Simplicity of process.

Slow claim process. Claims take 2 weeks to complete unlike other insurance companies like Trupanion which takes only 1-2 days

The website was easy to understand as was the claims process. I was reimbursed within a week of filing my claim. I am very happy with the claims process and the quick reimbursement. I highly recommend SPOT pet insurance for your precious fur babies.

I switched from Trupanion Pet Insurance to Spot Pet Insurance and I couldn't be happier. Spot is so very responsive and easy to work with.

Easy to put in claim for well check for our cat.

Had two claims the same day. The first one was processed in just a few hours. The second one has not been completed yet. I am being told it could take up to two weeks. Seems a little long to be completed.

The amount of benefits you get for the price is amazing! Making claims is super easy and the whole process is very fast! I've gotten refunds a few days after making a claim. I definitely recommend Spot insurance for your pets!

When our dog need a cardiac ultrasound, we contacted Spot Pet Insurance right away with our claim. The process to file the claim was very easy.

We appreciate how quickly they responded to our claim and had the claim check delivered to us even before we received the monthly credit card bill! So, we had the money I hand to pay off the entire bill (our deductible portion + the claim reimbursement amount) right away.

I would only give 2 stars. I have always been with Nationwide with my other dog, but they had decreased their coverage last year, so I was looking for a new company. Upon researching, most places ranked SPOT very highly. I think Nationwide is still better. Even with decreased coverage, it is still much better than SPOT. They are a little more expensive up front, but in the end you get more back. Also, they don't take weeks to get your money back to you, usually only a day or two, which is a very big deal if you end up having to pay credit card rate interest on a vet bill while waiting for your refund.

So far not even close to worth the cost. We had an incident with her eating a bunch of chocolate, and had emergency vet services that total almost $400. We got reimbursed for only $70. I thought emergencies was what this insurance was for. May be cancelling.

all I had to do is send a photo of my bill and a couple days later they came back and said okay we’re sending you a check! It was the easiest process ever i’m so glad I had insurance it literally just payed for itself in one vet visit
