This is Telia. It can’t deliver its product. The Internet lags behind. It’s getting worse each year.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a telephone company.
I canceled my subscription back in March and made sure that every outstanding bill was paid. To avoid any issues, I even went to one of their stores in person, where an agent confirmed that my account was fully paid, my subscription had been successfully canceled, and everything was in order.
Despite those assurances, I recently received a message claiming that I have two unpaid bills. This makes no sense, especially after being repeatedly told that my account was closed with a zero balance.
What made the situation even more frustrating was how difficult it was to get any help. I tried contacting customer service multiple times but could never get a response. On top of that, I was charged a fee to receive my invoices by mail, yet they never arrived. Because of that, I had to go to a store in person just to obtain copies of my bills. Every single time I spoke with an agent, I was told that everything was fine and that there were no outstanding balances.
Now, months after canceling my service, I'm still dealing with billing issues that should have been resolved long ago. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and repeated misinformation have been incredibly disappointing. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Yep, I'm done.
They randomly disabled my connection with no notice, while all invoices are paid. Their troubleshooting tool is as useless as the rest of the company. The website pretends as if you can contact them in various way, while there's actually just one way: phone the customer support, which, of course, is only available during working hours. Here's the surprise of the century: normal people are busy during your working hours and can't wait around while you go and fix the stuff you break.
I am cancelling the contract as soon as the binding period is over and never using this garbage again.

I signed a 24-month broadband contract with Telia. During the contract period, I moved and requested a transfer of my broadband service. Telia informed me that they could not provide broadband at my new address due to technical limitations.
I then found myself in the absurd situation of continuing to pay every month for a service that Telia could not deliver.
After posting my review, Telia replied that the binding period is linked to the contract, not the address, and that customers who may move within 24 months should avoid choosing a contract with a fixed term.
That response perfectly illustrates the problem.
I fully understand what the contract says. The issue is not whether Telia has the legal right to keep charging me. The issue is whether they have any interest in treating customers fairly when circumstances change.
I offered a reasonable solution: convert the remaining commitment into a mobile subscription for my daughter. This would have meant a brand-new 24-month commitment, continued business for Telia, and a satisfied customer. Telia refused.
So let's summarize:
Telia cannot provide the service I signed up for.
Telia continues to charge me for the remainder of the contract.
Telia refuses to transfer the commitment to another Telia service.
Telia's advice is essentially that customers should have predicted a future move before signing.
Legally, they may be entitled to do this. From a customer service perspective, it is remarkably short-sighted.
The most disappointing part is that there was a simple win-win solution available. Telia chose not to pursue it. Instead, they preferred to collect the remaining payments while ensuring that a long-term customer leaves frustrated and unwilling to recommend the company.
This experience has shown me that Telia values contract enforcement far more than customer retention. Once this contract ends, I will not be returning.

At first, when I got the number, i got several SMS messages about unpaid invoices for amounts that don't show up anywhere else. Now, after cancelling and switching to another provider, a sales person called and said that there will be no need to pay the latest invoice. They are now charging me for said invoice AND ANOTHER ONE when they failed to cancel my service for the month of march. Truly unacceptable.
Update: Had to pay a total of +1500 kr. I am very angery. Being told to ignore an invoice and then having to pay for doing so is downright malicious.

Went to Telia store in Emporia. Bought a phone and signed a 24-month (bad) contract for a phone number.
The person that did the contract did NOT inform me on a few things:
- After 12 months, the monthly payment increases with 100 SEK
- He sold me phone insurance (129 SEK) without asking me
- Some companies, the ones that know how to treat their customers, offer NEW customers something in return, for signing up with them. All I got from Telia was 299 SEK extra charge for being a new customer.
Calls from Telia to Telia don't cost anything if you are in roaming (they say). I am not actually sure that is true.
Calls to other countries - pay per minut. Shame!!!
Expensive service, no family data plans. Stuck with a contract for 24 months.
I was a customer in DK for about 7 years. One day they charged me some MB over the monthly plan, although the app showed that I was under.
Telia is a rip-off. AVOID it!

I went to buy a Swedish SIM card with contract at Telia shop in Kalmar. Despite spending more than 30 minutes with the staff to get the information details about costs, after receiving the 1st bill it came out that I was not informed about 2 issues: 1) the initial cost of signing the contract at the shop instead of online. To have this undisclosed start-cost paid back it took 3 months of several emails with Telia, and it succeeded only after I involved the Swedish consumer association.
2) I was not informed that by receiving the paper bill at home, one is charged 59kr per month.
This lack of information that results into additional costs is a bad service at the expenses of clients; it has been difficult to resolve the problems day themselves created with their missing information that is legally mandatory.

