Easy to Use and Reliable

I’ve been using a Sinocare glucose meter and I’m very happy with it. It’s easy to use, practical and makes checking my blood glucose quick and simple. I’ve found it very useful and convenient for regular glucose monitoring. A very good product that I would definitely recommend.

I have tested a few Sinocare products

I have tested a few Sinocare products. The latest Safe AQ Air, which is a simple blood testing system for blood glucose, I have tried and tested alongside monitors from AgaMatrix and Abbott, and I find it consistent with these other products. It is easy to use, and I really like the fact that it will synchronise with my phone so I don't have to separately note the measurements. That is a big bonus!

Great Product, outstanding service

The data I received from the device was both consistent and easy to read. I was notified every four minutes about my glucose levels. Unfortunately, after about five days, the device became unstuck from my arm. I received a message on the device asking why it wasn't sending the correct data. I explained it had become unstuck via email. They immediately contacted me and offered me a refund for the few days that I was not able to use. I found their customer service team to be efficient, polite. I will certainly use this device again and use the plaster that goes with it. Unfortunately, the plaster didn't come with mine. Overall, a great product, well worth the money, and the customer service is outstanding.

Amazing!

I bought this blood pressure monitor a few weeks ago to help me keep track of my blood pressure at home, and I’ve been very impressed with it. It is very accurate, easy to use, and gives quick, clear readings every time. The large display makes the results easy to read, and the memory function is really useful for tracking my readings over time.

The monitor feels well made, is comfortable to use, and the instructions are straightforward, making it suitable for people of all ages. It has given me peace of mind by allowing me to monitor my blood pressure regularly without any hassle.

I highly recommend the Sinocare blood pressure monitor to anyone looking for a reliable, accurate, and user-friendly device. It offers excellent value for money and has become an essential part of my home health routine. I would happily give it a 10 out of 10!

As a registered nurse

As a registered nurse, I have tested both the blood pressure monitor, and 2 of the blood glucose monitoring systems. I have four all products to be easy to use, accurate, well packaged and high quality. I particularly like the bluetooth function of the Safe AQ Air monitor, along with the App, it allows you to keep a digital record of all your readings and manage your diabetes.

Great response to a request for help.

I have had a Sinocare blood pressure monitor for a few years and after replacing the batteries I needed to reset the date & time and user details, however I had lost the user manual, and as it is no longer sold I was unable to find anything on line. I wrote to Sinocare-Customer Center in China asking if they could mail me a copy, not really expecting a response, however within 24 hours they emailed me the manual and provided a link to a utube demonstration video. Very impressed!

Dubious about it's accuracy

I have just purchased a sinocare blood sugar monitor and am slightly dubious of it's accuracy. I took a reading 2 hours after eating and the result was 1.7 mmol/dl which I though was incredibly low. I immediately took another reading and the result was 5.4 mmol/dl. quite a jump! I have really lost confidence in this monitor but as I still have my old one and a few strips for it I will compare the results the next time.

Useless instructions let this product down

Utterly useless instructions nearly caused me to return my 2 in 1 BG and UA meter. After using 7 UA strips following the instruction in the user manual, which clearly states "hold the tip of the test strip to the blood drop', I realised that the reaction chamber on the UA test strip is horizontally positioned about 1 cm back from the tip, unlike the BG test strip where it is in the tip. The meter functioned properly after this and gave me readings for both BG and UA. Better instructions in the manual, with the test strips and online for UA test strips would be helpful.

Expensive products, Awful Customer Service

I have seldom met a company with such woeful Customer Services. I contacted them via their website as my sensor was defective. They replied promptly asking for photos and other info which I supplied almost immediately. They then closed my enquiry on the basis that they hadn’t heard from me, and multiple emails asking for it to be re-opened have been ignored. Their monitors are not cheap, so I won’t be giving any more money to a company that treats their customers so badly.

EDIT

I have supplied the photos you requested in your response to support AT sinocare DOT com

FURTHER EDIT

I have checked my settings and my Sent folder, and it has been sent. Your reply has the feel of a ‘Bot’ reply and we are getting nowhere. There is nothing more that I can do. I cannot recommend your product or your Customer Service.

6 JANUARY 2026

I have received your latest response, which must surely be a joke. I have responded to the supplied email address, but I doubt you will get it. You send me a link, requesting photos, yet the provided link has no option to attach photos. Totally unprofessional.

7 February 2026

Thank you for reply. In answer to your question, Yes I have used the second sensor and Yes it did function as intended. In relation to the defective one you already have as much information as I can provide, so either replace it, or don’t replace it, I will not waste any more of my time filling out forms that I have already submitted.

08/02/2026

Thank you, that will be fine. Much appreciated

09/02/2026

Thank you very much, and I can confirm that I have received the refund and I now consider this matter closed.

