Absolute disaster of a company. Sent my X5 in for a repair on something that was under warranty. Got it back a day later and the same lights came on within 24 hours emailed and phone numerous times with no response. Had to bring to Joe Duffy in Dublin and was done within a few hours at Eight hundred euros out of my own pocket. Stay away from them.

This place is a joke. Waited over 3 hrs for an oil and brake fluid service. Car was in the garage for 41 minutes yet I waited the three hours. €220 + vat for 41 mins labour not including oils and filter. Total robbery. Will never step foot in this place again.

I bought a used car from Colm Quinn, Athlone, today. I was looked after by Robert who treated me so courteously and professionally. While the car was a used one he made the whole deal feel as if I had just bought the most expensive new car they had!!! All the staff I met were so courteous it was a joy to deal with them. My first but definitely not my last time to deal there.

I’ve had a reasonably good experience with Colm Quinn Athlone. However they cannot service my car until September which is four months away. Very disappointing for a premium brand car. I love the car but the lead time for a service is unacceptable.

I recently purchased a 2 year old BMW at Colm Quinn BMW Athlone with Rob McGrath. Rob was happy to go back and forth and answer my many many questions on the spec before I visited the showroom. When I did he gave me plenty of time to take the car for a decent run. The rest of the team are equally helpful, from payment to car hand over. Generally very pleasant atmosphere in the showroom. I['m sure I'll have questions as I get used to the car and I'm equally sure they will be there to help.

Trying to book my car in for a service and some other minor work. In doing so, it’s next to near impossible to get it booked in. Garbage website doesn’t work. Emails were also sent, no reply. Phone calls as well not been answered. They need a good reality check in communication skills. Stay well clear from here. Drogheda Branch.

Sadly a downgrade from my previous five star review. I have been a customer of Colm Quinn BMW for a number of years.
They are one of the most frustrating companies to deal with because they alternate between being good and appallingly bad.
When they're good they're excellent - but lately I've just had more and more consistently negative experiences. The poor customer service appears to stem from a lack of training combined with what seems to be a frequent staff turnover in the service department. My most recent experience was having parking sensors replaced. The Z4 from research, appears to have issues with regular failure of parking sensors. I have been told that they cannot be disabled.
I opted to wait for my car in the showrooms in Drogheda as I was told that the process would be fairly seamless. I could see through the large glass windows that three people seemed to be struggling with the back bumper and the car was up and down on the hydraulic car lift numerous times. During those five hours was offered not a single update. Staff were aware that I was sick with pneumonia and yet did not think to offer me a lift home until the car was fixed. I drove home and within 30 minutes, a sensor beside the recently replaced one had broken. One month on and yesterday another sensor has failed. I called and left a message for the service manager - I have not received a return call to date four days on.
Each replacement incurs significant costs primarily in terms of time lost, effort to get there and of course the financial impact.
When I upgrade I will not buy from Colm Quinn BMW. Glitzy showrooms but no substance behind them. I've had similar poor experiences with Colm Quinn Athlone so at least they're consistent in something I suppose! Let's hope I don't have a phone call from Mr Quinn like I did the last time literally screaming down the phone and bullying me into removing my review immediately.

Having dealt with Colm Quinn BMW, Athlone, for a lot of years, and bought many cars there, we were delighted to take delivery of our new BMW X1 this week. We experienced 5 star customer service from Robert McGrath and Sam Polak who were both very professional throughout the deal from first visit through to taking delivery.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, and on our day of collection, a courtesy car was waiting at the train station to take us to the showroom.
The handover went very smoothly, with everything explained to us in great detail, and we left the garage with a feeling of great satisfaction and comfort in the knowledge that we can be assured of first class aftercare if needed.
A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Bad service from Colm Quinn Athlone.
Waited for a recall from last November for the 19 of February. 24. They have just canceled it to day 15 02 25
And they still can't give me a date to deal with this recall.

Great service on purchase of X5 last year. Roll on 11 months and they won’t return a message, a phone call or acknowledge and email. I got the absolute runaround trying to claim a warranty headlight that had fogged up. Drove to a Dublin dealer today and they ordered the replacement part from seeing a picture on my phone. If you’re thinking of buying from them, I’d advise strongly against as the last 6 weeks of hassle was resolved in 5 minutes today in Dublin by a sensible dealer.

