  • Next Tuesday we'll be back sponsoring the Salesfire Summit for the third time. At this point, it's safe to say we like it. A lot. We're looking forward to seeing the new Masters Suite at The Belfry, catching up with familiar faces (Darran Matthews Chris Garbutt Giles Eida & many more), meeting plenty of new ones, and almost certainly draining our social batteries before the day's over. Worth it every time. If you're attending, come and find us in the Exhibition Space. 👋 Joe Turner Ilan B. and Lauren Quayle will all be there. If CRO and experimentation are on your radar, we'd love to chat. We'll be sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly from the website experiments we've run over the past year. The winners, the flops, the surprising results, and the lessons that only come from testing things properly. And yes... we'll have sweets on the stand. So whether you need a sugar hit between sessions or just an excuse to stop by, we've got you covered 🍬 See you on Tuesday! #SalesfireSummit

  • Just 2 days to go until the Dotdigital Summit. If you’re heading to Old Billingsgate on Thursday, come and find the Proof3 team - Ilan B. Joe Turner & Lauren Quayle - in the Partner Village. 🪧 We’ll be the ones with the very subtle “Website wins this way” sign… 📡 We’ll be giving live demos of RADAR – our free 5-minute website review that highlights conversion blockers and opportunities to improve your website. Bring your URL and we’ll put it through its paces. So whether you fancy talking eCommerce growth, AI or England's chances of finally bringing football home, come and say hello. P.S. We'll have sweets.

Time for my annual post iWeb & Proof3 Live thank you's. I am of course bias but I reckon it might just have been our best one yet. Thankfully the feedback form submissions so far back me up. New venue, new formats but ultimately still the same great energy and good conversations with good people. A few things that stuck with me; Trust is quickly becoming a visibility problem, not just a conversion problem. It’s no longer enough to be found. You need to be the brand that gets recommended. Most retailers aren’t struggling with a lack of ideas. They’re struggling with prioritisation. Knowing what to focus on, what to ignore, and how to actually get things done. The most interesting AI examples weren’t the flashy ones. They were the practical applications helping teams save time, improve decisions and remove friction. Perhaps the biggest takeaway was that despite all the noise around AI, the fundamentals haven’t changed nearly as much as people think. A massive thank you to all our attendees and sponsors, it (literally) wouldn't work without you. John Brolly Dan Ford Emilia Whitaker Sarah Logan David Nisbet Luke McFarland Dave O Leary Chris Atkinson Chris Garbutt Darran Matthews Chris Pendse Nadine Pote Nick Fox Andrés Mendoza Taylor And special mention to Ricki Larkin for compering, Ilan B. for chairing the panel session and Lauren Quayle & Tiago Faustino for a brilliant debut on stage.

  • Having been before, we know this is one of the top events in the eCommerce calendar. So when the opportunity came up to sponsor this year’s Dotdigital Summit, it was an easy yes. Ilan B. Joe Turner Lauren Quayle will be there on the day chatting about the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping eCommerce right now and giving attendees a chance to get hands-on with Sonar, our AI-powered search visibility platform. 📍 You’ll find us in the Sponsors Zone, so come and say hello (yes, we'll have swag/sweets) If you’ve not got your ticket yet, there’s still time - https://lnkd.in/etKfBVcK And if the chance to hear from some of the brightest minds in eCommerce wasn’t enough… Stephen from The Traitors is speaking too 👀 See you there.

  • We see lots of people selling “AI Search Optimisation” right now. Google’s latest guidance basically says: A lot of is nonsense. For the last 12 months we’ve seen a flood of new acronyms: GEO. AEO. LLMO. Along with endless advice about: - Chunking content - Creating llms.txt files - Publishing pages for AI bots - Engineering citations - “Prompt optimisation” for Google Google’s most recent guidance says something very different. If you want to perform well in Google Search, including AI-powered experiences: ✅ Build a technically sound website ✅ Create genuinely useful content ✅ Demonstrate expertise ✅ Give people information they can’t get everywhere else In other words… The same fundamentals that have worked for years. One line stood out: “You can ignore tactics like chunking content, creating unnecessary AI text files (like llms.txt), or pursuing inauthentic mentions.” That’s Google saying it, not us. The more interesting part is what they do recommend: → Create non-commodity content → Share real expertise → Build things worth referencing → Stay aware of how AI agents may interact with websites in future The irony? The businesses most likely to benefit from AI search aren’t the ones chasing AI search hacks. They’re the ones creating content, products and experiences that are genuinely useful. The technology is changing. The job isn’t. Clarity. Authority. Trust. Still the same game. You can check out Google's guidance here 👉 https://lnkd.in/esPp-iVT

Looking forward to this: The 8th annual iWeb & Proof3 Live: Commerce Conversations. This year, a big focus is on how buying journeys are shifting beyond the website. AI, reviews, communities, creators - customers are making more decisions before they ever land on your store. That changes a lot about how we think about growth, conversion, retention, and brand. A perfect place to discuss the changing shape of #product_discovery | #product_data | #ai_search | #agenctic_commerce | #ucp | #acp | #visibility #conversions #reach - Dan Ford from Athos Commerce - Sarah Logan Emilia Whitaker from Intuit Mailchimp - David Nisbet Luke McFarland Dave O Leary from Stripe - Chris Pendse from Trustpilot - Darran Matthews Chris Garbutt from Salesfire The day will contain keynote talks, fireside chats, roundtables, good food, drinks, and a really strong group of retailers already signed up. Grab your tickets here: https://luma.com/pnn7trle Thanks to Joe Turner Ricki Larkin for inviting us

  • Some events end up in the calendar because you “should” go. But the Salesfire Summit (8th Sep) is one we genuinely look forward to. We’re proud to be sponsoring it for the third time this year which probably tells you everything you need to know about the quality of the event. We can't stop coming back for more! This year’s event is also the first in the swish new Masters Suite at The Belfry. (strong rumours that Joe Turner Ilan B. will be wearing full golf attire) If you’re heading there, you’ll find the Proof3 team in the Exhibition Space across the day. And if you work in eCommerce and haven’t been before, we’d highly recommend it. Why? Because it manages to avoid feeling like another day of dull recycled conference slides, generic 'hot takes' and dry sandwiches. You get: ✅ Talks from retailers actually growing their businesses, sharing what’s worked and what hasn’t ✅ Workshops with practical insights you can take back and apply ✅ Proper networking with people facing the same commercial challenges you are ✅ Good food, good people and a chance to have meaningful conversations away from the daily grind In an industry full of noise, it’s one of the few events that consistently feels useful. See you there 👋