Not Recommended tried the glucose strips

I tried the glucose strips, and faced difficulties with them. On average you may need to try two strips to get a result. Definitely will not buy again.

Hello customer,
When using the test strip to collect blood, whether the white part of the test strip is full?
Please adjust your lancing pen to the proper gear to prick your finger so that you can apply enough blood sample to the suction port of the test strips.
Otherwise, there is no result when you test.

To help you resolve your issue, could you tell me which platform you placed the order on?
What's the order number?
Because we need to check your order details and help you as soon as possible.
Please rest assured, we will offer the ideal solution to you when we clarify the issue.

Excellent duel product

I was very pleased with the combined Uric acid and glucose monitor. Was delivered speedily and was easily set up and in operation within an hour. The results obtained for both uric acid and glucose compared well with other monitors. It would be great if Sinocare Inc made a duel monitor for glucose and triglycerides.

Bought and wearing a Sinocare iCan 3…

Bought and wearing a Sinocare iCan 3 CGM. The readings are anywhere between 1.3 and 2.3 mmols higher than a finger prick taken at same time, so not only did this freak me out, it instantly made me a diabetic (at the wrong levels it's reading) and the variation means the readings are unusable. 2.3 mmols is just over 40mg/DL, it's a massive amount.

I contacted Sinocare by email and so far nothing, so totally unimpressed with them and their products. Waste of money.

Updated 15/05/2025
Sinocare have responded which a request for an order number, 24-11910-03541 from their sinocareestore on ebay. Search your inbox and you will find my email from 12/05/2025, the one you haven't responded to. It was a genuine order. Your serial number is SN 66101DD78521A. If I could add images, I could show you the photo of it stuck to my body.

Updated 18/05/2025
I supplied a range of daily readings and Sinocare’s response was that my sensor had only a 20% variance, and that 30% was considered acceptable. Wow!

What does this mean in practise for a fasting measurement? Let’s take..

BG 5 mmols
CGM could be anywhere from 3.5 to 6.5 mmols

BG 90 mg/dl
CGM could be anywhere from 63 to 117 mg/dl

So at the lower apparently acceptable limit I am 7 days into a water fast, while at the upper apparently acceptable limit I will be diagnosed as pre-diabetic. While in reality, neither is happening.

In my personal opinion, a 30% variation renders the Sinocare iCan3 product completely useless.

I cannot see how a reading like this is “acceptable”, and according to their response, ALL the CGM sensors perform to this variance.

As they suggested, I asked Google, and it told me "If the manufacturer states "30% variation is acceptable," they likely mean readings could be up to 30% higher or lower than the actual blood glucose level. This is commonly expressed as ±30%”. Hence the above numbers.

So they have responded, and they have confirmed to me at least that their sensor is a complete waste of time and money. The only thing worse than no data is incorrect data, and the data from this iCan3 is more likely to put me into a medical program than provide me with anything useful to help, while all the time my blood glucose was actually within a normal range.

Final Update 21/05/2025
I have to say that once the communication channel was established, Sinocare were very responsive in answering questions. It became apparent my original email went to an advertised address, but one that was not linked through to the after-sales team, which explained why no-one replied.

After a discussion, Sinocare have now fully explained and resolved the issue, so well done for that.

I personally won’t be buying anymore CGMs. I’ve previously bought from Freestyle Libre and now Sinocare, the Libre under-measures, the iCan3 over-measures, the Libre allows raw data export, the iCan doesn’t, the Libre only stores 8 hours (so you will lose data at some point) the iCan saves everything, the last 3 Libres I used all fell off after about 6 days, so that becomes expensive, whereas the iCan has stayed firmly in place through swims in the sea, showers etc… and I think will last the distance.

My personal recommendation is to make sure you read all the info about how these CGMs function, set your expectations and make sure it will give you what you need.

Dear David MacDougall,

Greetings from Sinocare Service.

We have noticed the issue with your order on Trustpilot. It appears that your eBay order was purchased in August 2024. Could you let us know if you recently started using it rather than immediately upon receipt? Please check if the CGM sensor has expired by providing us with a picture of the sensor pack. The CGM sensor typically has a short expiration date of one year.

I am also sorry to hear that your blood glucose readings are not accurate. Please note that there is a physiological delay (usually 5 to 10 minutes, but it can be longer) between changes in blood glucose and interstitial glucose. Typically, when blood glucose levels are more stable, such as during fasting and two hours after a meal, the dynamic and finger stick blood glucose levels should be closely aligned.

