I dag sælges Dyson-maskiner i over 65 lande. Fra ledningsfrie støvsugere til luftrensere til hårtørrere; en helt ny generation af teknologi er kommet i hænderne på Dyson-ejere over hele verden.

I was about to buy a cordless vacuum…

I was about to buy a cordless vacuum from them and had to contact customer service due to a technical issue in the promotion code… customer service was no help with the attitude of a robot or definitely and attitude of an offshore customer service hub in another country… didn’t help me at all while even showing proof on what’s going on!
Then I saw the other negative reviews and I believe it’s a good call to go to the competition that actually provide a good service

⭐ 1/5 — Premium products, unbelievably bad customer service

⭐ 1/5 — Premium products, unbelievably bad customer service

I genuinely regret buying Dyson after experiencing their after-sales support.

I own a relatively new Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx. The app tells me the HEPA + Carbon filter has reached 0% and needs replacing.

Simple problem, right? Buy a new filter.

Except Dyson Denmark has had the required filter out of stock for MONTHS.

That was the entire reason I contacted support. What followed was probably the worst customer-service journey I have experienced.

Their WhatsApp system sent me through menu after menu, troubleshooting questions for a FILTER PURCHASE, machine details, serial number, purchase-date questions, reconnecting to agents, conversations automatically closing because I apparently didn't respond quickly enough, and then starting the process again.

I finally reached a human. Then the chat was closed due to “inactivity” while I was trying to provide the information they requested.

I reconnected. Explained it again. Eventually an agent told me they had found the correct compatible filter and sent me the link.

Great — finally!

I opened it.

It was the EXACT SAME OUT-OF-STOCK DYSON PAGE I had already been looking at for months. 🤦‍♂️

That is literally why I contacted them in the first place.

After all of that, I still cannot buy the filter.

This is not some discontinued 15-year-old appliance. This is a premium Dyson air purifier that requires a consumable filter as part of normal operation. If you sell a product that depends on replaceable consumables, customers should reasonably be able to BUY THOSE CONSUMABLES.

And the MyDyson app itself knows my filter is at 0%. Why doesn't “Manage filter” simply take me to the correct purchasable replacement, show availability, offer a notification, or provide an alternative?

Instead, Dyson made me fight through one of the most frustrating support systems I have encountered, only to send me back to where I started.

The agents themselves were polite. The system surrounding them is the problem.

Premium pricing. Great marketing. But after-sales support and spare-parts availability like this completely undermine the product.

I would seriously think twice before buying another Dyson product.

Vaccume faulty

Unfortunately, my experience with the Dyson Airwrap was disappointing. From the very first use, the vacuum function would stop working just a few seconds after I turned on the appliance. I followed the instructions and expected it to work properly, but the issue persisted every time I tried to use it. Based on my experience, the product did not perform as advertised and was unusable due to this fault.

One star is too much!

One star is too much!
This product is abysmal and on par with cheap Temu junk. After two weeks, it's falling apart, and customer service is simply ignoring complaints. No answers to questions—shame on you! The battery has already reached the end of its life after only two weeks of use. Don't buy this plastic garbage; you'll regret it. Dyson Denmark is the worst company I've ever been to. You really earned those 1.8 out of 5 stars.

Heat-related marks after normal use and disappointing response from customer service

I bought a Dyson hair dryer, and after only a few months heat-related lines and stress marks appeared on the outer casing during normal use. This should not happen with a premium product at this price level. A hair dryer is designed to generate heat, so the outer surface should be resistant to normal operating temperatures.
I contacted customer service but was informed that the damage was considered my responsibility. I do not agree with this assessment, as the issue occurred during normal use. I expected better product quality and a more supportive response from Dyson.

No Order Flexibility and Extremely Slow Refund

I placed an order and tried to modify it within 5 minutes, but customer service told me it was already too late and advised me to refuse the delivery to get a refund. I did exactly that. When I contacted customer support again to request the refund, I was told it would take more than a month to process and that there was nothing they could do to speed it up. Very disappointing experience, poor flexibility, and extremely slow refund handling. I would not recommend ordering from them.

Poorest customer service

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent purchase and refund request with Dyson.

On 8 December 2025 , I purchased a [Product:Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 luftrenser og ventilator] (Order #[Ordrenummer: 1772053500) through your official website/store. Unfortunately, the product did not meet my expectations and I initiated a return/refund request on same day ( within 20 mins of order) but I have been informed i need to wait for product delivery & then return the product & then only I can get my refund which sounds weird to me that how can it be so fast that within 20 mins of order , it cannot be cancelled but still I believed & kept patience for such a long time 8 december 2025 till today ( 26 January 2026) but I am really frustrated now .

According to Dyson’s stated policies, refunds should be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item. However, it has now been more than 14 days since I returned the product, and I have yet to receive the refund or any clear communication regarding the delay.

During this period, I have reached out to customer service multiple times on phone calls/emails/chats but the responses have been unhelpful, inconsistent, and lacking transparency. On several occasions, I was promised follow-ups that never occurred, and I am still left without resolution.

