Good pricing and customer service.
Do note that the 7 return period starts from the moment the book is sent instead of when it arrives, so if you buy something second-hand and the shipping takes longer than 2-3 days you should contact them to prevent any awkward situations. I found out about this the hard way, but they were very helpful and quick to respond to my emails (even during the weekend) and refunded me for the book themselves.

They take a lot of money from the sale price of the books

as an expat who moved to the NL two years ago, and an avid book reader, I quickly realised that second hand books buying is really bad in the NL. Amazon does not have it yet and there are no other good services which can give reliable second hand books or similar. Book match not only provides this service but also has proven reliable in terms of quality.

This is an honest review of my experience with Bookmatch, which was very positive. Books in the Netherlands are quite expensive, so I was happy to find a used book I needed. I was able to chat with the seller, which was a great feature since the book was out of print. I appreciated that all my questions were answered promptly. I highly recommend Bookmatch for their trustworthiness and would definitely buy from them again in the future.

All went well. Received my book in good condition in less than 10 days.

From a seller perspective, finally a platform with enough audience to get rid of those bulky old books without having to deal with Marktplaats. Selling proces is intuitive.

Negative, for cheaper books (< 15 euros), shipping and fees from bookmatch consume up-to 60% of the profit. Its barely worth the money and time.
For more expensive books, the bookmatch fees become too high, there could be a ceiling.

(Second negative, buyers expect mint condition books of 10 euro, thereby leaving bad reviews to the seller... but that is not related to the platform.)
