Took forever to cancel a fraudulent…
Took forever to cancel a fraudulent account.
I had never even heard of PureVPN until I got an email making it sound like I had an account. I checked with the customer service chat and the person there said, no, there's no account. Well, a week later, I get a bill for $89.95. I write a help email and hop back in the chat. This person tries to tell me that they can't cancel this account and I have to go through Google Play. I don't use Google Play and have no PureVPN accounts or subscriptions attached to any of my Google accounts. I get back in the chat for a third, very frustrated time. The only person, who was of any help, Saad, actually listens to me, takes the time to look at all the evidence, and cancels the fraudulent account. I don't know what they're paying Saad, but its not enough. Beware of this company. They make it really hard to actually cancel.
