I purchased a Tempest cylinder and
1. The overall diameter of the cylinder was significantly greater than shown in the spec-sheet. I purchased this particular cylinder as it had to go through a narrow opening and 10mm oversize results in additional work
2. The packaging was not specific to the cylinder and allowed the cylinder to rotate while in transit and for a valve to puncture and protrude from the packaging
3. There were no temporary dust caps on the tank openings
4. One of the immersion-heater covers was missing its retaining nut and had fallen off
5. The cylinder was poorly presented - Oily finger prints and scuff marks on the cylinder

Telford Technical Support were responsive and helpful but, overall, I believe that the list of issues I encountered indicates a company that has low standards for quality.

Sean Reynolds has been invaluable in helping with an issue that could, potentially, have invalidated a customers warranty. He went above and beyond in his customer service with excellent communication throughout.

Recently installed a Telford unvented hot water cylinder, excellent quality, arrived fast & was well packaged , very well manufactured cylinders . Sean on the technical service department was very helpful with information regarding registering the cylinder for the customers warranty , I wouldn’t install anything else .

I had a Telford Cylinder fitted last year. I forgot to register it and as a result I had no guarantee. I approached Telford and they arranged for my cylinder to have its first year service. Very kindly they agreed to register my cylinder. Thank you for going above and beyond with excellent customer service.

Sean in Technical team was a great help. He sent me a schematic of exactly what I required and backed it up with a phone call.

I needed to have the Solar Thermal system serviced. After trying for weeks with other businesses without success, I phoned this Company. Oh my goodness I don’t know where to start !
From the very first time I spoke to Caroline the customer service has been second to none !
Basically we had a Tornedo cylinder installed a few years ago during a big remodel project at our house and it’s sadly failed and the guy that installed it never registered it for the warranty
and never serviced it !
Anyway we have bought a new one direct and had it fitted this week direct from the company and every single email and phone call has been dealt with super fast and efficiently
Today I’ve phoned up to register the cylinder as instructed by the fitter but it’s already been done !
I would highly recommend this company and will use them every year for the service
