What can’t I say about this absolute abomination of a campsite we went to Thorness bay isle of white we booked a gold caravan turned up and it was awful Christ knows what ther saver caravans are like our family booked 4 caravans for the week to have a big family holiday my brother and his wife left after 3 days my nan and grandad after 4 then the rest of us after 5 days the ants in the caravan were so bad all in our clothing I had a 5 month old baby that when I got up to feed in the night had ants crawling all over her and her travel cot the shower didn’t work properly and wasn’t fixed securely the carpet in the living room looked like it was cut with a hand saw to a standard that the gripper rods weren’t actually covered and my 2 year old cut her foot the entertainment was mediocre at best no activities for the kids just all in all a poor experience if you want my advice either book with haven or at the very least don’t go to thorness bay

Came for a two day
visit for second time in 16 months. I wouldn’t go back again. Rules around noise and to be respectful 10.30-8am. I expect a little
Noise and if it was till 11-30 I would be fine with. But the motor home and caravan section at the back of the site was ridiculously noisey. Friday night I got 3 hours sleep. Why is there not anyone who monitors this at night. Doesn’t help that you have a club house open till 2am.
Expensive resturant prices.
quite a long walk down to the main venue. Could do with a small cafe maybe half way down where you check in.
Check in times for a pitch being 2pm is very late considering no maintenance is done. !!! And early check out 10am. That’s the earliest time I have ever had to leave.
Dog poo in 3 places on our pitch. Clearly not checked.
This is a great place for kids and families. But for anyone without kids who wants a quick getaway in the touring section I would think again. Not a peaceful place.

I’ve received an email today advising I need to pay £42 for holiday passes. I want to remove them from my booking as my Mum is a disabled pensioner so they won’t be used. The blurb on the website advises to click on Live Chat for amendments. The Live Chat button can’t be found -I’ve tried mobile phone and laptop. I’ve lost over 40 minutes to this. This is not good customer service at all and this is before you go on holiday.
Update. I spent 43 minutes on hold for Live Chat on Monday, 20th July. . Booking passes removed by Jazmin who was very helpful. Got there in the end. Thank you.

It was easy to book the holiday at short notice at a place we want to go to in reasonably priced accommodation. The location looks peaceful and just what we are looking for. Fingers crossed it lives up to expectations.

Hi, this was my first time at Camber Sands Holiday Park. It’s a beautiful place; the chalet was spotless, and the staff at reception, the shop, and everywhere else were friendly. I was pleasantly surprised—my week-long stay was a completely positive experience. Thank you very much.

As a Motorhome visitor we found it wasn’t Motorhome friendly.. we parked up on the warren side (e6) of the Ty Mawr North Wales holiday park. There was only one water supply tap that we could see and absolutely nowhere to drain a Motorhome waste holding tank …. We asked in reception where the tank could be drained and they didn’t know!!! The toilet block was very basic but clean. Showers was hot but you had to keep pressing the button for water every 30 seconds which was far from ideal. The food outlets on park was very expensive however the Londis shop was well stocked and reasonably priced.

Great mon-fri break well needed in Eyemouth. Booked per friendly caravan which was clean and kept well. Downside it was on the smaller side for 6 people but we managed through. We had an issue with the window that was reported and looked at the same day within hours. We never ate in the onsite restaurant however our little one went to the wee kids club which she enjoyed.

We did find rotten food under the sofa in the living room, the grill wasn't working hasn't been checked for 2 years, broke hairdryer.
Quite concerned regarding the water pipes and water quality, we felt sick as soon as we drank some water.

Paying £100 for two dogs and then having no place those dogs could come inside with you is not dog friendly. Anyone who thinks it is, doesn't own dogs. Having to separate the family, to have one of us do activities with our daughter, while the other of us looked after the dogs outside, is not Family friendly either. Really really disappointed.

