Unfair Damage Allegation

Unfair Damage Allegation

1. Initial Inspection (9:00 AM)
The pick-up inspection at Noleggiare Milano Centrale was rushed and conducted in a dark garage with poor artificial lighting. The agent quickly highlighted major pre-existing windshield scratches but glossed over the rest of the car. Due to the darkness, micro-imperfections were impossible to see.

2. Vehicle Use & Return (4:30 PM)
The car was driven for under 2 hours, parked in a private area for 5 hours, and returned immaculate, clean, and fully refueled. Upon return, staff flagged a faint mark invisible to the naked eye without repeatedly rubbing it with a cloth, leaving it unclear if it was a scratch or just dirt.

3. Coercive Ultimatum
Because the mark wasn't on the initial sheet, the agent forced an ultimatum: pay €180 immediately (claiming insurance would cover it) or have the €800 security deposit frozen for weeks. The customer felt blackmailed by these high-pressure tactics.
