**Terrible experience with Yallo**
My internet has been down more than 3 months. Despite multiple calls, Yallo still hasn’t fixed the problem or given me a clear answer.
What is most frustrating is that they make it extremely difficult to terminate the contract. Even though they failed to provide the service, I was told I would have to pay an **early termination fee of over CHF 500 if I wanted to stop the contract.
So you are expected to keep paying for a service you are not receiving, or pay hundreds of francs to leave. This feels completely unfair.
**Think twice before signing a contract with Yallo.**
bad customer service
bad customer service. they keep sending me e-mails that they did not recieve cancellation of my contract with salt, even though i sent them the cancellation multiple times. they do not update their service tickets. When I finally reach them, they tell me that someone is going to call me back regarding my internet subscription, but nobody calls back.
They did not manage to connect my internet in 3 whole months. Horrible service, avoid at any cost. pay a bit more somwhere else. I did not have this experience with Salt or Sunrise.

DO NOT GO NEAR THEIR WEBSITE
i managed to accidentally sign up to a contract, that i didn't want, with no formal id or payment commitment - and they want to charge me CHF 100 to cancel it, because there is no option to cancel online.
With service like this - the only money they will be making is on the cancellation fees.
Wise up and you might actually get some customers!
And please dont insult me with your templated default response - only reply if you have a real solution.
Yallo’s self-service seems designed to make you call
I have experienced several issues with Yallo that make me seriously question whether these “low-cost” prices are partly achieved by making self-service unnecessarily difficult and then pushing customers towards the paid hotline (CHF 1.50 per call).
Here are some examples:
• eSIM: On the day my subscription was activated, I logged into my customer portal to look for the eSIM QR code. It simply wasn’t there, even though I had specifically requested an eSIM during the onboarding process. Nothing was provided in the customer portal or by email. The only way to obtain the QR code was to call the paid hotline.
• Smartwatch Twin option (CHF 4.50): After purchasing the option, I was unable to activate the cellular plan on my Apple Watch. The exact error message was “Unable to Configure Cellular Plan.” I had already gone through all the usual troubleshooting steps, including resetting the Apple Watch. Nothing worked, and I ultimately had to call the paid hotline to get the issue resolved.
• Cancelling Smartwatch Twin: If you want to cancel the Smartwatch Twin option, you are also forced to call the paid hotline. There is no way to cancel the option through the customer portal. So even cancelling a CHF 4.50 option requires a paid phone call.
• Number porting: During the porting process to another provider, Yallo failed to respond to the new provider, leaving the porting process blocked. Once again, I had to call the paid hotline to get the situation unblocked.
• SMS INFO service: In Switzerland, you can normally send the word “INFO” by SMS to 503 for free to query your mobile provider about important contract information, such as the contract end date, the next date when you can port your number free of charge, and any potential early termination fees. Yallo blocks this service. Once again, customers are pushed towards the paid hotline instead of being allowed to access this basic information through a free, standard self-service channel.
• Chat support: Yallo does have a chatbot, but after going through all the questions and explicitly asking to speak to a human, the conversation simply gets closed. The chatbot says that all agents are currently busy, without offering a way to wait or leave a message. This has happened regardless of the time of day I tried to contact them.
• Invoices: When receiving an invoice, the customer portal does not provide any details about what makes up the amount to be paid. The detailed breakdown is only available in the PDF version of the invoice — but the PDF cannot be downloaded immediately. The system tells you to wait several days, in my case almost a week. Interestingly, there is no such delay when it comes to making the payment.
Individually, these could perhaps be dismissed as technical problems. But when multiple essential processes repeatedly end with “call our paid hotline”, it creates the impression that the low subscription prices are compensated for by monetising customer support.
A low-cost provider should mean fewer extras, not deliberately frustrating customer service.
Yallo needs to improve its self-service tools and make basic operations — eSIM activation, smartwatch activation, number porting, cancellation, contract information, customer support and invoice access — work properly without forcing customers to pay CHF 1.50 simply to get help.
Very disappointing experience.
Slow customer service
Slow customer service, challenges with esims - had to install 5 times before it worked, and careful with the black service only data included not calls. T

Cheap becomes very expensive in wasted time
Yallo activated and charged us for internet at an active construction site, despite us explicitly asking them to postpone activation.
Zero usage, no equipment received, premises not even operational. Their answer: “It shows as active in our system, so you have to pay.”
Customer service is an endless cycle of useless chatbot conversations, copy-paste emails and busy phone lines.
If something goes wrong, expect to waste hours fighting their own systems. Cheap price, shockingly bad service. Never again.

