Disgraceful Keurig Customer Service

I have rarely experienced customer service as frustrating and incompetent as what I've encountered with Keurig.

I purchased a Keurig coffee maker from Bed Bath & Beyond in July 2025. The machine has been problematic, and after approximately six or seven conversations with Keurig customer service, I was referred to their warranty department.

At their request, I submitted photographs of my original purchase receipt and the machine's serial number. Their response was astonishing.

They claimed the serial number photograph was too close up, despite the number being perfectly legible. They also claimed the serial number was invalid, even though it was taken directly from their own machine. They then stated that Bed Bath & Beyond was not an authorized retailer and that my receipt indicated the coffee maker was used. It was purchased new.

And after all of that, they informed me the machine was outside its one-year warranty.

If the warranty had expired, why wasn't that established during any of my numerous previous conversations? Why repeatedly request documentation and escalate the issue only to present a laundry list of reasons to deny the claim?

I understand that warranties have expiration dates. What I find unacceptable is the extraordinary amount of time wasted, the contradictory explanations, and the complete lack of a straightforward resolution.

I've since purchased a Ninja coffee maker. Keurig has lost a customer, not simply because its product failed, but because of how the company handled the situation.

Side note, I bought this Smart Keurig brewer to replace my last Keurig that was just over a year old and completely stopped working.

My advice to prospective buyers: Consider not just the coffee maker, but the customer service you may need when something goes wrong.

Keurig coffee maker arrived fast

Ordered the K-Slim brewer on a Tuesday and it showed up at my door Thursday afternoon, which was faster than I expected. Setup took maybe five minutes and the first cup came out hot and tasted fine. The pods are pricey compared to just buying a bag of ground coffee but I like the convenience in the morning. I called support once about the descale light and the woman walked me through it without any trouble.

Disappointing Return Policy and Customer Experience

I recently purchased two coffee makers directly from Keurig. After trying them, I was not satisfied with one and decided to return it just two days after my purchase.

To my disappointment, Keurig requires customers to pay for return shipping, even when the product was purchased directly from their website and the return was requested almost immediately.

For a well-known company like Keurig, I expected a more customer-friendly return policy. Return shipping can be expensive, especially for a bulky coffee maker.

This experience has left me disappointed and hesitant to purchase directly from Keurig again. I hope the company reconsiders its return policy and puts greater emphasis on customer satisfaction.

I've had 2 Keurigs

I've had 2 Keurigs, one was a warrantee replacement. The first one worked for just about a year and then nothing would work, no power, none of the buttons worked. So they sent me a replacement under warrantee. This one managed to work just under two years and the same thing happened, no power anywhere, none of the buttons work. So I bought a Ninja instead. Enough with this Keurig crap.

Keurig’s customer service is completely…

Keurig’s customer service is completely broken. Regardless of the issue you report, their online and email responses are just the same generic copy-paste script telling you to call their 1-800 number.

Calling in is an exercise in frustration. I sat on hold for over 15 minutes just to reach an agent who couldn't resolve the issue and simply read off basic troubleshooting steps. Instead of solving the problem, they put me right back on hold to transfer me to "someone who might be able to help."

Directing every customer to a phone line only to waste their time with hold loops and unempowered representatives is awful service. Stand behind your products and train your reps to actually fix issues instead of passing the buck.

My Keurig Supreme Plus SMART Warranty Experience

My Keurig Supreme Plus SMART coffee maker stopped working after less than two years. In my rush to replace it, I ordered an identical model before realizing the original might still be under warranty.

I contacted Keurig and my broken machine was still under warranty. The representative assured me that my order would be rerouted to Keurig, my purchase refunded, and a replacement shipped under warranty.

Today, a new coffee maker arrived. I unpacked it, set it up, and began using it. Keurig then called to inform me that the machine I received was the one I had purchased, not the warranty replacement.

Their solution? Pack up the brand-new machine I had just received and used, ship it back, wait for my refund, and then wait for the IDENTICAL machine they shipped under the warranty claim to arrive.

I spoke with two customer service representatives and repeatedly tried to explain the absurdity of this arrangement. Neither seemed capable of understanding my perfectly reasonable request. The conversations were exercises in frustration. It was like talking to a wall.

Why not simply designate the machine I already received as the warranty replacement and issue the refund I was promised? This would save Keurig unnecessary shipping and handling expenses while sparing me considerable inconvenience. Everyone benefits.

Instead, Keurig insists on exchanging two identical products for absolutely no practical reason.

I have no intention of participating in this ridiculous exercise. When the second machine arrives, I will simply sell it at a discount and recover some of my money.

This is bureaucracy at its worst and an astonishing example of poor customer service. A situation that should have been resolved with one simple administrative adjustment has become unnecessarily complicated.

All I am asking for is a little common sense. Apparently, that is in remarkably short supply at Keurig.

No longer making quality products and don't care!

Keurig has incredibly disappointed me. We were very excited to purchase a dual model that would allow us to clear counter space. However, after just a few months, the coffee maker's internal circuits fried and no longer powered on. Keurig sent me a replacement one that did the same thing 13 months later. This time they said it is past the 12 month warranty, so only offered a 25% discount off a new one. I cannot justify spending more money on a product that's not even built to last 2 years. We take great care of our unit, and use high quality filtered water, so our maintenance of the product is not the issue. The lack of interest in making a quality product on top of the insulting 25% discount offered to spend more money has resulted in Keurig losing a customer.

