Today, all I need to do is sign into Aurasell AI and ask "I've just returned from holiday after being out last week. Can you please create me a recap of what I missed last week and what the key action items are for all my accounts/opportunities this week?" In less than 60 seconds, I have a full actionable report to catch up and action. Imagine trying to do this with your revenue platform today.... Little proof points like this remind me of just how much the selling game has changed.

When SAFE acquired RiskLens, where I served as CEO, we set two ambitious goals for the combination. I'm proud to say we achieved both. 1. Become the undisputed leader in Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ). Forrester Research confirmed it in its second Wave report on CRQ, and the gap between SAFE and its nearest competitors was far wider than the lead RiskLens held in the first Wave report. 2. Automate FAIR at enterprise scale. Organizations can now run cyber risk management programs where 90% of risk analysis is automated, freeing their teams to focus on what matters most: remediation and real risk reduction. And we did so much more: → We quadrupled our revenue → We expanded into Third-Party Risk Management, becoming the first vendor to deliver 100% agentic (autonomous), truly risk-based TPRM → We expanded again into vulnerability management and CTEM, once more becoming the first to deliver a fully agentic, risk-based experience I'm deeply proud of what we contributed to the cyber risk management profession, bringing it unprecedented alignment with business objectives and a new level of automation through agentic AI. I'm grateful to SAFE's visionary CEO, Saket Modi, and to all the super-talented and wonderful people who made this journey with me, for all we accomplished together and the friendships we built along the way. I'll be rooting for your continued success as you keep innovating in cyber risk management and make cybersecurity superintelligence a reality. So what's next for me? Some of you have already asked whether "retiring" means tennis and travel. Let's just say I've never been very good at sitting still. 😉

My biggest reflection from the interview process? It forces a deep dive into core competencies. As I prepared, I found myself tracing my skills back across 15+ years. I realised that to this day, I still rely on at least one lesson passed down from each of the great leaders I’ve worked for. To those leaders, some of whom I haven’t spoken to in years, thank you. With that preparation behind me, I am thrilled to share that I am starting a new role Safe Security. Right now, I am in full "curiosity mode" as I enter into this space. I am deeply grateful for the trust the leadership team has placed in me, and I can't wait to build alongside the team. It was pretty rad to see the latest Synthesia tech in action at The Media AI Video for Comms Mixer, organized by Synthesia and Meredith Klein. They demo'd AI avatars conducting media training – something that used to be a very hands-on part of my job. Before a deep tech founder spoke with a journalist, I'd schedule 1-5 prep calls/mock interviews to make sure they were ready for every possible question – and, just as importantly, could explain their technology clearly. We'd build Q&A docs covering everything a journalist might ask. Last year, I started experimenting with Custom GPTs trained on those files, trying to scale the process. This felt particularly full-circle because I had my own AI avatar and synthetic voice created a while back and used it to turn parts of my PR playbook into videos so founders could watch instead of reading yet another document. Now, going from reading → watching → actually talking to the training material on a video call and getting scored in real time is a pretty fascinating evolution! It was also great to finally meet Alexandru Voica in person and connect with Jenny Drezin, Haley Brown, Katya Komarova, Brandi Boatner, Tiffany Guarnaccia and others. Very curious to see how quickly this becomes part of the standard comms toolkit.
