I purchased two colonies from them during their sale. These were a huge goniopora colony as well as a massive wall hammer colony. Both arrived in wonderful condition. Highly recommend them!

My 6th order in 6 months

My 6th order in 6 months. Not all have gone smoothly however Reef Geeks makes it right. Impressed with excellent customer service. That means just as much as the product to me. Thank you.

Not so great first impression.

Well firstly I’d like to say that the picture of the torch was very misleading as well as the name. Picture displayed a decently colored gold/green torch with pink tips but it’s very dull with blue tips. It was labeled as a rapunzel but is only a dragon tamer which ended up being a waste of money as I overpaid and already had that in my possession. The indophyllia still hasn't opened in my tank so I’m not entirely sure it was healthy before it shipped. Definitely a bit dissatisfied with my first experience.

Raising the Bar

I honestly can say I have never been more happy with the quality of their corals, the exceptional packing and shipping of the corals, and the customer service team that goes above and beyond to ensure every customer isn’t just happy with their corals, but will happily be coming back to purchase more from their selection healthy corals . Like most reefers in the community we blindly throw our hard earned money at these online stores hoping we made the right choice, I too am part of that community. I’ve purchased several times from Reef Geeks and each time my order arrived on time and carefully packaged so that everything inside was protected and kept healthy for the trip to your door step. Reef Geeks are continuing to raise the bar for other online coral stores in my opinion, and I will continue to trust them with any and all future Reefing needs. Thank you for reading and HAPPY REEFING 🪸

Shipping...

There was some shipping confusion on date but that was my fault. When the coral arrived the frag was just sitting in a bag no type of "holder" at all even my LFS puts then in a plastic holder for a 3 minute drive so im assuming it was just bouncing around in shipping, going on week two the zoas I ordered are still hardly opening. All other coral in my tank are thriving. Which I wont put on them, but the shipping condition would definitely prevent me from ordering more.

The Goni garden was less than what I…

The Goni garden was less than what I expected. Two of the tiny gonis were unglued from the small main rock and sustained damage from bouncing around in the unprotected environment in the bag.
It was not what I ordered and was a substitute piece. Not what I’m used to after the two previous orders.

I got back into reefing when I…

I got back into reefing when I discovered this shop in Chula Vista. I’ve made attempts at it throughout the past 5 years but failed. Now that this shop is local to me I’ve found new success. I’ve been at the shop multiple times since they opened. The guys in there are very knowledgeable and very helpful. On top of that they’re Veterans!
Needless to say my coral have survived and thrived with the help and support of these guys. They have a variety of corals. Their display tanks are very inspirational. They are very responsible when comes to shipping. I was there when they were packaging and the care for these coral was exceptional! I recommend everyone to take a look.
