Great on the phone, promised attendance same day and quoted a price. (Can’t understand why first hour charge inc call out fee, labour & parts would be same rate for subsequent hours tho?). Turned up... See more

The engineer arrived. He had a simple task to fit a radiator to my kitchen wall.
The pipework was already there.
He completed the task in an hour, and reassured me I would be charged for an hour.
He asked me to ring up and pay, which I did. Instead of being charged £200.00.
The lady demanded £400.00. When I complained, she said the job took 1 hour and 11 minutes. But dropped the price to £295.00. Considering the job done, and the time taken, this was far too expensive, a complete rip off of an elderly vulnerable gentleman.
Called up and they told me there was availability for the next day and took my card details.
They then called me in the morning, cancelled the appointment, and told me that there was no one available in my area and that I'd have to try another company.
Frustrating and also very bizzare considering they were advertised in our local area magazine.
The boiler service was completed but the process was not efficient - the date was changed at short notice and for a morning appointment the engineer arrived at 4pm - I had been phoned at midday and told he would be there by 1pm. We had to change our plans as a result and will not use Rightio again for a boiler service

Excellent service the guy was really good put my mind at ease so pleased I contacted them.
Joseph was professional, diligent and friendly in replacing my kitchen mixer tap and fixing my leaking bathroom shower. Would use again.
Despite advertising “Nationwide coverage” and specifically mentioning the area where I live in the advert in “The Local Answer”, after 5 minutes waiting on the phone the operative said they could not provide a plumber in “that area”. So the advert is a lie. Can’t Co comment on their actual plumbers’ work as I’ll never see it in action!

Attention trades!!! Avoid like the plague! They advertised a job for 100£+vat and then paid 40% of that, which was 48£. Customer charged 250£ for a 5 minute job. Avoid it using their services! I did this one job for them and requested to close down my account!

I was impressed with the efficient and courteous manner of the Rightio Engineer in effecting and demonstrating the repair which he carried out to my satisfaction. However the administrative time taken by Rightio (2 days) before the job was complete was overly long. Also while happy with the job done I felt the price was pretty steep.
Beware of signing any direct debit mandate allowing Rightio Plumbers and its associated company the "Care Club". This organisation has one real purpose only, and it's got nothing to do with providing customers with plumbing maintenance. The entire organisation has one purpose only: to sequester money from your bank account, so forget about customer service and get used to receiving threatening letters, telling you that they are sending bailiffs round.

I needed a leak from my toilet cistern to be repaired. The response was quick and the contractor duly arrived on time.
However, the cistern still leaks, despite my payment of over £200 for 30 minutes work.
I am deeply disappointed by this repair and cannot afford another plumber to attend, so i live with this leak and continually mop up.
If I could give this company a zero rating I would. They advertise a ‘local’ phone number but employ people all over as their agents. The agent visited my elderly mum for a little over 30 minutes. The boiler had low pressure and needed servicing. In the time the agent was present he released the water pressure, taking no more than 2 or 3 minutes and serviced the boiler. He left no paper work related to work undertaken. For this work my mum was charged in the region of £300. A complete rip-off. Avoid.
Booked Rightio plumber for my elderly inlaws 80+. They charged £600 for sink pipe leak. All he did was add a washer and change a bit pipe. Granted it was in an awkward position, but c'mon 2 old age pensioners being fleeced like this. The plumber/ contractor who came was embarrassed when he showed the bill to my wife. Never again using this company.

Do not use Rightio. They use predatory tactics to inflate their bills, deliberately keeping the clock ticking while engineers collect materials, and they originally tried to scam me out of over £800 for bathroom work. I ultimately paid a premium fee of £585.77, which resulted in three emergency callbacks in just five days due to the appalling workmanship of their engineer, Sam Nolan. The tap he supplied leaked immediately, and after he attempted to fix it, a pressurised mains copper pipe completely disconnected and blew out. This catastrophic error has completely ruined my kitchen ceiling below with extensive water damage. This same engineer has a pattern of severe incompetence; it took him two failed attempts to install a kitchen sink at my home, during which he physically damaged the new sink, left it loose, left the kitchen tap completely loose, and even tried to leave the old kitchen sink abandoned out in the road until he was forced to return and collect it. A completely different engineer, Owen Bailey, had to be deployed on a separate visit just to tighten and rescue Sam's botched kitchen tap work. Despite written admissions of fault on the job sheets from their own staff, Rightio's complaints team is refusing a refund and denying legal liability. They take your cash, destroy your property, breach your consumer rights, and dodge accountability. Avoid this company at all costs.
Advice if Rightio botched your home:
• Document the destruction: Take clear, time-stamped photographs of any water staining, bubbling plaster, or structural property damage caused by their leaks.
• Get your proof: Demand copies of the engineers' job sheets immediately before they can be altered or deleted from their system.
• Skip their complaints team: Call your bank straight away to start a Chargeback (debit card) or Section 75 claim (credit card) for a total breach of contract and substandard service.
