I was very very hesitant to make a purchase due to some of the reviews. But I took a chance. Ordering was easy and very economical. I ordered 6 English Roseum Rhododendrons. They arrived just now, and the packaging could not have been better. Each plant was secure: no lost leaves, no brown leaves, no soil everywhere. I was shocked. The plants are super healthy and moist. I will be ordering from them again. I am simply thrilled with the purchase. FYI I live in Virginia zone 7.

delivery and trees are fine...but I don't like these annoying emails where you ask if I received my order but actually you trick me into writing this review. also I don't like how default includes insurance and a subscription plan and how the coupon discount suddenly disappears at check out and has to be entered again.

Even though the tree could look better, not so puny, the delivery was prompt and communication was good. Also, extra perks was given to me.

The ferns arrived on time and appeared to be packaged nicely. However, they have a small amount of dead and broken frowns, which would be okay if they weren’t a bit on the scrawny side.

I had the worst customer experience in my entire life with this company. They sent me dead/dying trees and I had to negotiate hard for close to 4 months just to get a partial resolution. They lied and denied to me over and over.
Couple of points I garnered from my experience and communications with them.
1. They are not a nursery but a jobber that buys from undisclosed nurseries and lets the nursery ship out what ever crap they want in their Logoed Shipping Container.
2. The crap trees they replaced were replaced with more crap trees.
3. They have no real experience in horticulture; they are strictly marketers.
4. I replaced all three of the dead plants they sent me at a local big box store for less than what they reimbursed me for one dead plant. They are not unique in their product offerings and are way overpriced.
5. When you check out they automatically add products, services, etc. into your cart that you have to manually remove. Big Red Flag

I purchased a Japanese small 4 foot tree from the tree center after seeing pics online of beautiful healthy trees. Well that wasn't the tree I received. It had tiny holes in the leaves that looked like bug eaten holes and some curled dry leaves. I contacted the company and after being required to take multiple pics, their customer Support said it was from the wind...BS...then told me to take more pics a few weeks later, then said take more pics of whole plant which I was doing. They are playing games and not putting a claim in and that tree is looking more withered...I would never buy from this company again and would never recommend anyone buying from this company.

The shipping box was pretty well smashed at the top but the tree branches were intact. I knew I made a mistake by asking for delivery in the middle of July - too hot. Will have to see how it takes hold. It is planted in a shady area, so I am hoping for the best. Tree itself looked great except that some of the leaves were curled from the heat. Thanks

Extremely easy process from the order to delivery. Beautiful plants arrived sooner than expected.

We found what we were looking for and placed a order for them. They are great shape and in the ground at my house.

Very disappointed with my experience with The Tree Center. I ordered a Plum Pudding plant on June 15, 2026, but the plant I received did not look anything like the plant pictured in my order history or the product I paid for.

I contacted customer service immediately and provided photos of the plant I received, along with comparison photos of other Plum Pudding plants I own that match the advertised appearance. Despite this evidence, I was told that I would have to pay to ship the plant back if I wanted a refund. I do not believe customers should be responsible for return shipping when the wrong item is sent by the seller.

After waiting about 2 week for a response, the company insisted that the plant they sent was a Plum Pudding. Based on its appearance, I strongly disagree. Unfortunately, rather than working toward a fair resolution, they expected me to incur additional costs to correct their mistake.

I would have been willing to return the plant if they had provided a prepaid shipping label or reimbursed the shipping costs. Instead, I was left with a product that was not as described and no satisfactory resolution. Buyers should be aware of this return policy before ordering.

Good, quality stock packaged so the orders arrive in excellent condition. Good plant warranty and excellent customer service.

Great notifications and products came when they were supposed to

I am very happy with the product choices, and extremely happy with the plant/cypress that I received. And the shipping and delivery were also top quality.

I should have know when a company requires a “guarantee of replacement” as an option at checkout! Only 5 of our 12 trees survived the first season and the company will not do anything! HORRIBLE company policy!!

Everything was fine other than the timeline. The plants appear to be ok and are in the ground. I ordered 6 cherry trees from another company and they arrived 5 days earlier than 2 plants. There was a delay between order confirmation and arrival that exceeded the 2-3 business days on the website. It's not a game changer for me for this order, but if I or someone else was counting on prompt service I would personally hesitate to use this company again.

Easy to order online, and the trees were absolutely beautiful!

My plants arrived in very good condition. Box on one end was a little damaged but no issue with contents.
