Troll Trader Ltd Reviews

I’ve been buying from Troll Trader for years, and alway have had a good experience. I once had an issue with an order and was sorted very smoothly.

Great prices and large selection

I had heard a lot of great things about Troll Trader, but unfortunately have had a very unpleasant experience dealing with them through their eBay storefront.

I purchased a number of used models from one of the eBay Live streams. Upon arrival, a couple of the minis arrived with missing parts and partially broken. Usually I would just fix these up and be on my merry way. However, the missing parts were not easily replaced and so I asked for a return. I was told that after they went back to check the footage from the live stream, that the models were already missing parts.

When I looked back, this wasn't immediately clear to me, given how little time the models are on screen for. The models weren't listed as missing parts/broken and their presenters never mentioned this when the items were put on screen. Given that they also didn't realise the models were broken when they sold them, I argued that this would be fair grounds for the return and refund of the models in question.

I waited almost two weeks without a reply. Then, when I tried to access one of their streams, eBay told me I had been blocked! Given that this was over a very simple return and refund request, I am shocked at rudeness and willingness to dodge responsibility whem they are clearly in the wrong.

I would also add that their conduct whilst on the streams is pretty poor.
They show little respect for what they are selling and how it is handled, so no wonder items are broken or missing pieces, I guess. In hindsight I wouldn't purchase from Troll Trader, and they have made that choice for me.

I opened up a case on eBay, who have sided with me and I will be getting a full refund.

Buyer beware. Troll by name, troll by nature.

Be very careful dealing with this outfit as a seller, especially it's director Louis.

My gripe with this individual concerns a bulk transaction of Chaos Rising ETBs. This transaction occured on the 3rd August. Having taken delivery of the ETB's 10th August, the director of this outfit, Louis proceeded to initiate a return claim 3 days after receiving the items disgustingly suggesting that two boxes seals he received were torn.

Given 1) the evidence (photos and video process) I had to illustrate the utmost care and attention these ETBs were given in the packaging process and also 2) being dubious of what Louis would potentially be returning me and in what condition given the amount of claims of fake goods and poor packaging I disputed his partial refund/returning request.

To my naivity, instead of making a "damaged in transit" claim to ebay, he made an "Item Not as decribed" claim hence forcing ebay to side with him in this dispute and force a return. Louis clearly knows ebay policy inside and out and knows exactly how to abuse the ebay return system to scam and in order to benefit himself.

For some reason after being allowed to return the items for return, he didnt bother. This individual is a complete waste of time and I'd be very careful dealing with him. This is a very spiteful individual who will do their utmost to try and abuse systems and processes from a platform that he has profited from previously. He had even blocked me on ebay and decided to leave negative feedback in an attempt to damage my seller rating.

I find Louis' ethics and morals laughable especially considering the negative feedback regarding his demeanor and also poor packaging processes from his 2nd hand Warhammer products he's built his business upon.

There are no positive words that can be used to describe this man and the company he represents. Any prospective seller of goods to him or TrollTrader should do so with caution.

Be careful guys. Troll by name Troll by trader!!!! Never ever will I do business with this outfit again.

I didn't want to put a bad review but I am being ignored now I sent some models which has got delivered on the 27th Aug I left it to the 2nd being the weekend and bank Holiday they email me back on the 2nd asking for the tracking number and description of the box is sent both and now its the 9th I have sent email after email and not heard anything back

Surprisingly enough, Troll Trader is VERY trustworthy. I've never received a single product that wasnt exactly how it was in the pictures and nothing has come broken. As an American, I shop on troll trader FIRST to save on building my 40k army.

The shipping is impressively fast, priloduct exactly as displayed, and at great value. Have ordered from Troll Trader before, and will again. 5 stars!!!

Quick delivery, good product

Clear pictures of the Epic model Warlord Titan, easy visible that the banner pole was broken. So no surprises after receiving the model. Was able to get a replacement banner pole via another seller. Price of this model is okay.

The model arrived quickly, exactly matched the posted photos, and was completely undamaged.
