Christmas presents to each other.
Work work work. My wife and I finally decided we need to share more time together and the Aventon bikes experience was perfect! Finally getting outside on the weekends Laughing and riding together we haven’t done it for years. Now we have an awesome excuse to get some fresh air and we love our bikes. Perfect early Christmas present to each other. The E bikes are the perfect gift when you have run out of ideas to get each other. The bonus is it’s the “time together” we appreciate. Gosh it is so nice outside again.

Aventon Ramblas crank and peddle sets
I stripped out the right crank on my Aventon Ramblas so I ordered a crank set and a set of peddles. I feel the parts were reasonably priced and arrived sooner than I expected. No problem with the peddles but the crank arms both had nicks on them because they were shipped without packing. Each part was in its own heavy plastic bag and then all three parts( 2 crank arms and the front sprocket carrier) were in another plastic bag and all was in a box. I was a little miffed at finding that both crank arms had a couple small chips down to the aluminum. But what the hey; it’s a mountain bike, right? I installed them and they fit perfectly. There are three Aventon bikes in my garage- I’ve always received excellent service and support from Aventon.

I love my pace 5. I am exploring new areas of my town. I recently went on a 40 mile ride on the Tunnel Hill trail in Southern Illinois. This weekend I'm planning to go to the MTC trails in Collinsville, IL. I purchased a cooler bag to carry lunch. The staff at the Cyclery in Shiloh, IL was terrific to work with. They put my back rack on my bike. I am planning to do the Katy Trail ride next year.
