Extremely disappointed! The website failed to merchant failed to clearly disclose that ticket is non-refundable before I complete the purchase. I got charged higher amounts than I got announced, included foreigner transactions fee. Never again I would use these such of website. Customer support is weird and feel like a scam

I had a flight cancel because of bad weather. I was informed 20 minutes before boarding. After this I contacted and they said that I need to talk to the airline. The airline said it is not within there policy to compensate and is based off of the third party provider unless I booked directly. I have been extremely disrespected by this company and will never book with them again. Not only did it take 30 minutes to reply to a WhatsApp message when they said they had prompt customer service but I have called multiple times and got wait holds of longer than 10 minutes after 10 minutes it automatically sends you to voice mail. When I informed multiple times the plane was cancelled because of weather the company MartiGo did not want to recompensatw when the plane company EVA was not helpful in there process either. This has resulted in me doing 18hr layover at the airport until the next possible flight to my destination. Overall I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Saw some reviews that said things were add ons and upped the ultimate price. I thought I was 'safe' because nothing came up as I was going through check out.

After I 'paid', I didn't receive any email confirmation nor record with my bank of payment. I thought it odd, and several hours later in the day got an email that "During the final stage of your booking, the airline updated the fare in real time while you were completing the payment. Unfortunately, this change is beyond our control. The ticket price has increased by EUR198, which is required to issue the ticket.

You may choose one of the following options:

Option 1: We charge the additional EUR 198 to your card and issue the ticket immediately.

Option 2: We process a full refund to your card within 24 hours.

If we do not hear from you within one hour, the booking will be automatically canceled and refunded."

The time pressure was a real red flag, as was the retrospective no PNR was issued. Instead I decided to continue to explore my options and ultimately was able to find a better deal directly with the airline. It was very inconvinient to have to revist the task. I will note that they continued to email me well after the hour was up, so if you do want to take the offer you probably have more time than they say.

Ultimately, they didn't charge or hold any money, because they never made the booking.

As always, avoid online travel agencies!

All went well until when the payment charged to my card was higher than quoted. After checking with Martigo, that was due to currency exchange when they charged my card after few days of booking transaction. Normally they shall only charge what was quoted upon booking confirmation, and Not any extra amount after booking was confirmed. This is considered cheating, as all transaction amount shall be based on the exact amount charged upon booking received. I have read the same review somewhere , hence this is a reminder to others not to fall for their trap- to appear cheapest in Google booking platform and charge you additional after few days!!

I would stay away from from Martigo. I booked a ticket in my local currency, but when I received my credit card statement, the amount charged was significantly higher. When I contacted customer service, they explained that the discrepancy was due to their system operating in euros and currency exchange fluctuations.
However, the situation became more concerning when I was charged an additional amount the day after my purchase, without any explanation. I’ve reached out to customer service about this as well, but their response time has been very slow. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience, and I would advise others to be cautious.

Booked a ticket, made a one letter typo in my name and they were powerless to do anything about it. I paid 343.99 GBP offered a refund for 235 EUR.

Figured the site was sketchy, but since it came through Google Flights I'd give it a go. I fully regret this decision. If they can fix the situation I'm happy to bump this back up to five starts.

Terrible. I would have given them 0 star if I could. After 3months of emailing I haven't recieved my refund yet, and the amount I am being reimbursed for the flight doesn't seem correct to me, but nobody cares to respond clearly.
They are cheaper because the tickets have so many limitations and their customer service is very poor.

I called into customer service when we got stuck on an island in the Philippines and need to reschedule flights with only 5 hours before departure. Dianna was courteous and professional and helped take away the stress. All sorted!

I booked a flight through Martigo because the price looked cheaper than other sites. About 20 minutes after completing the booking, I received an email saying I needed to pay additional money before they would issue the ticket. This was never mentioned anywhere during the booking process.
After researching online, I found many other reviews describing the exact same situation — customers book a flight at the advertised price and are then contacted afterward and asked to pay more.
This kind of practice is extremely misleading. A price should not be advertised if the company is going to demand more money after the booking is already completed.
I cancelled the booking immediately before any ticket was issued, and thankfully the cancellation was completed. Based on this experience and the number of similar complaints online, I would strongly recommend that people be very cautious before booking with Martigo.

New company for me, but I was positively surprised about them. Cheaper prices and easy to book the flights.
When we requested support and assistance from them, because of air traffic issues in Arabian Golf generated by the new Israel/US-Iran conflict, they were supportive and friendly. Dianna helped us with flight cancelation and provided all required support and information. Thank you, Dianna for prompt and professional response!

⭐☆☆☆☆ - TOTAL SCAM – DO NOT USE

I cannot warn people strongly enough: stay far away from Martigo.com. What we experienced was nothing short of a bait-and-switch scam.

We selected 2 tickets advertised at $888. Seemed reasonable, so we proceeded to payment. Once the transaction went through, we were charged $2,380.30 – nearly THREE TIMES the advertised price. Absolutely outrageous.

We immediately called to cancel and request a refund, as the tickets were listed as "refundable." What happened next? They hit us with a €50 cancellation fee. On a booking we tried to cancel within minutes, because THEY misrepresented the price.

This company deliberately advertises low prices to lure customers in, then charges dramatically more once they have your payment details. The "refundable" label is meaningless – they'll find a way to keep your money regardless.

This is predatory, deceptive, and frankly disgraceful. We will be disputing the charge with our bank and reporting this to consumer protection authorities. I only wish I had read reviews before booking.