First of all I tried to get though to an operator to assist me with the online purchase of a subscription. Then They call and hang up on me twice. Then I continue online and all seems weel. But we order is confirmed, then entire thing is WRONG. Then the guy call me from Telia and tell me that I made the mistake to proceed with the purchase and they cannot help as Telia if the online website is 'faulty' and I should not proceed with the purchase. My case number for Customer service to call them tomorrow is 9200 and my order number for whatever I actually purchased is 56235821. Great Job Telia, you guys are terrible! Update: Seems like the online issue is resolved, Ill continue to monitor, but ultimately, very disappointed about the the way the staff talked to me and how they treat their customers...

I recently switched to another phone operator with cheaper plans after finally getting my personnummer and BankID. I’d been with Telia for about 8 months. At first, they were the only ones who’d accept me as a non-Swedish resident without BankID, so I had no choice.
I signed up for an unlimited data plan, but my bills kept going up — from 400 kr to 600–800 kr a month — for dumb admin fees, paper invoices, and other random taxes/charges. And I wasn't making long-distance international calls or doing anything unusual. I complained every time, but they always had some excuse and justified it.
When I finally decided to leave, they billed me for the whole month and the first 10–12 days of the next month as punishment — even though I’d already switched. That’s when I found out about the 30-day notice period, which no one had mentioned before when I initially signed up.
Telia is greedy, their business model is terrible, and dealing with them is stressful. I hope more people realize what they’re doing and switch to a better provider.

When I asked to cancel my subscription and requested a full and final invoice, your company instead harassed me through Sergel debt collectors, forcing an extortionate payment that included invoices for two additional months, completely ignoring the agreed full-and-final settlement.
How could you stoop so low?
You closed every channel of communication, even breaking the existing email chain. Your representatives were incompetent, explained nothing properly, and kept adding nonsensical value-added charges to my invoices—charges I unknowingly paid for six months until I had to visit in person to get them removed.
I was then tied into a contract that was never clearly explained to me.
Due to an urgent departure from Sweden, I repeatedly informed you of my situation and clearly requested cancellation and a full-and-final invoice. Instead, you used deliberate delay tactics, replying late and then generating a so-called “final” invoice with a hefty amount plus two months of delayed invoices, which you redirected to Sergel for forced collection.
This is a shameful act.
Where are your ethics?
My reputation has been tarnished over a so-called “debt” of 458 SEK, despite my complete transparency and repeated requests to settle everything properly because I am no longer in Sweden.
You have a full trail of messages sent to my number (which was cancelled in November). Is there no internal audit or accountability in your organization?
I am extremely disappointed and will always say NO to Telia.
You have extorted money via a debt collector, forcing payment while I was actively demanding my full-and-final invoice. How do you justify fooling and looting customers this way?
Even now, I am still debating with Sergel, asking them to contact you regarding the December invoice, which includes your charges plus their additional fee of 180 SEK. Are you serious? How can you generate a full and final invoice without first including all unpaid invoices?
I have all written proof showing that I requested cancellation clearly. You never offered negotiation, downgrade, or resolution. Instead, you chose the lowest possible path—using a debt collector to coerce payment from someone who is no longer in Sweden.
It is no surprise that people consistently rank you as the worst telecom company.
You should be ashamed of your actions.
Extortion and unclear communication appear to be your business model.
Closing all contact channels after subscription cancellation exposes your shady practices and complete lack of ethics.

Telia is adding a fee of 59 kr even when I recieve my invoice in Kivra. I asked them about this over the phone and the reason they said is that they send the invoice via physical mail (on paper) to Kivra that then scans it and adds it to my inbox. I said this is completely false and sounds made up. I called Kivra to validate this. As I expected, their reason for taking the fee is completely false and they do not send any papers to to Kivra. Everything happens digitally, Seems like they just want to squeeze some extra money form their customers?

Just switched to Bahnhof fiber internet. Literally half the cost and half the Telias claimed speed, but TWICE as fast with Bahnhof. Also changed my mobile contract three months ago as calls via Telia kept dropping off. Changed to Vimla, no problem. Telia are ripping us all off. Awful company.

Multiple sales people calling my phone, calling to my house. I tell them no no no. They keep harassing me.
There is nothing on their website to make them stop, their social media people can't do anything and when you try calling them they lie about how long you have to wait.

Got an invoice through Klarna which they added 59kr extra even though this is something that's not been written anywhere and something I have confirmed on. Called them and they said Kivra takes a fee of 59kr which doesn't seem to be true at all