I just received my sixth Keurig…

I just received my sixth Keurig single-cup coffee maker, and it will be my last one!
The sixth came without the plastic carbon filter holder.
I called Keurig, finally spoke with someone with a very heavy accent, and had to repeat myself and my information multiple times. After several minutes of frustration, I was told the new Keurig coffee makers do not come with the filter holder. I explained that Keurig's advertisement did not state that the plastic filter holder was not included, as my last five Keurig machines did.
I tossed the entire fifth Keurig coffee maker, including the plastic filter holder, into the garbage. If I had known the new Keurig didn't include the plastic filter holder, I would have kept the filter holder.
I explained that I had 11 Keurig carbon filters.
She told me that I could order the missing filter holder from Keurig for $15.
I purchased the exact missing plastic Keurig filter holder from Amazon for $7.
This is the last Keurig coffee maker that I will buy!

I had auto delivery service set up for monthly k-cups. Apparently they discontinued what I normally order so they took it upon themselves to send something to replace it and changed my previous order history to the replacement k-cups not what I actually ordered/received.
called customer service to return and they are making me pay to return it. Never use this service!

ZERO starts if I could

ZERO starts if I could. Awful experience with customer service. I made a purchase and in less then 24 hours it is now being offered for a lower rate. I tried reaching out 3 times and each time I was disconnect. Finally spoke with someone who stated that they can't make adjustments nor would they help because it was being offered on their site for lower within 24 hours. I called customer service which took me 3 additional attempts to finally get someone who kept placing me on hold to advise that I could not cancel the order. Which I didn't want to do. I simply wanted the adjustment on pricing since it is now being offered at a lower rate within 12 -24 hours of purchasing. I love supporting local since I am from the same state this company is based out of but with their customer service I will go else where.

Poor Customer Support !

This company makes unreliable products and does not stand behind the products or warranty at all. I was given the run a round and told I would be getting a replacement coffee maker 3 times by customer service. I was told to discard my broken one that was 2 months old and was the second I purchased in less that 10 months. So I put in the trash , once Keurig found that out they said I wont be getting the replacement because i had to return the broken one. Liars , cheats and scammers. Do your self a favor and go purchase a Mr. Coffee , it will last a lifetime.

This company does not stand by their warranty agreement

We purchased a new Kuerig K-Iced single pod coffee maker from Wayfair on 6/29/2026. After 3 months of use the coffee maker just quit on us. After reading the Troubleshooting online I took the steps but it still didn't work. I called customer service twice about this and had to send in a copy of my receipt (which I had) and a copy of the QR code on the back of the machine for the serial number. After a short time I received an email declining my claim saying I did not have the proper purchase documentation (I HAD THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT) It is clear that this company does not stand by their warranty agreement. The person running this company must have previously worked in the insurance industry with the deny deny deny philosophy. I was supposed to receive a call back from the customer service and I never received one.

Philippines customer service dept won't help.

I have been a long-time customer of Keurig, and their company as gone to crap. I get a regular auto-ship order. Their service has been getting worse an worse.

My recent shipment appeared undamaged, but inside the bags of coffee were cut open and the box was filled with loose coffee.

I called customer service and spoke with three different people. They did not listen to me, just read from a script. They barely spoke English. My total time on the phone was close to an hour.

Here is what I learned:
• Keurig does not issue refunds for damaged shipments
• They will only give you coupons which are not redeemable on auto-ship orders
• The people I spoke with informed my they can only say what is on their scripts
• Their customer service reps are unaware the Keurig sells regular ground coffee, their scripts only deal with Keurig K-cups and coffee-makers.
• The customer service department is located in THE PHILIPPINES!

I am looking for an alternative who sells my brand of coffee. Stay away from this company.

The Keurig false responce to legitimate clame

The Keurig descaler bought on Amazon just killed the Keurig K-Express Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, Black | 3 Brew Sizes, 42oz that was bought on Amazon as well.As a result of a call to customer service (extremely difficult) I received an Email with instruction to provide serial number and proof of purchase. I took photos of both and submitted to the Keurig. The coffee maker was purchased on 6/10/2026 and delivered on 611/2026. Below is the pasted email I received from Keurig:
We have received your photos for your proof of purchase. Upon review, we regret that we are unable to accept your photo(s) as they do not meet our requirements per our warranty policy. We could not process your request due to one the following reasons:
*Serial number is not valid.
*Proof of purchase provided is not valid.
*Proof of purchase shows a purchase date outside of our 1-year warranty.
*Proof of purchase states brewer was purchased “Used.”
*Proof of purchase provided is not from an authorized retailer.
If you have any further questions, you may reach us at (866) 901-BREW (2739). Should you need to call, please reference the SR# in the subject of this email for faster processing.
Not a single reason for rejection was correct. Moreover it indirectly accused me for submitting false documents. It took another long call to Keurig (Philippines) to resolve the issue. My conclusion is Keurig's algorithm for processing legitimate claims is set to DENY first and wait for follow up if any. Buyer beware!

Terrible customer service I've bought 2…

Terrible customer service I've bought 2 different Keurig duo and I shit you not within weeks the single side went out. Four months to the date the carafe side went out. Keurig did me good when the first one went out, they replaced it but then when the replacement did exactly the same thing they tried saying that the problem must be my fault. I told the CS lady that I only use bottle water in my coffee she told me that I should try tap water. I just gave up will never buy Keurig again.
