Having a pet with serious illness is very stressful. Trupanion’s fast service and payment to the veterinary service has been the one thing that has been easy.

Trupanion really came through for me. Great insurance! Very customer oriented staff. I am very Happy with the ending payment, they came through for us.

I have made 2 claims in matter of 1 day. And Trupanion didn’t blink twice abt covering. And I havnt even made my first payment yet! They took little to no time for approval. It’s nice to feel covered.

We are so thankful we have Trupanion. Our puppy Ginger had an injury that from day one was not cheap and all the follow ups after were costly as well. From wound cleaning to scans and pain meds. Trupanion has been there every step of the way. The claims were mostly easy to enter on the app, we did run into some claim form submission issues that delayed payment, but working with the staff to get this corrected was a simple and quick process. A big Appreciation and Thank you to the Trupanion team. Thank you for calling our puppy Ginger by her name each time we talked, thank you for expressing empathy for our baby girl and thank you for seeing that she's a little life that matters. Keep up the good work. You all are making a difference. What you do matters! Thank You!

I never should have signed up for the "complimentary" 1 month offer provided by the breeder I bought my puppy from. Trupanion charges a $35.00 enrollment fee AFTER you've already been enrolled a month under the "complimentary" offer and they will not refund the fee if you fail to cancel the policy before the expiration of the "complimentary" month. No exceptions. I called to cancel after seeing the monthly charge on my credit card a few days after the "complimentary" month passed. The charge was almost twice as much as I recall being told it would be. I asked for a full refund of the amount I was charged and was told it would be processed in a couple of days. A couple of days later I received an email stating my refund was processed but it was for about half of what I was charged! When I called again I was told the enrollment fee is non-refundable and the monthly charge was prorated for 4 days. I was NEVER told I would not be refunded any amount when I called to cancel. I was told my request for a full refund would be processed, but it wasn't and they have refused to do so. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH TRUPANION!!!

Easy to file claims, although my Vet does not accept payment straight from Trupanion. They still reviewed claim quickly and sent payment directly to me along with the EOB's. I was impressed.

Trupanion is very easy to submit a claim with, they process them quickly, customer service is kind & available all hours, the 90% coverage is great. Had Trupanion for my last two dogs and will sign up again when I’m ready for a new fur baby in my life.

My cat was 8 weeks old when I adopted him and the vet mentioned the insurance. It sounded like a good idea to me. I questioned the decision to have it as it was never being used as he had no issues. He has issues now at 13 and I am very glad I made the decision to get it and keep it. Claims are paid very quickly!! It’s a relief to know it’s there now and I can move forward with my cat’s veterinary treatment plan.

With all of my concern wrapped up in Clyde's wellbeing, having my bill taken care of on the spot was such a relief. I was able to concentrate on what was really important, my little man. Thank you Trupanion.

Trupanion made things simple and easy. Our vet specialist's office was able to work directly with them in submitting claims. I will return to Trupanion in the future.

Fast and easy on my first claim. I am pleased. The process was so much simpler than I expected. I had my expectations set low because this policy is supposed to be a comfort and I didn't want to be stressed about what would be covered. They covered more than what I expected.

I was very pleased that trupanion covered most the cost of my vet bill..I am so happy to have this company serving my pets health needs. The payment process was very quick and easy in which they paid the vet directly. I am very satisfied that I chose trupanion for my pets health insurance.

I had some questions about enrolment and the support person helped get my account updated and corrected. We already processed to vet bills . Thank you so much for excellent service and communication.

I am considering canceling. Any issues Sam has are not covered other than his seizure medication which is less than his monthly premium. I am a retired Veterinarian and I paid for food for allergies for an indigent client. So Sam is listed as having alllergies in his history, which his doesn't have and if he gets an ear infection from the groomer getting water in his ears it is not covered. I can afford a 2 or 3 K bill and I would not put him through excessive treatment. So the cost of coverage is not worth the long term cost of premiums.

So disappointed!!!! At 3 months old my puppy ate a leaf that upset her stomach (we went to the vet and were told to monitor her) and then a couple weeks later she ate some deer poop that gave her diarrhea. We mentioned that to the vet since we were there for her vaccinations. Now she will never be covered for eating anything foreign (Dietary Indiscretion -
Foreign Body Ingestion) for the rest of her life. That seems totally unreasonable. I would agree to a time frame to see if the behaviour continues but to outright say NO for the rest of her life to something that occurred while she was a puppy is awful. Trupanion also has urinary incontinence as something they will monitor since it is listed at a vet visit at 3 months of age. She wasn't fully trained!

My dog had a grade 4 dislocated knee. He had surgery Tuesday, VCA Specialty Hospital filed a pre-approval and by Wednesday, the claim had been paid to them. My portion was minute! Thank you so much for being so efficient!
