⭐ 1 star only because I cannot give 0.
I have had an extremely disappointing experience with this company.
I submitted my flight compensation claim with them on 5 September 2025. Almost a year later, my claim is still showing the same status, with no meaningful progress and no clear explanation.
During this time, I contacted them multiple times asking for updates. I received only a couple of replies, telling me that they were “working hard” on my claim. However, after almost 12 months, I am still in exactly the same position.
What concerns me even more is that, because I had already been waiting for such a long time, I contacted another claims company to see if they could help me. I was told that my claim had apparently already been withdrawn by this company.
This has raised serious concerns for me. If my claim was withdrawn, I want to know when, why, and who authorised the withdrawal. If they have already received the compensation from the airline on my behalf, I also want to know where my money is and why I have not received it.
I have been patient for almost a year, but the lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable.
I have now submitted a formal complaint and requested full documentation regarding my claim, including any communication with the airline and confirmation of whether any money has been received on my behalf.
If I do not receive a satisfactory explanation, I will consider escalating the matter through the appropriate regulatory, dispute resolution and legal channels.
Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend this company. Waiting almost a year with virtually no communication is simply not acceptable.

I have been waiting for my compensation for two years, and Skycop has still not paid or provided any clear information.
My claim was submitted in September 2024.
Skycop informed me in February 2026 that the airline had agreed to compensate.
All requested documents were submitted and confirmed as complete in April 2026.
Since then, Skycop has sent only generic template replies such as “we will prioritize your payment” or “we are working to resolve the issue.” They have never provided:
- a payout date,
- confirmation whether they received the funds from the airline,
- an explanation for the delay,
- or contact details of a supervisor, despite multiple requests.
Even after a formal escalation with a clear deadline, Skycop avoided answering any specific questions and responded with yet another vague message.
After months of unanswered follow‑ups, I have now filed a complaint with ECC Slovenia (European Consumer Centre), who will contact Skycop directly.
At this point, Skycop’s handling of my case shows a serious lack of transparency and professionalism. I will update this review if the compensation is finally paid, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend Skycop.

Two years waiting for €250 after Skycop confirmed they received the airline's payment for claim #b961048d
I filed a compensation claim with Skycop on 15 August 2024 following a disrupted Ryanair flight. The total compensation was €500, with €250 deducted as Skycop's remuneration, leaving €250 payable to me.
After a very long process, Skycop contacted me in March 2026 saying the claim had entered the “final stages before completion” and requested my bank details. I provided them immediately.
Then, on 16 June 2026, Skycop explicitly confirmed in writing:
> “The airline's payment reached us.”
They also stated that:
> “After the issue is resolved, payment will be done right away.”
It is now August 2026. I still have not received my €250, nor have I received a transaction receipt or a meaningful explanation for why the payment has not been made.
I sent Skycop a final formal demand on 17 August, giving them until 21 August 2026 to confirm the transfer. The deadline passed without a substantive response.
This means I have now been waiting over two years for €250 that Skycop has confirmed the airline has already paid to them.
I have now filed a formal consumer complaint with the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) and will pursue the matter further if necessary.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Skycop carefully considers the potential delays involved. My issue is not that the claim was difficult to pursue — my issue is that Skycop says it received the airline's payment, yet I am still waiting for my share months later.
I hope Skycop resolves this immediately, but after more than two years, I should not have had to escalate a €250 payment this far.

#7771Leb38 This is the case ref number. I had them revoke my claim with BA as I pursued it independantly, once I realised who they are! They notified me that even though they did no work on my behalf,BA still paid my compensation to them! Numerous emails later ,bank details forwarded on ,still no response!

I had a flight cancelled over a year ago with Luxair. They confirmed to me pretty quick, that they sent my compensation money to Skycop, but I still haven't received a cent. It's been over a year, and despite emailing a thousand times, I only get late replies or even no reply at all.
Holding onto my payout after the airline already settled the claim is illegal.

8 months on now from my claim, no communication from Skycop, no money from Skycop. They have my compensation from my airline. But they are still denying this and still withholding MY money from me. This is just theft at this point.
I’ve been told so many times that they are sorry and it’s “in the final stages”, “I’ve been made a priority”. Which is all just lies. They have my money and they have stolen it. They are scammers and please don’t use them. I just want my compensation please.

My flight was delayed more than eight hours. I filed the charges to be disputed with Skycop. This was nearly three years ago. I receive periodic "offers" to accept a smaller settlement sooner, which I have always declined. As it's now been years, I reached out to the airline, who informed me that they have paid out the settlement. So I logged in to Skycop, who are claiming that they are still waiting on the airline to pay them.
