Domestika is amazing. I like because of the caliber of artists…professional artists in the field, instead of hobbyists/side hustle types that seems to fill up other platforms. A huge annoyance is u... See more

Some technical delays. Other courses do a split screen showing the instructor and the reference so users can work along with teacher. That is much more effective

Rejected refund

I tried to buy a single course on Domestika and ended up unintentionally subscribed to an annual Domestika Plus plan for USD 200. I noticed the charge just 30 minutes after making it, immediately cancelled the auto-renewal, and requested a refund from the company. Domestika rejected my request twice, with generic responses, without evaluating my case. Crazy how companies still get away with this in 2026.

Scam website

Scam website! Be aware! Just purchased a course on Domestica which was advertised for £0.59 for a 30-day period to try. However, just looked on my account and it turns out that they charged me £19 (full price!) for this course. During the check out process, the price in my cart was £0.59 the whole time, but somehow after check out, it turned into £19! Scammers! Not only that, but if after the 30-days trial period, this will turn into a subscription, I am going after you Domestica!! 😡🤬😡

Domestika's Courses Truly Enriching

I love the way the lessons are conducted. Very organized and step-by-step. I've applied whatever I've learned. Domestika is the only platform I go to for all my art lessons. And that's because I trust Domestika's art courses.

Really unprofessional scammers

Really unprofessional. I attempted to cancel my account within the trial period. It wasn't processed for whatever reason, so I've still been charged, despite taking necessary steps to cancel. Have tried messaging the customer service multiple times, only to receive the same copy and pasted message. Am now looking to peruse legal action and a dispute via my bank

Wonderful Teachers

Wonderful Teachers. I ALWAYS learn something new. The price for the courses are far beyond fair. I can pace myself when life gets busy, and return to the course work when I'm ready.
With much appreciation and gratitude Domestika!

Hi! Our goal is to make every step of the Domestika Plus free-trial clear and easy to manage.

How the purchase works:
- You can choose between the reduced price or the regular price. With the reduced price, the banner itself explains that a 30-day free trial will start, showing the exact price that will be charged if the trial isn’t cancelled.

- Once you move to the checkout page, the subscription details appear again, clearly visible above the course being purchased, to ensure transparency. If you choose not to have the subscription, which is possible at that moment, you can remove it, and the course price will be updated to the regular rate.

- Notifications are sent to the email associated with your Domestika account during your trial period and you can cancel before the trial period ends from Profile › Subscriptions.

About the charge you received, it seems like the trial wasn’t cancelled before the estimated period, so the annual membership was billed automatically.

Please note that you can find more information in our Help Center: https://domestika.co/CS-PlusRefund

Regards,
Domestika Team.

Charged $349 twice for a subscription I never used, and no renewal notice was ever sent

TITLE:
Charged $349 twice for a subscription I never used, and no renewal notice was ever sent

REVIEW:
In September 2025 I paid $0.99 for an offer that included one photography course. That converted into a Domestika Plus annual subscription. I was charged $349 in 2025 and $349 again on 3 September 2026. Order C54283039T37307182.

Across both paid years I never started a single Plus course and never redeemed a single credit. The 12 credits from my 2025 subscription expired unused. The 12 credits from the current period are untouched. All of this is verifiable in my own account.

I want to be precise about my complaint. I am not claiming the trial terms were hidden at signup. They appear in my order record. My complaint is that no renewal notice was ever sent before either annual charge. I searched my entire mailbox, including spam and promotions, and there is nothing. Domestika Inc. is headquartered in Berkeley, California, and California's automatic renewal law requires advance notice before renewing a subscription with a term of a year or longer.

I contacted support twice. Both times I received a byte-for-byte identical form letter telling me to check my Orders page and reminding me that subscriptions are non-refundable. Neither reply addressed a single thing I asked. I specifically requested a copy of the renewal notice and the consent record and received no answer to either.

I also notified support that the charge was still pending and had not yet settled, with a screenshot, and asked for it to be reversed before it processed. Your own refund policy says no payment is made when a subscription is canceled before the charge is processed. That request was ignored as well.

I have canceled the subscription and the PayPal billing agreement. I am asking for a refund of the most recent $349 charge only. I am not asking for the 2025 charge back.

If anyone at Domestika reads this, I would welcome a response from an actual person rather than a template.

Hi!

The Plus subscription renews automatically unless it’s canceled before the renewal date.

The charge you’re seeing is related to the renewal of the annual subscription you had previously activated. As mentioned in our Terms of Use, subscription charges are non-refundable.

You can turn off the automatic renewal at any time by following these steps: https://domestika.co/CS-CancelPlusRenewal

Once you do that, you’ll continue enjoying all the Plus benefits until the end of your current subscription period.

Domestika Team.
