I’ve had a very satisfying experience with PicRights overall. A special mention goes to Amanda Drake, who is always on top of everything, extremely responsive, professional, and helpful. She consistently keeps things moving and is a pleasure to work with.

At times, I do feel that some of the other team members could be a little quicker in responding to emails, as there have been occasions when I’ve had to wait quite a while for a reply. That said, my overall experience with PicRights has been excellent, and I would definitely give the service five stars.

Pixsy is super easy to use and their support is fantastic!

Pixsy is easy to use and made it simple to monitor my images online. The setup was quick, and I appreciate having extra peace of mind as a food blogger.

Pixsy demanded £540 from my small electrical business
claiming copyright infringement for an image used on
a Facebook post.

After months of threatening letters I did my own
research and discovered the image is published on
Wikimedia Commons by the photographer himself under
a Creative Commons licence that explicitly permits
free use by anyone.

The photographer published his own image for free
and then used Pixsy to demand £540 from small
businesses who used it.

Pixsy were either unaware of this or chose to pursue
the claim anyway. Either way I received months of
threatening correspondence demanding payment for
something I legally owed nothing for.

I have now reported this to Trading Standards and
the Wikimedia Foundation.

Small businesses should be aware that if you receive
a Pixsy demand always check whether the image is on
Wikimedia Commons under a Creative Commons licence
before paying anything.

Pixsy is a fantastic company with excellent customer service. They have recovered thousands of dollars in lost revenue in the past years for me. I can't say enough good things about their work.

Good organisation with good results. Many cases they cannot come in contact with the company and get canceled and it can take alot of time to solve a case. Good and quick contact, Careful to send in the right case that really handles about stolen work otherwise you get a fine if a company bought the photo.

Pixsy takes a little time, and their interface could be better, but they have definitely been worth using. They have gotten me paid for many of my images that have been used without authorization.
I can recommend them wholeheartedly.
