I don't know how there are so many positive reviews. The flights are SO MUCH more expensive than in other platforms. I got a voucher gift and if find it very difficult to spend because it's so expensive that what I save with the voucher is eaten by the high price. As example, I am looking at a flight right now that costs 220€ directly with Easyjet and it costs 351€ in the platform. It's a +50% difference. It's crazy. How am I supposed to use a 100€ voucher? It's a waste of money.

Je comprends tout à fait votre question, et la comparaison qui est faite, comme c'est très habituel de le faire dès qu'on organise un voyage.
Nous ne nous affirmons pas comme étant le comparateur de vol le moins cher du marché, et sommes d'ailleurs une agence de voyage et pas qu'un comparateur. En ce sens, nous veillons plutôt à vous apporter une qualité de service qui n'est pas habituelle sur ce marché (ex : service client très réactif comme vous pouvez le voir, et très disponible, enregistrement en ligne géré par nous si vous le souhaitez possible, possibilité de payer de façons diverses).
Le prix que nous affichons au moment de la recherche reste le même jusqu'au moment de l'achat (à part bien sûr si vous souhaitez ajouter des bagages ou assurances). Ceci est un engagement que nous avons et que nous tenons ! Les tarifs des vols dépendent de nos fournisseurs et des partenariats négociés, et ne peuvent pas toujours être au plus bas, notamment parce que nous ne sommes encore qu'une start-up et pas du tout un gros du monde du tourisme. Enfin, pour avoir de vrais humains qui prennent soin de vous à tout moment, cela nécessite aussi bien sûr de leur verser un salaire, et explique une partie des commissions sur chaque réservation 🙂
J'espère que cela vous éclairera un petit peu, et reste disponible en cas de questions supplémentaires.
PS : d'autres comparateurs annoncent un prix aguicheur, mais au fur et à mesure de l'avancement dans les étapes, le prix augmente, voire le paiement est refusé dans un premier temps puis le prix est recalculé avant que vous repassiez à la caisse. Ce sont des choses très énervantes quand on est prêts à réserver nos vols, et qui n'arrivent pas chez Ulysse.

Really do not trust this site. We booked our flight two weeks in advance, and we were informed the second half of our flight was cancelled two days before departure. We specified our constraints to ask for any adaption to the flight , and at 11am on a Saturday morning we were told the best they can do is MAYBE get us a different flight for the next day, Sunday. Ulysse has no phone line and there is no way to contact them. We received no update or response from Ulysse to confirm the new flight for the entire Saturday and have lost thousands in euros on missed connecting flights and trains and Ulysse has still not refunded us or replied to anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, all this company will do is give you a headache ! We will never use them again and I will make sure to advise anyone I meet to never use their services.

The cancellation was from Air Algerie airline.
We managed to rebook you for free with the airline, as fast as possible, and it was challenging because this airline is a hell of a customer service, unfortunately.
I did my best, personnaly, to act as quick as possible, during the last week end.
I also managed to rebook you for free on your other booking, with Lyft Airlines, which was not that obvious at first, and it is a good news.

I’m giving 1 star only because zero isn’t an option.
I purchased a €150 gift card, and it simply does not work on the website. I tried using it at least 30 times without success. On the one occasion it seemed to work, the page glitched and wouldn’t let me complete the payment for the remaining balance.
Customer support DOESN'T EXIST —they don’t even provide a phone number. I reached out via their assistance channel and never received any response. THEY NEVER COMEBACK.
IT IS A SCAM. I lost my money.

Stellar customer support (had to cancel the tickets last minute due to medical urgency)
I bought tickets quite a few times, using "chèques vacances" with no issues whatsoever. The customer support department is stellar.
I had a medical urgency 15h hours before my last trip - which is outside even their cancellation insurances, and outside of the cancellation window of the air company. I couldn't use any of the automated forms.
I contacted the customer support via email to cancel it. They answered five minutes later, and after sending a medical document, they managed to get a voucher for the full price of the plane tickets.

We answer very quickly to all passengers' requests, 7 days a week, within one hour in average.
Something that no airline is able to do that.

I also recommend you to contact us at least 48h before the flights, so we can have enough time to contact the airline and try to modify.
Anyway, in this case, it was impossible, because your tickets were non changeable/non refundable, as I mentionned before.

Strong disappointment
This is such a disappointment! Prices are much higher than through the airlines which is explained by the service provided but every single thing is extra, like option to exchange your ticket or to choose your seat. There is no way to select the type of seat (economy or premium) and the website is really defective.

Finally, to have real humans who take care of you at all times, this also of course requires paying them a salary, and explains part of the commissions on each reservation :)
Nota Bene: other comparators announce an attractive price, but as you progress through the stages, the price increases, or even payment is refused at first then the price is recalculated before you go back to checkout . These are very annoying things when we are ready to book our flights, and which do not arrive at Ulysse.

Bought the tickets from Ulysse as they accept "chèques vacances".
Everything is smooth until that large carrier canceled our Friday return flight and proposed a return next late Monday evening, i.e. 3 days after (!). While it was impossible to reach out that carrier, Ulysse tried their best to modify the return flight. Ulysse's staff were proactive and kept updating us on possible flights (by emails). They finally managed to put us on a flight very early Monday morning (without extra fees). No need to take an extra day off for nothing. Really appreciated their swift reaction, communication and ability to modify the new return.

Great service. Super quick response even outside official support hours.
I had a flight cancelled by the company and they rescheduled me another one in less than 30 minutes.
I was usually reluctant to book through an intermediate site because of the usual complications regarding the flight company policies (they can't move your flight or anything, they ask you to contact the site you booked through).
First time I had such a great experience with an intermediate with an immediate response and action ( they booked me another flight within the hour).
Very nice customer service. I highly recommend them.

We are a travel agency with an extremely fast and personalized service for all our customers, where flight comparators (which we are not) do not offer any of this.
The prices are indeed higher on our site because we don't offer hotels, car rentals and all the other services where the comparators and other sites make their money.
We place ourselves as a premium offer where our main point is the service provided by the customer service in case of glitch (or even advice, modification...). We fully understand however that you are not willing to pay for a trip that you will find cheaper elsewhere. While knowing that we obviously cannot sell airline tickets at the same price or cheaper than on the airlines' websites.

Too expensive! Prices are around 20-25% more expensive than on other platforms.
EDIT to your reply, dear Ulysse: you are NOT a travel agency. You do not organize activities, nor accommodations, or provide guiding of any sort. You don't manage change of flights for the account of the customer if needed. You only provide comparisons of flights AND add a ridiculous high price to pay for you supposedly great customer service and cute designed website. So you are indeed just a flight comparator with a 25% margin on tickets. Which in my opinion is a really bad business model.
Evolve or die because the market is the market and it will show you when you make mistake. Listen to your users.
PS: 10 days to reply to a review is NOT responsiveness.
