Rhys’s email clearly explained the documents I needed to upload to the site, and the information provided was very clear, polite, and informative. His response was prompt and helpful, making the process straightforward and easy to understand.
I was particularly impressed with the efficiency and speed of the customer service. Rhys provided excellent assistance and demonstrated a very professional and helpful approach throughout.

Awful!
Where do i start? Support = none.
Changed the goalposts constantly asking for documents several times to process renewal to be told not acceptable then when challenged stating they are good to go. We have been with Safe Contractor for many years but just got tired of the constant refusals and 'pushbacks' If an additional fee was paid then things could be expedited but never a good enough service.
We have now moved to a competitor who processed our membership in 3 days with no queries.
Awful service from Lucy Thomas who didn't seem to know her role and what was acceptable document wise. Also time taken to respond was very challenging.

We achieved Safe Contractor accreditation again for 2026/2027 as the company needs it when tendering for contracts. The process was straight forward using the Alcumus portal and Sharon Evans helped with good advice in the final stages of the application.

I found the process of completing…
I found the process of completing on-line fairly easy. If anything was missing my assessor "Emma West" made it very clear what she required to complete form. We ran close to expiry date of old certificate and after a call with Emma she went above and beyond to assess and push through our new certificate on the same day as phone call.

Taking funds without consent.
When the company i work part time for joined, safecontrator would not provide bank details for me to send the £1300 fee so i paid personally and claimed back from my employer.
A month ago, for renewal, they took over £1300 from my personal account. When i saw on friday the funds in suspense for debit on monday, i rang and emailed on the saturday morning and again on the monday, withdrawing my consent for them to debit me for a business cost. They refused to do this and stole from me personally.
They suggested i claim back again from the company i am now leaving. I asked them to contact the company themselves and reimburse me.
Again they refused despite the fact i withdrew my consent for them to take funds from my personal account. Disgraceful behaviour.
They keep referring to "our contract" but i am not a party to the contract!!!
