The family is welcoming and attentive, always ready to answer questions. Thanks to Au Pair Care and the family, we’re lucky to be able to travel, t’s a way to grow and learn about ourselves. It's not always easy, we miss our family and friends in France, but we shouldn't give up on everything right away, we have to let things take their course. It's the adventure and experience of a lifetime !
I loved all the memories I got to make with my host family, as well as the new friends I got to make along the way. Even just exploring the area and getting to experience all the seasons meant so much to me! Thank you AuPairCare for all that you do in the life of Au pairs!!
Everything are perfect here with my host family! I've already traveled with them and it was very cool! I'm really feeling part of the family.

It’s been a month and a couple of days since I have been here and I am enjoying the experience so far. On Monday the 31st I will be turning 24 and I am excited about that. My host family is nothing but good to me, me and my host child are inseparable now.

It have been the best experience that I couldn’t imagine so far, besides living in the American culture and learn more about it, I also know more about myself and grew up a lot here. I try new things that I never thought that I will do someday, and of course the best part is that I knew more people from all aver the world including my host families and AuPair friends. So now I have another family in another country too.

I went to a YOASOBI concert with my host mom. Their music and unique world were amazing, and I had such a great time!
I’m slowly getting used to my life in Seattle, and I’ve really been enjoying going out and having meals together with my host family. Every little moment of my everyday life here is so much fun and has become a precious treasure to me.
I’m so grateful for all these wonderful experiences and memories.

My two-year experience with AuPairCare was such a special and life-changing chapter of my life. The program gave me the opportunity to live in the USA, become part of a family, build meaningful relationships with my host kids, travel, meet people from all over the world, and grow so much as a person.
I really appreciated the pre-departure information and preparation, as it helped me understand what to expect and feel more confident before starting my Aupair journey. Throughout the program, I also found the online portal to be a great resource for important information, guidance and helpful resources.
I really enjoyed AuPairCare’s social media, as it provided helpful tips, reminders, encouragement and a way to see other Aupairs’ experiences.
The Aupair community was another part I really valued. Connecting with other Aupairs made it easier to feel supported, build friendships and share experiences with people going through the same journey.
I am very grateful to AuPairCare for giving me the opportunity to have this experience, and I would definitely recommend the program to anyone considering becoming an Aupair!

I’m enjoying all the experience, i was looking for an exchange program where I could travel and visit new places, and with this one I’m able to do. Also, all the time that i needed to talk with my LCC to ask something, she always answered quickly and helped me.

I had a really good experience with AuPairCare during my J-1 Trainee program, where I worked as a Marketing Intern. It was a great opportunity to learn about marketing in a different environment and also experience the cultural exchange that comes with the J-1 program.
Sarah, the Vice President, Patti, Director of Communications, and my two managers were all very good guides during my time there. They were always supportive, patient, and willing to help me when I had questions or needed advice. I really appreciated having people around me who wanted me to learn and improve.
The work environment was also very nice and welcoming. I always felt comfortable being myself and sharing my ideas, even when English was not my first language. I think everyone at AuPairCare is a great representation of what cultural exchange should be about: learning from each other, meeting people from different backgrounds, and creating a positive experience.
I am very thankful for everything I learned, the people I met, and the experience I had with AuPairCare. It was a very important part of my professional and personal growth, and I would definitely recommend the program to other international trainees.

