Horrible service
Horrible service. Design never mentioned the need for RSD though they knew my location and should have known RSD was an NEC requirement. Terrible logistics team as the order kept
Coming in piecemeal from various vendors so there was no way for me to tell what had arrived and what should still be yet to come.

Because solar codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) Rapid Shutdown (RSD) requirements vary widely by city, utility, and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), our DIY hardware packages provide base system equipment. Site-specific compliance reviews and engineered plan sets are handled exclusively through our dedicated paid permitting service. Outside of that service, confirming local AHJ mandates remains the responsibility of the installer or homeowner, though we regret any confusion regarding what was included with an equipment-only order.
Regarding your delivery: complete solar kits comprise various hardware (modules, racking, inverters, and balance-of-system parts) that dispatch directly from different regional distribution hubs. Our system automatically sends individual tracking numbers for each shipment to your preferred contact method as items ship. That said, we recognize that managing multiple freight and parcel deliveries can still be challenging on the receiving end.
We want to make sure your installation gets across the finish line safely. Our customer relations manager will reach out shortly with a complete master packing list so you can easily cross-reference what you have received and what may still be in transit.

Shop Solar had just what I was looking for. They even arranged to get it shipped to me in Hawaii when most others wouldn’t. It did take about a month but that was expected. I will definitely use them again.

Shipping was as promised. Set up of equipment was very easy. I have mine connected to a transfer switch just waiting for a power failure to test it.

Tech response has been horrible up…
Tech response has been horrible up until this point. It does not recognize the power coming into the unit. And I've been dealing with it for over a week now. With a number of different times that i've talked to technical support and sent pictures of what they would ask, they keep asking me the same questions over again Now through emails. I sat on, hold for the past hour. In the system has hung up on me four times.
Update: it is now 10/29/26. Found out they shipped me the F3800 not the F3800 Plus. Because of this I was told by the tecs to wire the panels into series. This delivers 121.1 volts to the unit which would be fine on the F3800plus but not the F3800. Let me get to the point. This issue is still not resolved. I do NOT understand why it is taking so long for someone to make the decision that they shipped me the wrong unit. They know that I was shipped the wrong unit. I have owned and operated my business for over 30 years. When either myself or one of my employees make a mistake, we try and take care of the issues ASAP.
