable bag. It looks so good to the workmanship.