0 stars!
I would give 0 stars if it would be possible. I don’t know how this company can still exist with the service that they offer. I had to get a new internet service because moved to a different address. I called them for how I could make this adjustment. The girl on the phone told me I had to switch to 5g (I was using fiber), because there was no fiber in the apartment. Turns out there was ONLY a fiber connection in the apartment and I had to send back the 5g box, and get a new fiber box. She didn’t even cancel my 5G, even though she told me she did. Now I received an invoice for 99chf for the 5g box, which I already returned. I cannot express in words how incompetent these people are and how terrible the service is, if you are reading this and was thinking about using Yallo as a carier, DON’T do it, it’s not worth it and you WILL regret it.

Terrible experience.
When it comes to processes, communication, and customer support, this is an extremely poor company that can't solve a single problem. You always have to pay for calls, you're connected to a different person every time, and the problem is never resolved. I’ve spent hours trying to resolve even the simplest issues, like changing my address. There’s a huge mess with the bills. The router I sent back to the company went missing, and in the end, I was charged fines.
Terrible experience. Forget problem-solving mindset.

Good in general but cannot be trust for technical issues
Yallo offers good value for money for both mobile and home internet services. The pricing is competitive, and for basic use, the service works well. However, there are several important limitations that potential customers—especially more technical users—should be aware of.
1. Home internet is IPv6-only, which can create compatibility issues for certain applications, self-hosted services, and advanced network configurations.
2. The router provides virtually no access to advanced network settings. Features such as port filtering and other security-related options are unavailable, and customer service informed me that the web interface does not actually expose these capabilities.
3. Technical support has been extremely disappointing. If your issue requires escalation beyond first-line customer service, don't expect a timely resolution. Despite four phone calls and three support tickets, I never received the callback I was repeatedly promised.
If you only need a basic internet connection at a low price, Yallo may be a good choice. However, if you require advanced networking features or expect responsive technical support when problems arise, you may want to consider another provider.

The worst phone service company I have ever had
This is the worst phone service provider I have ever had. They advertise that it is possible to order a prepaid card with eSIM, but it is not. They say that it is free to switch from physical SIM to eSIM, but it is not. Instead, the system tries to charge me 40 CHF for the privilege and prevents the switch.
Do not use this provider.

Abusive behaviour
One month ago, I was threatened with a 100 CHF fine for not having returned my Wi-Fi modem, which I did return. Back then, I requested my chat transcripts, because they contained the proof of their confirmation of reception of my modem. After multiple emails, I am still waiting. Furthermore, an employee from Packli Punkt sent Yallo an email confirming that they did sign the reception of my modem when I sent it out. After more than 20 emails, I am still waiting for the Yallo "expert committee" to analyze my situation.

