CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE WAS GREAT . WHILE MY SITUATION COULD NOT BE HELPED AND I DROVE A LONG WAY , I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THEM

The PCM for my 98 Ford Ranger 3.0 arrived today. Only a 10 minute job to take the old one out and install the new one. Plug and play just like you said. No PAT chip key to deal with on my truck so everything was very easy. Started right up and runs smooth as ever.
The tracking updates sucked as usual but thats not your fault. Thanks for a good job and providing parts for old trucks like mine.

Customer Service is great! I called twice and they answered all my questions fast and efficient.

first one didnt work..then you sent me a replacement that was worse than the first one . this is for a ECU 1994 food f150 4.9 e4od trans. then would not refund because it was past the 60 day refund window..whether the truck was sold or not doesnt matter if the part is defective .buyer beware..i had to purchased a ECU from a different company that worked perfect the first time...pro tech sells a very expensive door stop. after i wrote this review,i gave the second one you sent to me to the person that bought the truck. he installed it to see if it worked and it was smoking really bad and not shifting properly. he took the original ecu that came with the truck from the factory and had the leaking capacitors replaced and all the circuits checked. he then reinstalled the original factory module he had repaired and the truck runs perfect, so now he has 2 good modules the one he had repaired and the one i purchased from another company. since there was no warrunty from you i broke the seals and opened the second one you sent me up. 2 of the capacitors were not properly soldered and it also had three green jumper wires soldered improperly to the circuit board. i took it to the place that fixed the original factory ecu and they said it was not repairable so i threw it away. you need better quality control on your work. the second one you sent me was worse than the first one i bought from you. thats the truth. be safe and Gods speed to you.BUYERS BEWARE

Made an appt.to have the front end evaluated for repair an alignment. Everything was done in a timely fashion. Was very happy with all the work performed. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back here.

Service from ProTech was second to none. Due to several O2 Sensor/EGR/Evap codes (a usual indication of PCM going bad) I had previously sent my 2005 Mustang PCM to a "reputable" repair facility. Unfortunately those clowns sent back a PCM with serious FailSafe Engine and Software incompatibility issues (clearly they had no idea what they were doing). I ordered a replacement PCM from ProTech (much cheaper than other suppliers). I received a call from them to check that I was aware what was needed if I was fitting it myself (I was, car has PATS so would need an auto locksmith to code keys) This level of service reassured me that Protech knew what they were doing. PCM arrived, fitted and coded, after which car runs great, none of the uneven idling and previous codes all cleared. Very pleased.

Your sales person on the phone was great. Made the experience easy and painless. My only complaint would be that it took much longer to receive my ECU than i expected. Thank you

Some friends recomended Protech to me years ago. Most of the guys that recommended Protech are pretty anal about their vehichles and who works on them and how they perform. I have no complaints at all. Yes i recomend Protech.
