Awful insurance
Awful insurance. Don't recommend to get it and look for something better. Got it for my dog and was already regretting after a month. Couldn't cancel it unfortunately, got in a trap for a one year, you don't get anything, only paying them each month

Great App. I am learning new things every day. Love that you can earn money back just by doing normal daily dog activities. The pricing and included coverage is laid out clearly, no confusion, 3 simple packages to choose from laid out clear and simple. I got a free tractive too, a device i was considering getting anyhow, so bonus. I am sure that with the free simple app courses i will be able to keep my dog healthier.

Also not had to claim yet so cant comment on that! Free tracker with policy for peace of mind. Been doing the courses and quizes on the app which for the most part would be very helpful esp for forst time dog owners. Fingers crossed all carries on being great!

Really glad we switched – app and claims are genuinely straightforward
I’ve had my pet insured with Lassie for a few months now and it’s been a relief compared with our previous insurer. Signing up was quick and the pricing felt clear from the start, with no confusing extras.
What stood out most was how easy the app is. When he needed treatment I just took a photo of the vet invoice and submitted it through the app. The claim was processed the same day and the money was back in my account without any back-and-forth or paperwork. That alone made the switch worthwhile.
I’ve also been using the little courses and daily tips in the app – nothing groundbreaking, but actually practical for things like nutrition and spotting early issues. Earning points towards a discount is a nice extra rather than the main reason I stayed, but it’s appreciated.
Overall it’s felt modern and low-hassle so far. I’d recommend it if you want something digital that actually delivers on the claims side rather than just looking slick.

1st time filing a claim was easy!
Filing my first claim was straightforward and easy. Coming from the US, I was expecting insurance claims to be much more of a hassle, but the claim was not just easy to file, it was promptly approved as well.

Terrible company. Claim handling was awful. Also, misleading claims on their websites also, they use the truspilot rating from their other countries on the website.

They accept older dogs which is nice but do not follow up.
Very time consuming and aggrivating even for the vet staff. Basically they refuse any claim ,if your animal has a simple gastro problème or anything related ,they are only covered every 2 years.Keep asking for documents over and over,I got tired of wasting the vet staff's time who already have a lot of work.i just gave up, paid Lassie and the vet bills.They sent a lot of smileys and AI mails but not much else.
I am sure there are honest pet insurance companies but I will take my vets advice and just put money aside every month

Thank you for your message. We are sorry for the confusion here.
Let us explain how it works: our policies don't include an excess. When you take out a policy, you choose a reimbursement rate (60%, 80% or 100%) and an annual limit. Eligible costs are then reimbursed at that rate, up to that limit, with no fixed amount deducted first.
So if the total you received over the year was lower than expected, it comes down to the rate on your policy and to which costs were eligible. We'd be glad to go through it with you.
Our team is available Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm, by phone, chat and email. Feel free to get in touch with your contract reference and we'll walk you through a detailed breakdown of the past year.

I have been with Lassie for over a year now, as a company they have been amazing, Informative, the app is totally fabulous for helping keeping your dog healthy great information as an owner the quizzes are fun. I recently added my other dog who was with another insurance for 7 years as they were useless, the adding was a little difficult maybe more from my side making it so, I had a live chat online and the help was exceptionally good...minutes later all done. Payments are so easy, within sending the claims, I recieve into my bank within 30mins...I have talked to other mums and dads about Lassie and they have changed their insurance over....If could give more stars I would....
