We were kicking off AI Fest 2.0, where we look at how at TC we are using AI to Rethink, Adopt and Grow. We are also celebrating the people who have been pushing our AI strategy forward in all departments. We've seen great success the last 12 months with AI, but we are still just at the beginning of this transformation, there's a lot more greatness to come!

Jeremy Smith شارك ذلكGreat update, and proud to add to it! Sales up 11%, UK leisure up 17%, TTAND performing strongly. Behind those numbers is exactly what Steve describes: TCs who know their customers, take responsibility for their trip, and are there when it matters. The part I want to build on is the last line, about technology, data and AI amplifying that. We're already seeing it in how TCs are using TC Copilot, and the feedback from our own community has been outstanding. Not adoption for its own sake, but AI freeing up time so TCs can spend more of it on the relationship, not less. Another record year ahead, and I think the AI and data story is going to be a bigger part of it than most people expect. #TravelCounsellors #AI #Community #LeadershipJeremy Smith شارك ذلكI was pleased to share our latest trading performance, with Group sales up 11% year-on-year over the past four weeks and our UK premium leisure business up 17%. TTAND, the Canadian business we invested in earlier this year, is also performing very strongly. A huge thank you to everyone across our community who has contributed to that performance - our Travel Counsellors, like those pictured here, and our wider community of colleagues and supplier partners. It’s good to see trading recover so strongly following the disruption caused by events in the Middle East earlier this year. At times like that, our priority is what it always is: caring for our customers. That’s what peace of mind in travel really means: having someone who knows you, takes personal responsibility for your trip and is there when you need them. As one of our Travel Counsellors wrote to me recently, “whatever happens, we bounce back stronger.” I see that spirit every week on TCTV, where we share some of the brilliant customer feedback our TCs receive, but also recognise the many ways people across our community step up to help each other. As we head towards another record year, we’ll continue investing to help our Travel Counsellors build successful, enduring leisure and corporate travel businesses around trusted customer relationships, backed by our scale and strong supplier partnerships. The part that matters the most to me is the work behind it. I'm trying to make a real impact on travel with AI, not just adopt tools because everyone else is. The industry needs to change how it thinks about this. Too much of the conversation is still stuck on efficiency and cost-cutting. The bigger opportunity is rebuilding how the industry actually works, for advisors and for customers. Great to meet the other 29 last week. Sharp group, doing interesting things across the industry. Looking forward to working with them through the rest of the year. A fantastic opportunity, and one I don't take for granted, looking forward to what the future brings!

Adopt. Grow. 🌱 A lot of enterprise AI initiatives get stuck in high-level slide decks or isolated experiments. What I appreciate about our approach at Travel Counsellors is how deliberate and practical it is. The goal is to build the most personal, productive and connected platform for travel entrepreneurs, using technology to free up time for the human connections that software cannot replace. ✨ Across the company, colleagues are jumping into hands-on AI Labs, learning safe prompting with ChatGPT Enterprise, working within our AI Care Code, and exploring real use cases in Excel, PowerPoint and content creation. 💻 From my side as an AI Champion and engineer, my focus is on two practical fronts: 🌐 1. Bringing the outside in. Frontier AI and agent tooling move fast. My role (self-assigned) is to track the most useful external advancements, test what actually works and translate those capabilities into safe, repeatable practices our teams can rely on. ⚡ 2. Accelerating engineering with agentic AI. We are actively moving beyond basic autocomplete. By introducing structured agent workflows, multi-agent pipelines and shared engineering skills across our repos, we are cutting developer toil and unblocking backlogs faster. 🚢 To keep that work grounded in reality, I recently joined our Cruise team on a temporary basis. Rather than talking about agentic development in the abstract, I am applying these tools directly to help the team ship a high-value product to the business.
