The quality and richness of Zack's contents are extremely valuable and can almost not be gotten anywhere else. The idea of not just learning how to use tools but the various optimizations and tradeoffs (cost, performance, use case, etc.) around using them is one of the most sought-out qualities by companies today, and I really appreciate dataexpert.io for that.

Zach's any content is definitely worth it, every bit of it. Only caveat is that you need to spend good amount of time and effort and that's what make his courses wonderful. I recommend every single video of Zach. His content is pure gold.

I just completed ‘Rise of the Data Engineer’ bootcamp. I had zero data engineering background and never touched Databricks before. I completed three hands-on assignments and a capstone (with Spark ETL pipeline processing real registry data, a live third-party API integration, a semantic search system, and a deployed AI agent that reads and writes real data). Dense material, exceptional payoff. I feel guilty it was free. I know where I need to grow before joining the paid course.

What made the experience be great here at DataExpert is the structured lessons, accompanied by hands on assignment which I know extends the theoretical lessons exponentially, and It is one of the best ways to learn, especially online.

IMO most of the instructors were awesome, the content is tailored for all levels (from beginner to intermediate and somewhat useful even for advanced), the homeworks were insightful and the capstone is a great learning challenge.
There were minor UX issues like homework 5 being forgotten. I also think the price is a bit high for underdeveloped countries, easily 1-2 salaries of the average engineer that doesn't earn in dollars. I only managed to do it because of the higher discount I was able to get

Zach made this experience great. I did enjoy the other instructors but nothing compares to Zach yapping. I’m so sad it’s over. Not sure what to do with myself now.

AI Engineering, Databricks and Snowflake bootcamps all finished. Over 15 weeks of learning back-to-back.

Do the bootcamps if you want to hugely improve your skills, fill gaps in your knowledge and be inspired to do more.

Don't do it if you're lazy or won't put in the work; you'll just be wasting your money.

Higher level of knowledge is required to understand the teachings but the connecting dots that level is missing. As I felt the technique of code dry run is required at a slower pace may be by teaching assistants before jumping on project.

Apart from that Zac has really cool experience from every data bases available till date. But needs a lot of rigorously focused mind from students.