This experience is unacceptable for a company of Dyson’s stature. The lack of timely communication and failure to adhere to your own refund policy reflects extremely poorly on your customer service standards.

Worst experience that can be expected…

Worst experience that can be expected from a high end brand. O bought a set of hair styler from them. When I received it there was scratch on it and I sent back to get a new one. No trace or confirmation that they revived and what is the status of the case. Every time I have to contact the support to ask and they just like a robot tell I will receive the new one latest 14 working days after they have revived my machine. Now it has been gone 12 working days and no mail no post notification and even when when I talked with support today they could not give me any over view that what is going on and repeated like robot I will receive it latest 14 working days after they have received my returned machine

Crap customer service (price match)

Misleading price match and non-existent transparency

I contacted Dyson Denmark before purchasing a Dyson V15 Detect Absolute to understand how their price match works.

Another Danish retailer was selling the exact same model at a much lower price. Dyson support repeatedly claimed they would “match the price” but refused to confirm whether the retailer was authorised, refused to explain the criteria, and refused to outline the process in advance.

The only guidance provided was to buy the product at full price from Dyson first, then contact them afterwards and hope the price match would apply. No written confirmation. No eligibility check. No accountability.

This is not a real price guarantee. It is opaque, customer-unfriendly, and shifts all risk to the buyer. I ended the conversation without a clear answer and without trust in Dyson’s sales process.

For a premium brand, this level of commercial transparency and customer service is unacceptable.

V8 Cyclone dead after 3 months - terrible customer service

Bought a V8 Cyclone in October 2025 directly from Dyson, via their website, expecting this to be the best option as a customer.

After just under 3 months of normal use and no signs of any issues, suddenly the machine would not start. Frustrating, but faulty units can happen with any product.
What has made my experience unacceptable, was what happened next, when I tried to get the problem solved via Dyson support.

Three days ago, I contacted their support hotline, to get help to try and resuscitate the machine, as their own diagnostic tool was pretty much useless in providing any steps or logical definitions of how to proceed with the issue.
Pretty quickly, it was determined by the support agent, that the issue lies with the main machine body, which needs to be replaced. The problem is, that the part seems to be unavailable. I was then asked if I wanted to check back in a couple days to see if the availability would change, or whether I'd want to send in the whole vacuum cleaner, to have it analyzed and fixed / replaced entirely. As this latter option would mean a lot of hassle, packing it all up safely and would mean I'd be waiting for weeks for a replacement, I opted to check back today, to see if the replacement part would be available instead.
It wasn't, so I was asked again if I wanted to wait to see if Dyson could sort out their part availability later in the week or wanted to send in the machine to initiate a diagnostic and then fix / replacement.

As the prospect of being without a vacuum for weeks is not an option, I asked to send in the machine for a refund instead, so I could sort out a different machine asap. Unfortunately they refused.

So now I'm left with waiting and hoping they manufacture spare parts, or use a lot of effort to send it in for repair and wait ages without a vacuum cleaner. Something that would've never been as bothersome, if I had bought the unit at a retailer.

So, I'm left with a product that:

- Stopped working very quickly, from normal everyday use
- Doesn't have spare parts available
- Requires resources on my end and time and effort, to have fixed

So a big recommendation if you need to go with a Dyson, based on how things stand with my experience: Don't buy the machine directly from Dyson. You may get the 60 day return option, but after that, you're severely disadvantaged, compared to buying the machine from a retailer, as Dyson does not seem interested in getting you up and running asap, leaving you high and dry, making their own part availability your problem.
There is seemingly very little in the way of customer service with Dyson.

I had expected better from Dyson.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim failure

I bought the Dyson V12 Detect Slim in December 2022. After just over two years of normal household use, the vacuum began shutting off after a few seconds.
Dyson support diagnosed a failure of the main body/cyclone and quoted 1,110 DKK for repair because the product is just outside warranty.
For a premium-priced product, this lifespan and durability are disappointing, and I do not consider this normal wear. It doesn’t seem to be built for years of use.
Potential buyers should be aware.

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever

I ordered a Dyson Airwrap in early November and never received the product. Two months later, I am still waiting for the refund I was promised. This is not just poor service—it is disgraceful for a brand that claims to be premium.

I have spent weeks trying to resolve this, making over 20 calls, sending countless emails, and even reaching out on social media. Dyson has ignored me at every step. I provided clear proof that the item was never delivered, yet they have done absolutely nothing.

This is beyond unacceptable. Holding on to a large payment for months without delivering the product or refunding the customer is unethical and feels like fraud. Dyson’s customer service is the worst I have ever experienced—worse than the cheapest, most unreliable online stores.

I will never buy from Dyson again and strongly advise everyone to stay away. If you value your money and peace of mind, do not trust this company.

Invoice not received & product registration issues

We ordered an airwrap on December 16, which was paid for. It’s been 11 days (today is December 27) and the invoice has not been sent.