One star is more than they deserve for…
One star is more than they deserve for their technical support. I had been a happy yallo customer until last month, when my home internet stopped working. I created multiple support tickets through the chatbot, but nothing was resolved. Calling customer support costs CHF 1.50 per call, and I ended up calling three times in one month. Every time, I was told that my request had been forwarded to the technical team and that they would call me back. Guess what? It's been over a month, and I still haven't received any support or a single callback. They offered no alternative solution and showed no urgency in resolving the issue. This has been an absolutely terrible customer service experience. After waiting for more than a month, I've completely lost confidence in yallo. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I am in the US and so cannot call their…
I am in the US and so cannot call their "free-toll number" to change my subscription. Every time I start a chat to change it they just tell me all operators are busy. Then I send an email and they tell me to contact them via chat. To add insult to injury in my contract is says explicitly that after the initial period no extra fees will be charged for changing policy and now they want to give me a fee for chaning to another yallo plan!
Extremely time consuming and frustrating. I am willing to provide informations in case someone wanta to sue them.
Yallo did not honor the conditions that were promised to me
Yallo did not honor the conditions that were promised to me
I have been a Yallo customer for several years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing.
Background
I had a mobile subscription that included calls to destinations such as the USA and Canada at no additional cost. The subscription was originally under my partner's name, and I wanted to transfer it into my own name through a change of ownership.
Before proceeding, I specifically contacted Yallo and asked whether I would keep exactly the same subscription and benefits after the transfer. I was clearly told that I would, and that the only cost would be the CHF 50 ownership transfer fee. Based on this confirmation, I accepted the transfer.
What happened
One month later, after reviewing my bill, I discovered that my calls to the USA had been charged separately.
I contacted Yallo's customer service, and the agent confirmed that the benefits of my subscription were no longer the same after the ownership transfer. This was completely contrary to what I had been told before agreeing to the change.
To make matters worse, nobody was able to explain clearly why the subscription benefits had changed. The response I received was essentially: "Yes, your current subscription is different from the one you had before."
Yallo then proposed a different subscription plan, but it is still not equivalent to the plan and benefits I originally had.
Why this is unacceptable
I agreed to the ownership transfer based on Yallo's explicit confirmation that my subscription benefits would remain unchanged.
The information provided before and after the transfer was inconsistent and misleading.
Customer service was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation or solution.
Instead of restoring my previous subscription and benefits, Yallo attempted to move me to another plan.
As a long-standing customer, I expected much better. This issue is particularly frustrating because I had already experienced billing errors in the past.
At a minimum, I would expect Yallo to honor the commitment that was made to me before the transfer and restore the subscription and benefits I had originally agreed to keep.
I hope Yallo contacts me to resolve this matter fairly.
Updated - I was calling Yallo and I had a different experience today. Clear contacts, looking for solutions. So I changed my rating in more positive - from 1 star to 3 star (as it consumed me a lot of time)

SCAM Terrible experience with this operator
Terrible experience with this operator.
I received an invoice containing over CHF 100 in charges for calls to a premium-rate phone number. While I was trying to resolve the issue between Yallo and the third-party provider before making payment, Yallo added a CHF 30 penalty simply for sending me an invoice by email.
Although all my other Yallo services were fully paid, they then charged me three separate late payment fees of CHF 40 each—a total of CHF 120—based on this disputed CHF 30 fee.
I contacted the Swiss Telecommunications Ombudsman in Bern to review the case. The Ombudsman concluded that the CHF 30 fee had been introduced without proper legal notice and recommended that it be removed. Yallo appears to have accepted this point, but they still refused the Ombudsman's conciliation proposal because they insist on charging the three CHF 40 late payment fees that would never have arisen if the invalid CHF 30 fee had not been added.
This has been an extremely disappointing experience, with unreasonable fees and a refusal to resolve the matter fairly despite the Ombudsman's findings.

Worst customer service
Worst customer service ever.
After a month of no service, i initiated the transfer to a new operator. After couple of calls, they agreed quite quickly to cancel the notice period without fees, so far so good. When i say agreed, one guy wrote it somewhere on the dossier as a note. As a result, the 10 calls i had after that i had to re-explain the whole story every time, each time they got the wrong contract end date, they put all the blame on the new operator constantly. I spent my time calling Yallo blaming the new one and calling the new one blaming Yallo for not responding to their requests or confirming the wrong transfer date. It took me 6 weeks and probably 18 calls between the both of them.
And still towards the end they kept asking if we wanted a better price, an upgrade in the subscription, if we contacted their IT to ask for a new sim card even though i had request the cancellation for weeks already…after all of this i received yesterday a mail through the post telling me i got an upgrade in my subscription. Absolute joke.

Terrible experience with Customer Service and Support. Every time you contact them, you talk with a different operator who tells you different things. It is impossible to have written confirmation of the information shared. Impossible to reach out to them via chat, so stay away.

Terrible customer service
After changing operator I had an outstanding bill that I wasn't aware of, got sent 40chf penalty that had to be paid in 24h because of unreasonably tight deadlines, post-b delivery times, weekends, and bank transfer delays. Yallo claims to have sent a soft reminder but can't even tell me if it's an SMS or an email, because probably that didn't even happen. It's all a scam to extort extra money.
Stay away from this garbage.
Edit. Yallo is telling me in the reply to this review to contact them to review this issue. I've been trying to contact them for 3 weeks and so far they have ignored me.