Could you compare your blood glucose meter and CGM readings twice while fasting (e.g., overnight fasting for more than 8 hours)? Record your fasting results with your blood glucose meter and then record your CGM sensor reading after 5 minutes. For example, you can record it as follows:
7:00 am Blood glucose meter: XXX mmol/L
7:05 am CGM sensor: XXX mmol/L
7:10 am Blood glucose meter: XXX mmol/L
7:15 am CGM sensor: XXX mmol/L

We have also sent an email to you via help@sinocare.com. Besides, we are sorry that we haven't received your email, it might be caused by mail system error.
We will always stand behind our product. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Sinocare Customer Service

I have been using the Sinocare testing for 2 years

I have been using the Sinocare testing machine for over two years, but I never questioned its reliability until yesterday. Out of curiosity, I decided to test three times simultaneously. Unfortunately, each test gave a different reading, with noticeable variations in the results.

I made sure to follow the strict guidelines, including washing my hands properly and ensuring a good flow of blood. Additionally, the machine, pricking needle, and test strips were all fairly new. Despite these precautions, the inconsistencies in the readings have made me question the accuracy of the device.

Hello,
Have you tested them with the same drop of blood?
In order to obtain accurate blood glucose measurement results, it is best to use fresh blood samples for each test.
The reason below:
1. The glucose concentration in the blood changes over time: The glucose concentration in the blood is dynamic and is influenced by factors such as diet, exercise, and medication. If the same drop of blood is used for multiple tests, inaccurate results may be obtained because the glucose concentration in the blood may have already changed.
2. Contamination of blood samples: Using the same drop of blood for multiple tests may lead to contamination of the blood samples. When collecting blood samples, bacteria, dirt, or other substances may adhere to the skin. If the same drop of blood is used multiple times for testing, these pollutants may affect the accuracy of measurement results.
3. Changes in blood volume: Each time a blood sample is collected, the blood volume may vary. If the same drop of blood is used for multiple tests, it may lead to insufficient blood volume and affect the accuracy of the test.

In this case, could you use fresh blood samples for each test when you are fasting?
And please remember to make sure that the second drop of blood flows out and then starts to absorb and measure.(Wipe off the first drop of your blood)
We surely know the inaccuracy of the device is dangerous to our customers, so you'd better follow up with the correct steps to test and compare.

Best regards,

This is not a reliable product at all

This is not a reliable product at all, I checked my blood glucose levels 3 times as it showed very high reading for the first time, on second test (within a minute) it showed completely different reading and so was the third one. One reading was normal, one was in pre-diabetes range and one was in diabetes range. How unreliable is that? It seems like it just throws random numbers out to show its function but practically it has no accuracy.

Hello,
Please confirm that you got these results under the same condition. (fasting or after-meal ).
Do you test them with the same drop of blood?
When the blood is not enough, do not squeeze your finger, so as not to squeeze out the tissue fluid and affect the test result; instead, let the blood be pushed out from the finger to the fingertip.

The comparison with another device can't be the basis of measurement accuracy.
If you are worried about the accuracy, I suggest you go to the nearby clinic and get the blood testing result, then compare that result with the one from our glucose meter, if the difference is less than 15%, then our glucose meter result is reliable.
(Since more factors affect blood glucose changes after meals, it is recommended that you compare the fasting measurement results with venous blood of the hospital, so you'd better take the monitor to the hospital for simultaneous testing. If there is a large temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, please keep the meter and test strip constant for 30 minutes before testing.)

Dear Gene Maughan,

This is Sinocare Customer Service.
As you mentioned that our customer service is not responding to you, may I ask you to let us know which email you sent the query to? We will check if there is something wrong with the email system. Since we haven't received any emails from you until now.

As for the control solution is a special liquid used to test whether or not your glucometer and test strips are working properly. However, we have already tested our test strips immediately after production. You can skip this step and use the blood glucose meter directly, please rest assured.

Due to the fact that the quality control solution is only valid for three months after opening the bottle and the high requirements for storage conditions, it is easy for the quality to change within three months, so we generally do not send the control solution to customers. If you are concerned about the accuracy of the test, we recommend that you compare the results with your hospital blood biochemistry results. If you have any problems using the glucometer, you can contact us here as we offer a one-year guarantee on this product.

Of course, if you want to calibrate it yourself. We have to send the control solution from China, it takes about 1~2 months or longer for delivery. Also, as the control solution is a kind of liquid, it's more difficult to transport. If you are willing to send the control solution from China, please provide your address.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Kind regards,
Sinocare Service

Sinocrare CGM Ican3 totally unreliable.

The norma Sinocarel glucose bloodtest works fine but it turns out that the Continuous Glucose Measurement system Ican3 is totally unreliable. E.g it gives me a reading of 187 mg/dl before lunch while the manual bloodtest gives me 91 !! My guess is that this test has not been approved by the US FDA.

There are so many factors that can affect the product's performance. We did not inspect the item so we may not be able to know the exact reason.
We doubt it's a small probability event.
As for the user's issue, we sent a replacement immediately.
The buyer should receive the intact product and works well now.
