Jobscan helped me find the job
Jobscan was pivotal to my resume optimization experience. The user experience was mostly smooth (bar a couple of laggy moments), but most importantly, it did its job very well, which was ensuring my resume stands the best chance of passing ATS. I will definitely recommend Jobscan to other job searchers,

jobscan played a significant role in…
obscan played a significant role in helping me land my new position.
As a senior program and transformation leader, I was applying to highly competitive roles and realized that having a strong resume wasn't enough—it needed to be optimized for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Jobscan helped me tailor my resume to specific job descriptions, identify missing keywords, and improve my overall ATS match score.
The platform made it easy to align my experience with employer requirements while maintaining the authenticity of my resume. The insights and recommendations were practical, actionable, and saved me a tremendous amount of time during my job search.
Most importantly, after consistently using Jobscan to customize my applications, I started receiving more recruiter responses and interview opportunities, which ultimately helped me secure a new role.
I highly recommend Jobscan to anyone looking to improve their resume, increase interview chances, and navigate today's competitive job market more effectively.

Good tool for tailoring your resume to job descriptions. The keyword analysis is the main reason to pay for it and it works well.
Interface is a bit dated but the scans are accurate. Helped me get past the ATS filters that were eating my applications before.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unauthorised Charge Attempt During Free Trial
Dear Jobscan Support Team,
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience using your platform.
I signed up for the 7-day free trial with the clear understanding that I would have the opportunity to evaluate the service before deciding whether to continue with a paid subscription. However, within the first 24 hours of signing up, I noticed an attempt to charge my bank card.
This is completely unacceptable and has seriously damaged my trust in your company. A free trial should allow customers sufficient time to assess the service before any payment is taken. Attempting to collect funds so quickly creates the impression of misleading business practices and raises concerns about transparency.
As a customer, I expect:
A clear explanation of why a payment attempt was made during the trial period.
Confirmation that no further charges will be processed without my explicit consent.
Immediate cancellation of any active subscription or auto-renewal linked to my account, if applicable.
Written confirmation of the status of my account and payment details.
Based on this experience, I am now considering alternative CV and job application platforms that operate with greater transparency and customer trust.
I would appreciate a prompt response addressing this matter.

3rd Time Jobscan Helped Get Me Hired!!!
Jobscan has helped get my resume noticed by recruiters and land me a job for the third time in my career!!! I work in the financial services field and was laid off last year, but did not start getting interviews until I ditched Skillsyncer and started using Jobscan again. I first used Jobscan in 2019, again in 2020, and at the beginning of last fall - and the ATS screener has helped me in each of these three job searches. The ATS resume screener has helped significantly with both content and formatting for creating resumes to successfully pass through ATS systems. The new AI Optimization feature was extremely helpful as well. I highly recommend Jobscan if you're applying to hundreds of jobs you are qualified for and not getting responses. You will start seeing emails in your inbox from recruiters if you use Jobscan!

Using jobscan really helps get your Resume noticed!
Using jobscan really helped to improve my resumes as I tailored for each role. As with all support systems of this nature ensure you read through all the changes it proposes. Ultimately you need to be able to talk to your submitted resumes in interviews.
This was the second round of job hunting I have used this station great effect!

A horrible experience for a horrible resume.
A horrible experience for a horrible resume. I've used multiple AI resume review sites and apps before, and this has to be the worst. Instead of telling me why it was a bad resume, it kept giving me a score under 40% with the only issues being that my skill in "adobe creative cloud" wasn't split up into the actual adobe apps. Everything else was fine with the resume after I dug around. If you didn't want to read why it was a bad resume, you'd have been tricked into thinking your resume was worse than it was, and would pay for the service to improve it. This is shady at best.

$96 renew without notice when you're jobless ispainful
Jobscan is not useful. It's suggestions made my resume word salad. I know it's my fault for not turning off auto renew, but if they believe in their product and aren't just money grabbing they'd be confident sending a renew notification. Use Claude for free instead, it's actually helpful.

The system has been down for a month
The system has been down for a month. It will not scan a replace like it's supposed to. Multiple requests for assistance and no progress. They also do not monitor live chat. I find it completely unacceptable for a software to not be able to complete its main task for 30 days and the company just sending canned responses. I even sent a video showing exactly what the system was doing. They suggested I make some manual changes to my resume to help the ATS score increase. Uhhhh, aren't I paying for Jobscan so I don't have to make manual changes myself? Do they not employ engineers to fix issues?
Also, I find it morally reprehensible that they continue to accept new subscribers when they know the system doesn't work. My coworker joined to try it and experienced the same issues. Buyer beware...

This service really works
This service actually helped me land a job. No exaggeration. It's keyword pairing and matching feature is actually what helps employers get through a load of useless CVs in their hunt for good candidates. But caution! Not all jobs are for everyone, know what you want in the job market, know your skills etc, verify your skills and experience, Jobscan will translate your words into a job application, but review it first before submitting it to a job vacancy. There's nothing more embarrassing than claiming something on a CV you can't actually do! As for my experience, I spent 5 months relying on AI alone to narrow my experience to craft the right CV in line with job requirements. And while I got a few phone calls, none of them landed an interview. I then did some extra research on visibility, and it turns out to be the ATS factor. As I had spent 5 months already, I had nothing to lose, asked Google for a FREE ATS and it recommended jobscan. After using up the limited number of tries normally available to premium (paid) users on the fREE plan, I saw just how good this turned out to be amd since I had run out of option, I thought the 3 month fee was worth a try, I could always pull out. So I used my credit card (yes, financially strained at the time, hence the job application) to sign up for the premium and sure enough, I landed my job with a recruitment agency that actually bothered to connect me to a job that understood my actual need to balance family and work (I'm a dad of two so I have to pick up kids from school). Yes, jobscan works, but dont forget to do your own due diligence in providing accurate and up to.date information, an ATS is NOT responsible for not landing you a job if you don't prepare your own database in advance! And once again, do not forget to choose your job carefully, choose your employer well.

JobScan = Confidence
Love JobScan! Hopefully I won’t need to come back since I landed a job (using an 85% match rate tailored resume). Regardless, it def works and helps build confidence in the resumes & cover letters you submit in today's otherwise wretched job search/application system.

A+ Tool
Really helped me improve my resumes using keywords targeted for getting past automated screenings. AI only got me halfway there, Jobscan would find keywords they'd left out.

WHAT AN AMAZING TOOL.
WHAT AN AMAZING TOOL.
I had my resume professionally built and was getting very little responses. Jobscan made customizing my resume for each individual position a snap. the easy to use AI generated refined versions that were easy to customize download and also would create a cover letter for each position. I was not only started getting interviews and several job offers. also during my subscription I was also able to help a family member land a job as well using the site. At first i thought it seemed expensive but after paying 200 dollars to a professional to refine my self built resume once and getting under whelming response i started using Jobscan where i was able to refine customize and submit over 30 job targeted resumes with cover letters to match, do the math. I cant recommend it enough.

Jobscan got me a job in 3 applications.
Jobscan got me a job within 3 applications and I love it! I started using it after a classmate told me it got him interviews before we even graduated. It is so easy to use. I uploaded my documents, followed the simple prompts and in under an hour I fine tuned my resume and cover letter to better reflect my strengths relating to the job description. I have raved about this to all of my friends from school. And to top it all off, I had an excellent experience with their Customer Service Department after a minor issue. Try this out, it pays for itself in a single paycheck!
