Review of yoummday

Not the best experience on my 1st project

My experience with Yoummday, TAS AG, and the Pergolux project was disappointing and raised a number of concerns around communication, transparency, and expectations.

When I joined the project, it was presented as a longer-term opportunity. However, it later became apparent that it was a limited pilot project. One of the concerns was that important information about the structure and management of the project was not clearly communicated from the beginning. I was not aware initially that TAS AG was also involved in managing aspects of the project, and this only became clear at a later stage.

From my perspective, there appeared to be communication issues between TAS AG and Yoummday, which created confusion for freelancers regarding the project status, expectations, and future opportunities. Clear communication between all parties is essential, especially when independent professionals are committing their time and resources based on the information provided.

After raising my concerns and making formal complaints, I also noticed that the English language opportunities that had previously been available on the Yoummday platform appeared to disappear. I cannot say what the reason for this was, but the timing was concerning and naturally led me to question how freelancer feedback and complaints are handled.

One important lesson from this experience is the value of researching the companies and projects you are considering working with. Looking into a company’s reputation, business history, reviews, and the experiences of other freelancers can provide valuable insight before committing time and effort.

My intention in sharing this experience is not to create unnecessary conflict, but to highlight the importance of transparency, effective communication, and fair treatment of freelancers within the gig economy.