We have just stayed at Newquay Parkdean Resort and had the most lovely week in a wonderful part of the country. The caravan was clean and decorated nicely and the staff were really helpful and nice. Even when we couldn’t get into the caravan on time due to the cleaning staff not finished, they gave us a free £20 voucher to spend on the park. I would highly recommend.

I stayed at Parkdean Looe and the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. The accommodation I was given was in such poor condition that I had to leave after one night. I asked twice for relocation and none was available, and the issues I reported were serious enough that the place simply wasn’t fit for purpose.
What made the situation even worse was how Parkdean handled it afterwards. The responses I received felt dismissive and made it seem like I was somehow at fault for raising genuine concerns. Several parts of their communication didn’t match what actually happened, and it came across as an attempt to shift responsibility instead of acknowledging the reality of the situation.
Revolut has now refunded the majority of the charges after reviewing the evidence, which says everything about the condition of the accommodation and the way this was dealt with.
Because of this experience, neither I nor my friends or family will be staying at a Parkdean site again. Customers deserve honesty and support when something goes wrong — not to be made to feel blamed or ignored.

Had an issue when trying to book online, in that, my HASSRA complimentary voucher would not work so phoned Parkdean Customer Services
I spoke to a lovely lady called Claire who sorted the problem immediately and completed my booking for me
Claire was friendly and professional and could not do enough for me, told me which caravan I would be staying in and where it was on the site
She was aware that my young granddaughter would be staying with us so did explain that there was no swimming pool or children's entertainment on site but there was a play area
Couldn't fault the customer service, excellent

We have visited warmwell for the past 2 year and were looking forward to coming again. We’ve previously had a lovely time and have had no problems with our lodges.
When I booked this year, I specifically chose a lodge that wasn’t pet friendly. Both of my daughters are allergic to pet hair so this was important to us.
When I went into manage my booking several weeks after booking, I noticed it said I was in pet friendly accommodation so could add a dog.
I’ve checked back against my original booking and I definitely didn’t book pet friendly accommodation.
When I contacted the online chat, I was told that there were only pet friendly accommodation left in that grade of lodge at the time of booking so that is what we have been allocated. I’m therefore confused why it didn’t show as pet friendly on the booking page. If it had, I would not have booked.
The customer service at park dean seems very poor. They are insisting this is my fault and refused to give any discount for an upgrade. They have also acknowledged however that the accommodation didn’t show as pet friendly when I booked.
We’ve emailed customer services but told a reply is unlikely for 3 weeks so unfortunately this will be too late for our holiday.
This has completely ruined any excitement for our holiday and I’m now worried about how any lingering pet hair will affect our children whilst away.

Just had 4nhts at sandford nr Poole Dorset, gold premium caravan with decking& parking, it was not worth the extra cost involved at booking, furniture and bed very uncomfortable, oven not at all clean, the table on the decking was so dirty as was the actual decking ,seeing as it was a extra charge to have the decking you would think it would have been ready to use, would not book with them again

Booked a gold caravan holiday at park dean.. In Burgh Castle Norfolk. Caravan site was very very tired. Steps to the caravan were bad and I fell down them. So old they were worn so the steps were slippery. Bath room one corner near the shower wall was damp and part of it was missing as it was rusty and had a hole. Nothing to do there . Crazy golf was so old it was stuck together by odd bits and pieces. Everywhere !!!!!!!!!!! was old and tired. Bit of a dump looking. Even the staff( what little we saw) were not happy . Said goodmorning and got a grunt.
I have been to park dean before. This was of the of the worst holiday I have had. Couldn't use pool as it was taken over by unruly kids. Which put me off. No one in control.
If you have dogs most of the places we wanted to go to were no dogs allowed. Parking was a nightmare if you could get one.
This is a true review. I have never put a negative opinion before. We have been to park dean before which was excellent. Which was why we went to it again.

Compact means you can’t move in bedroom end off caravan.
Designated parking, had to either bump up high kerb, or go round corner and weave between everyone’s caravans.
Optional decking, no option to have
Overpriced for what we ended up with