My experience with AuPairCare has been absolutely amazing, and I honestly could not have asked for a better organization to guide me through such a life-changing experience. Choosing to become an au pair and move from South Africa to the United States was a huge decision, and although I was incredibly excited, I also had many nerves and questions about what my new life would be like. From the very beginning, AuPairCare made me feel supported, prepared, and confident about taking this big step. ❤️
Throughout the entire process, from the application and matching process to preparing for my departure, I always felt like I had people who were there to help me. Whenever I had questions or needed clarification, the communication was helpful and reassuring. There are so many things to organize and think about when moving to another country, and having a team that understands the process makes everything feel so much easier and less overwhelming.
What I really appreciate about AuPairCare is that they understand that becoming an au pair is about so much more than simply travelling to another country. It is about personal growth, cultural exchange, gaining independence, building relationships, learning new skills, and becoming a more confident version of yourself. AuPairCare helped prepare me not only for the practical side of becoming an au pair, but also for the emotional side of leaving your home, your family, and everything that is familiar to you.
Moving so far away from home can be scary. There are moments when you feel nervous, homesick, or unsure of yourself, especially when everything around you is new. Knowing that AuPairCare is there to support you gives you an extra sense of comfort. It makes you feel that even though you are far away from home, you are not completely alone.
I am especially grateful for the support and guidance I received before my departure. The communication from the AuPairCare representatives helped me feel more prepared and gave me confidence that I was making the right decision. They were there to answer my questions, explain things when I was unsure, and help me understand what to expect from the au pair experience.
The matching process was also such an important part of my journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity AuPairCare gave me to find a host family that I could start this new chapter with. Finding the right host family can feel like a very big and sometimes overwhelming decision, but having the support of the program throughout the process made it feel much more manageable.
Since starting my journey, I have already learned so much about myself. Being an au pair has challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone, become more independent, trust myself, and handle situations that I may not have experienced before. I know that this experience is going to help me grow not only personally, but also professionally and emotionally.
I would 100% recommend AuPairCare to anyone considering becoming an au pair. If you are someone who dreams of experiencing life in another country, working with children, learning about a different culture, meeting new people, and challenging yourself to grow, I truly believe this is an incredible opportunity.
Of course, it is completely normal to be scared before making such a big move. I was nervous too. But sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and trust that something amazing can come from stepping outside of your comfort zone. AuPairCare gave me the opportunity to take that leap, and I am so grateful that I did.
I am incredibly thankful to the entire AuPairCare team for all the guidance, support, encouragement, and care they have given me throughout my journey. ❤️ Thank you for helping make this dream possible and for giving me the opportunity to experience something that I know will have an impact on my life forever.
If I could choose all over again, I would choose AuPairCare every single time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you, AuPairCare, for helping me turn a dream into reality and for being part of the beginning of one of the most exciting chapters of my life. ❤️🇿🇦🇺🇸

I had the best experience with AuPairCare! It was the perfect balance between experiencing life abroad, meeting so many amazing people, gaining experience and having the opportunity to travel and explore new places. The agency really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the whole experience.
It’s truly a life changing experience 💚

The AuPairs very clearly have limited vetting. It appears this agency is more about getting money that is non-refundable than providing reasonable care. Even if an AuPair ends a match without providing a legitimate reason, the AuPair is in no way penalized. Yet the host family has to eat the cost invested and that money is just gone.

I chose AuPairCare because I was promised comprehensive on-site care and support. Unfortunately, I had to cut my stay in the U.S. short after a very short time. While the placement with the host family went smoothly, the reality on the ground did not match the agreements in any way. When problems arose, the promised crisis support completely failed. Furthermore, I was told far too late that there were other people at the agency who could have helped me with the matching process.
During the rematch phase, I was placed in a very expensive hotel without any active assistance. The subsequent support from the Area Director was marked by unprofessional pressure, accusations, and comparisons rather than offering me structure or support in my search for a new family.
Despite these demonstrable shortcomings in support, the agency categorically refuses to refund even a portion of the program fees. Anyone who values reliable support in difficult situations is, unfortunately, in the wrong place here. I am deeply disappointed by how young people in exceptional circumstances are treated here.

I would like to thank my AC Ana McGee. She is the best. She was so helpful in every aspect. I could always text her and ask for help. She was always there for me and she supported me in every step. There’s no better AC.

My Au Pair year has been an incredible experience that I will never forget. I was lucky to have a wonderful host family who always treated me with kindness and made me feel at home from the very beginning.
One of the best parts of this year has been the amazing friendships I made. I know I’m leaving with friends for life, and I’m so grateful for all the memories we shared together.
The LCCs were also amazing. They were always there to help us whenever we needed anything, and they organized so many fun activities throughout the year that made the experience even more special.
Of course, the winter was very cold, but it was worth it! I had the opportunity to travel, discover so many beautiful places, and experience life in the United States in a way I never could have imagined.
It makes me really sad to say goodbye because this year has been one of the best experiences of my life. I will always be thankful for everything I learned, the people I met, and all the unforgettable memories I’m taking home. ⭐️