Since there are issues with registering the machine, Dyson can register it on your behalf only if you sent them the invoice.

They are not able to access the invoice or send it within the day. We were told it will take 3-4 days for the invoice we requested to be sent to us and then we need to contact them again to register the product on our behalf. Very inefficient.

This should have been sent after the order was processed and paid for. It’s been 11 days and they still haven’t sent it. When requesting the invoice, now we need to wait another 3-4 days.

The customer service is bad, the organization structure is bad as well.

This should be standard process, not special request from customers to ask for invoice.

Poor customer service and product quality

In April 2025, I purchased a Dyson Airwrap. I used it carefully and kept it in pristine condition, so it was essentially like new. However, on December 6th, it suddenly stopped working while I was using it, then restarted briefly before stopping again. I contacted Dyson support via WhatsApp, and the representative suggested that the filter might not have been cleaned properly. I followed their instructions, but the issue persisted. They offered to send a new filter, assuming they had identified the problem.

However, I later realized that the issue wasn’t with the filter. I noticed that at the highest speed and temperature, the device would shut off within a couple of minutes, whereas at medium settings it would last about ten minutes, and at the lowest setting about fifteen minutes. It became clear that the device had an overheating issue, causing it to shut down automatically. I figured this out myself.

When I reached out again, Dyson created a repair request and provided a code, but the courier company didn’t accept it because their service provider in Denmark uses a different partner. When I reported that the code didn’t work, Dyson canceled that repair request and created a new one, promising a new code. Nearly a week passed, and I never received that code. It’s been almost twenty days since December 6th, and I still can’t use my device. It’s been a frustrating experience, and I’m very disappointed. I don’t believe the support representatives are truly experts, and my customer experience with Dyson in Denmark has been very poor. I won’t choose Dyson again in the future.

Extremely poor customExtremely poor customer service and unacceptable delayer service and…

Extremely poor customer service and unacceptable delay.
My Dyson air purifier and humidifier broke, so I sent it in for repair. Dyson informed me that it needed to be replaced instead. That’s where everything stopped.
The only way to contact Dyson is by phone — no proper written follow-up, no clear case updates. It has now been almost two months, and I still haven’t received the replacement. Worse, I haven’t even received a confirmation that it will be sent at all.
Two months without the product, without a replacement, and without any proactive communication is completely unacceptable for a premium brand. If this is how Dyson handles repairs and replacements, customers should think twice before paying premium prices.

Keeps your money if you return a product.

They apparently do not refund if you regret your purchase and return the product.
I bought a fan advertised as a cooling fan. But it’s just a noisy and pretty much useless fan. I sent it back after a week.
Now nearly half a year later I have still not received the refund. I have called them around 10 times they say the same every time. Something about the issue has been sent to different that will sort the issue. I get an email that I can reply to and then nothing happens. They have told me they received the package but have some internal IT issues.

Stay away from this company. Overpriced products and no support.

Customer service that made me dislike the brand

My nightmare with Dyson started the moment my vacuum broke after the guarantee expired. I was actually happy at first, I thought, “Great, I don’t need a new one, I can just fix it!” So after chatting with Saurbh on WhatsApp, I paid 950 kr right away, expecting the process to be simple.

They told me I’d get the repair label within a few minutes, 24 hours at most. Of course, nothing came. After a day of silence, I reached out again and got the same guy, who assured me that their “dedicated team” (whatever that means) would contact me in 3–4 days. Spoiler: they didn’t.

Four days later, I tried again and spoke with Geetika. Same script. “Wait 3–4 days. We’ll escalate. Supervisor involved. Blah blah blah.” You know, the usual customer service fairy tale. Then I spoke to her again. Then Vimal. Then a few more. Each time it was like talking to a copy-paste bot. I must have contacted them 6–7 times, and every single time it was the same useless promises.

Finally, when I called, someone admitted that my case hadn’t even been handed over to the repair company. So she “tagged it properly” and said, “Now just wait 4 more days.” Guess what? I waited. Nothing happened.

That was the last straw. I called to cancel and get my money back. The agent (can’t even remember her name) told me to let her “fix it,” but I didn’t care anymore. I just canceled. She promised I’d get my money back in 14 working days.

Do I even need to say it? No money came. I chased them again on WhatsApp. Vimal (again) told me it hadn’t been canceled. So I told him to cancel it immediately and not leave the chat until I had the confirmation email. Amazingly, this was the very first time they actually delivered something.

Fast forward 14 days later, still no money. I reached out again. This time Monalika and Karandeep joined the parade, repeating the same robotic nonsense: “Please contact your bank. Please wait 4 days.” Blah, blah, blah.

So here I am. No money. No repaired Dyson. Just weeks of wasted time and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I ended up buying a new vacuum, from another brand, obviously. Dyson? Never again. I know my little rant won’t matter to a giant company, but seriously, how can a brand this big treat customers this badly?