Sales team very unhelpful chap called Saul asked me send over pics of my car do he could give a trade in price on a car I was liking at … Said he would come back first thing in the morning…. Weeks ago .. steer clear

Contacted their Galway operation at 4.30 on a Friday and made appointment to travel up and see particular car. Appointment booked in. Arrived following morning to be advised that car had been sold at 5pm on Friday. Salesperson stated did not know much and indicated that he had only just found out, but as we looked at other ones he was able to tell us specific details like lady traded and gave indication of deal. Basic point he knew the full details and could have phoned us and saved us a trip. Looked at other cars same day, he eventually got details on one we were interested in and indicated that he would whats app and email on data same day. So this is Tuesday not A WORD. For main dealer crap service. Went to Conlon's and Keary's subsequently and very professional. Given that they don't respond to Trust Pilot underlines that they don't care.

My partner bought a car here and we were served by Khyri. This gentleman gave us FIRST CLASS TREATMENT right from viewing, through whole process of purchasing the car right upto the day we collected it. Excellent service, a great listener, explains well and values customers. We will be back again for my upgrade. Hats off Colm Quinn & Khyri you a legend !!!

Khyri was warm and welcoming when we went in to collect my sister’s mercedez benz. He was patient in showing us the specs and how to go about operating everything. It’s amazing how he went out of his way to get some tiny bits fixed that we had not even noticed when we had gone for the test drive. Full fuel tank was the cherry on top 🥂

I had my car recalled today for a BMW fault- BMW are aware of this fault and do not offer a courtesy car. They should be prepared for a recall. I was told my car could be gone for up to 2 weeks. Very disappointing service, I have contacted BMW Ireland about this and will be going further with the matter.

Absolute JOKE of a place there customer service is absolutely shocking they tell you they will for example send you a video of a particular car and a month later still no video after numerous calls and texts to Andrew Williams and Tilly. I will definitely be sticking with Joe Duffy as they actually appreciate and value their loyal customers

Rang these guys to purchase my new car, told them what I wanted, money I had to spend, that evening I was sent pics of cars and I liked one based in galway, next day I had call to say car was in athlone ...seen car and after driving it for miles with the nicest salesman cormac, it was definitely for me, nessa took me through the financial side, everything was explained in great detail, she went above and beyond for me, john the sales man went over car and I didn't get it until all checks were completed, finally went back recently for recall and everything went smoothly, I had a loan offered and my car was ready same day, john reilly is a gent to deal with, showroom is immaculate, tea coffee and waiting area available, fridge well stocked with juices and water. Noticed to there was a children's play area, well done guys and I will be back again to upgrade, thanks so much

I purchased a new bmw 420i m sport convertible and every aspect of my experience was truly amazing . Rob McGrath was my sales person, a gentleman that exudes sincerity and professionalism. His advice was invaluable, and his patience infinite when I was choosing accessory packages . He listened respectfully and wasn’t pushy, allowing me to make choices that I’m delighted with.True to his word, in every way, he in fact went beyond the call of duty on a number of issues for me, and was remarkable in his approach. Within the week of getting my car, I had an issue with noise coming from the wheels, Rob suspected, quite rightly that it was merely a stone caught in the wheel and breaks. HOWEVER, in order to assure me, my car was examined immediately, with wheels and breaks detached , taking the mechanics 2.5 hrs ! Of course there was nothing wrong with my car, as the stone had fallen out on the journey !! This type of service is somewhat akin to me buying a pair of shoes and returning them to the shop , because a stone got into them !! Yet at all stages I was listened to with respect and nothing was too much trouble for Rob and Alan. I need to mention Tilly, who was just a delight to work with in the handover, showing me so many of the fab features of my car, again nothing was too much trouble and indeed she has followed up on me to see how my motoring experience has been. In all and every aspect of my experience with Colm Quinn’s team in Athlone , my faith has been restored, given the wonderful experience that I have had, which augurs well for my future servicing relationship going forward ! I simply cannot speak more highly of them and enthusiastically encourage friends and family to go no further than Colm Quinn’s Athlone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
