I purchased a matched pair of Ray Reserve 6SN7's from someone on Audio Mart for use in my LTA Aero DAC. After they arrived and I installed them, all of the front panel lights began flashing indicating a tube fault.

The seller assured me the tubes were virtually new, having maybe 40 hours on them, and suggested I contact Ray Tubes as they provide a 1 year transferrable warranty on all of their tubes.

After sending a note to Ray Tubes explaining the situation, I received a very warm response, indicating they were familiar with my DAC and that it was a great unit, and that it would very much benefit from the Ray Reserve 6SN7's, and saying they would love to replace the faulty tubes with good ones so I could enjoy all of the sonic pleasures that the DAC was truly capable of producing.

They requested a copy of the original receipt, which I obtained from the seller, and after a couple more emails, arrangements were made to send a set of replacement tubes to me.

Within a week or so a brand new set of Ray Reserve 6SN7's arrived at my door, which worked perfectly when installed in my DAC and resolved the problem entirely.

They also provided a prepaid return shipping label to me via email so I could return the faulty tubes back to them, which I had on their way back a day later...

I couldn't be happier with my Ray Reserve 6SN7's or the excellent customer service I received with them honoring their exceptional 1 year transferrable warranty .

My DAC sounds exceptional now, and aside from initially discovering the tubes I had purchased didn't work properly right out of the box, everything involved in contacting Ray Tubes and the entire process of getting them replaced with a new properly working pair was a pleasure...!

I highly recommend Ray Tubes for both the exceptional sonic qualities of their tubes, as well as their exceptional customer service, and truly world class warranty...!

I hit a problem with a matched pair of RESERVE 6SN7s that turned out to be faulty. The original purchase date of this set fell a little past the one-year warranty window, but Steven made a one-off exception and shipped a replacement pair anyway.

Support like that is rare. The new pair showed up fast and sounds flawless in my LTA Aero DAC. Ray Tubes builds excellent products and backs them with a level of care I haven't run into elsewhere.
