An old Polish lady in the Lidl store in Warsaw needed help, I asked the employee in English to help her and he basically yelled at me "POLSKA!!" and refused to help. What the hell was that. Not the first time I got yelled at in Polish Lidl, but the first time because of speaking English.

Every week I activate coupons and every week only half of them actually activate when I check out and I never know which ones will. I’ve lost at least 100zl in this inaccurate process over the past months

Lidl in Poland does not accept returns of household electrical appliances. I bought Silvercrest coffee express, tried it at home only once literally and was very unsatisfied with the quality. I wiped it dry and packed it so that it was in perfect condition as bought - took it to the shop and requested return. I was told that the company does not accept returns once the product was used! How we can check if product is good if we cannot try it. But this is the company policy. They accepted return under guarantee which implies that I have to agree to a replacement of the item, which I did not want as it is a unsatisfactory product in my opinion. Lidl in Poland wants me to accept the product and they did not provide any information in writing, there is nobody I can write to. On their website there is clear information that they accept products back if it was returned in perfect order, which was the case. The shop manager in Aleja Rzeczpospolita in Warsaw, where the product was returned did not give me any copy of my bill or the form that he sent to the company dealing with complaints. The company, I believe sub-contractros dealing with complaints are polite but their policy is that customers like myself are left very unhappy as they do not accept returns at all. I advise people not to buy electrical domestic small appliances in Poland from Lidl. Shameful customer treatment. The product was

Watch out whilst you are shopping here, they do not have sufficient staff on tills so people get frustrated. I bought promotional item which gave a 30% discount if you buy two on Lidl plus. No time to check the whole receipt after purchase as only one till and unhappy customers. Arrived home checked and no discount. Can’t be an error as this is the second time. Last time I will shop there.

If you are looking for a complacent shoping experience at a very low price with somewhat decent quality. Here's the place. Polish Lidls are exceptionally good compared to UK, DE and IE. But the budget has the consequence of somewhat poor service and cleanliness. I'd still recommend shopping locally to support your community even if it's slightly less convenient.

This review concerns only household appliances from the Silver Crest brand sold through Lidl, which are serviced by Kompernaß. It is unacceptable that such a large and reputable retailer as Lidl continues to work with a service provider as unprofessional as Kompernaß. After submitting a complaint no 118550098 regarding a Silver Crest product, I received no response from the service center, despite multiple follow-ups. This complete disregard for the customer is disappointing and undermines trust both in the Silver Crest brand and in Lidl as a retailer. I urge Lidl to reconsider its cooperation with Kompernaß or to ensure its branded appliances are serviced by a partner that meets basic standards of communication and customer care. Based on my experience, I will not be purchasing Silver Crest appliances again and advise others to be cautious. This review does not refer to Lidl’s stores or other product categories—only to the handling of Silver Crest household appliances and the service provided by Kompernaß.

Good prices, wide choice of products, friendly staff, good locations :)

There are some aspects of the store format which is a bit annoying, constantly changing stock with random themes... But the quality of the food is good and the price reasonable. I can forgive the checkout staff being too fast, because the overall product is very good. Some of my favourite food items are always in stock, and I like experimenting with the random odd items.
