Not only was the effects pedal heavily discounted, Hot Rox applied an extra discount for my subscribing to emails and they gave me free delivery! I had some questions about the pedal and so contacted them and received a reply very quickly. The pedal arrived the next day in perfect condition and very well packed. I cannot fault this company. They go above and beyond and I won't hesitate to use them in the future. Thanks Hot Rox!

I had a good initial experience ordering from Hot Rox and my order arrived very quickly! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with how my subsequent return was handled.

I decided to cancel the online order and returned the item completely sealed and unused. My order had been advertised with free shipping, but I was told that £9.95 would be deducted from my refund to cover Hot Rox’s original outward delivery costs.

I was happy to pay for the tracked and insured return postage myself, but queried the additional deduction because I had selected free delivery and had not requested or paid for an enhanced delivery service.

After checking the Consumer Contracts Regulations, I politely raised my concerns and asked Hot Rox to clarify the basis for the deduction. I was told that they had incurred costs for postage, packaging and staff time. I subsequently asked them to reconsider and, if they maintained their position, to point me towards the relevant provision of the Regulations.

Unfortunately, I never received a response to that email. I returned the sealed item at my own expense and the £9.95 was ultimately deducted from my refund. I also received no acknowledgement that the return had been received or that my refund was being processed; I found out when the payment provider notified me of the refund.

I completely appreciate that independent retailers incur costs when customers return items, and the service up until this point had been good. However, I was disappointed that my concerns about the deduction were left unanswered.

I’m mainly leaving this review so other customers are aware that, in my experience, an order supplied with free shipping may still have Hot Rox’s original delivery cost deducted if you subsequently change your mind and return it.

Second time I've used Hot Rox and on both occasions I've found the price to be really competitive and the delivery/postage quick and thorough. What more do you want? Recommend.

Yea, they measure and properly match the tubes in-house. Perfect service. I'd love to see a wider range, though.

Fast delivery and great prices. The items I ordered were much cheaper than a well known mega retailer, and even better from an independent music store!
