Not honest about the true cost
It is unbelievable to me how many good reviews this place has. The course itself was all fine and good, but it’s the greediness of these people that blow me away. The first thing that you will discover, is there is no volume to the lessons. I didn’t really have a problem reading each lesson, but if you do want volume provided, where the lesson is being spoken to you, you’ll have to pay another $15. Are you kidding? No thanks. I want completion of the course, you will find out that your certificate will be held hostage for 24 hours. It’s not that they can’t send it to you right away, because if you want to pay $15 they won’t make you wait 24 hours. Are you kidding me. Is this a joke? Anywhere you can make a buck, no problem, bleeding your customers dry. I mean, it would be one thing to have been told these two things upfront so they could be factored into your decision to sign up for this course. I think what bothered me the most is these for sprung on me as a surprise once I had already paid and started the course. That’s the part. I did not appreciate.

To clarify, the majority of our courses already include voiceover at no additional cost. For a few lower-priced programs, voiceover is offered as an optional add-on so we can keep the base course price as affordable as possible for students who are comfortable reading the lessons. That said, we are actively reviewing whether we can include voiceover more broadly in all programs in the future.
Regarding certificates, completion certificates are processed and sent daily. Our system displays when and how the certificate will be delivered throughout the student journey, beginning when the student first enters the course, so students can see what to expect before they complete it. Depending on when a course is completed, students typically receive the certificate the same day or by the following day at the latest. Priority processing is available only as an optional service for students who need the certificate immediately. We do not require students to pay extra to receive a digital certificate, and unlike many schools, we do not mail certificates and make students wait weeks for delivery.
Having said that, if this is how the process felt to you, then we clearly could have communicated it better. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and the positive reviews you mentioned reflect the experience we work hard to provide. We will be discussing your concerns with our team and reviewing how these options are presented to students.
