Lift has proudly spent over a decade building high-quality performance hydrofoils and foil boards from our home base factory in Puerto Rico. Shipping now.
Lift started in 2010 as a family-run shop in Puerto Rico. In 2015, co-founder Nick Leason — an engineer and lifelong surfer — designed the original eFoil, adapting technology from smartphones, electric vehicles, and drones into a board that flies above the water without needing wind or waves. Lift shipped its first commercial eFoil, the LIFT1, in 2018, and has released five eFoil generations since, leading up to today's LIFT5 and LIFTX.
Every Lift eFoil is built around the Lift Connect System (LCS) & a tool-free, click-and-lock setup that lets riders swap masts, propulsion units, wings, and batteries in seconds, no tools required. Paired with a carbon-fiber board, LCS is what makes Lift eFoils fast to rig and easy to reconfigure as your riding changes. The current lineup spans LIFT5 F for new riders, the flagship LIFT5, and LIFTX for powered surf and downwind foiling, alongside Foils hardware, boards, masts, and foil wings, for unpowered wing and surf foiling.
Lift has shipped thousands of eFoils to riders in more than 40 countries, backed by a global network of 300+ demo locations. Every eFoil includes a 1-year limited warranty, with optional extended coverage through Lift Protection • Powered by SureBright.

I ordered a Lift Foil expecting a high-quality product, but I was disappointed. The item arrived damaged, and the instructions were unclear. The design looked cheap, and it didn’t perform as advertised. I’d rather wait for a better deal than risk another purchase. Not worth the money.
The people at Lift are amazing! They’re not a bunch of outsourced help. I have 7 Efoil boards and if you need help it’s immediately given. With so many copycats out there I’m happy to stick to Lift. They’re pioneers in the industry and if you really want the best ride and quality don’t look further. Here in Maui, we’re the testing ground for wind and ocean sports. I want to know I’m on the best everyday I hit the ocean.
Repair was handled quickly. Email communication was confusing.
nothing , it was terrible service
it took months to get an answer for the simplest thing
then it costed 600.00 just to get a new hand controller
lost entire summer waiting
now another 120.00 delivery charge

Customer service was not able to troubleshoot the issue related to the Efoil controller. We have four efoils and two of the four simply froze. One while someone was riding on the open ocean in Maui.
Customer service had strange response of turning the AA batteries upside down- which did not work.
Ultimately the customer service agent just said to buy two new remotes/controllers ($500 each).
Whole process took three plus months.
Terrible customer experience

Support went above and beyond on our issues. Can’t thank Jerry enough.

Amazing product and even better product support. There is only one option for efoils and it is Lift...the guys that invented the sport

Great product line!
Pairing front wings with back wings could use some web-page guidance; tech support is good with guidance, 'talk with a pro' better although it takes time to schedule, not always a customer option.
Online shopping is a breeze.
Quick turnaround between purchase and shipping notification!!

I haven’t received my Lift efoil just yet because I only ordered it two days ago. But, so far, Customer Service has been quick in addressing a shipping concern; as well as shipping my order. They were very pleasant on the phone.

Ordering the correct model needs a lot of attention to detail due to all the different options, for a new person to foiling it can be disappointing especially when you are paying top dollar for the foil.

I put in a work order for my foil that was taking on water and at first, I got a great response and asked to take pictures which I did and then silence for about a week. Then I called and just ordered everything. I thought that would fix it and that experience was good, so most parts are coming, except for the hinges for the foil for and I will probably order the hinges as well, but they’re 100 bucks for two little hinges plus some kind of madness is happening anyway I live on a lake near Mount Rainier in Washington state I got my foil two years ago. I’m on the board for the lake health and we have gotten rid of wake surfers because of all the erosion and trouble it caused. That’s when I got my E foil and now three more people on the lake have foils so I have done a lot for your company. I make sure to teach everyone that is curious and I spread the word on how fun and safe they are. Im a 65-year-old retired female teacher like if I can do it you guys can do it and it’s working I think two or three more people are buying within the next year if not more so, it’d be really nice to have my board up and ready for this Labor Day weekend, the four of us foilers are in a parade on our foils instead of boats again spreading the word, they are amazing!

Looks like you shipped within 24 hours. Really appreciate it. Would be good to give the customer an ETA. I saw shipping was two dollars and I thought that sounds like the cheapest way to ship and I would have paid for two or three day delivery versus a week. Not sure when it's coming and the tracking doesn't tell me yet.

Just bought my 3rd Lift Board in the past 3 years. Started with a Lift 5’4 Lift4 and have now graduated to a 4’8 LiftX and a 5’2 Laird Lift5. Take out the boards 2X a week into the ocean surf and completely hooked. So meditative, fun and a different challenge every day. Outstanding work Lift team making such high quality boards and a great tech support team!
