Be prepared to be failed by AGO staff
I was hired fairly quickly and remained with AGO until I had life prolonging surgery 4 months after starting. I lost one or two days of pay due to not being notified by AGO I needed to work. Do not expect a call back from the placement agents after being told you will receive one, or two. It is all lip service. You are told anything to either get you off the phone or to get you out of the office.
There are not many effective placement agencies in Belgium yet they over promise and under deliver. AGO in Oostende at Crumbel has the typical patronizing, condescending tones like a parent speaks to a child. Valuable employees are not moved to another company, like in my case. I was told I can not come back due to me being hired into a 2 shift system? That should tell you what you are worth to them. No flexibility and in the end, a crap service to be associated with. AGO gives job agencies a bad reputation.
